The only reason for less than a 5 star review is that I do not like the silence while the call is being connected. Always makes me wonder if my call is actually being connected. Several instances I just sat there with silence on the phone while in fact the other party answered but I didn’t hear anything

Service is good, had a couple of glitches, but they were fixed

Never any problems connecting to my friends overseas and at greatly reduced rates than my telephone provider gives. Would highly recommend Toolani who regularly makes overseas calls

Your system does not work at all as I get cut off a minute into any call. I am desperately trying to book a flight and I can get no assistance!
Not at all impressed and am looking for alternatives as I write.

In answer to your response David, the numbers dialled were not hot lines or premium numbers. I am aware to the restrictions made by Toolani and adhere to them.

It would appear that the Toolani VOIP is somewhat restricted so I would recommend that prospective clients investigate their intended usage as you may be disappointed if you are not fully aware of the capabilities. I have included a two paragraph email reply from David West of Toolani, which gives an insight into what he provides.

David West: 'As I said, we generally do not connect to hotlines or service phones, just to regular, private lines. We cannot guarantee that the the connection to a hotline works, since we do not control the way in which the call is going to be handled or forwarded there. You can try to call a hotline or taxi or hotel with toolani, but as you saw, we cannot always make sure that the call is properly connected. Unfortunately, we are unable to intervene on such calls and make adjustments, which is why we advise against using toolani for such services.

'In the case of a large hotel for example, we can connect to single rooms, if you have the direct extension. However, we cannot guarantee that if you call the lobby and they forward the call for you to a specific extension/room, the call won't drop. If you call the room directly, the call with toolani works, just not if it's being forwarded."

Very reasonable price to make calls on the go!

Good service and clear line at a very reasonable tariff. I've tried a few companies but Tooani is the best by far

after I call for half a minute it repeats from the other end. I have to put of the phon and call again to continue my discussion. it is annoying!

I call my 90 year old mom every day from the states. The connection is always very clear and the price is very good.
