The only slight query we have had with this order is that the dowels were shown as 12.7mm so our job was prepared for this size. In actuality the size was only 12mm therefore causing rectification with the job in hand.

Very happy with the Oak dowels. they arrived well packaged and in the time window suggested. I was kept well informed by email and was very happy with the level of communication. A good quality product with good service, you can't really ask for any more than this!

I ordered some oak dowels primarily because of the very competitive pricing.

The dowels arrived extremely promptly and were very well packaged to avoid damage. When I unwrapped them I found out why - they are some of the best quality dowels I have bought (and I have used a lot in the past).

I will certainly use Tools and Timber again and would highly recommend them.

I purchased a few oak dowels of different sizes, which arrived in darkest Cornwall promptly and are of excellent quantity. A small purchase but I am well impressed.

I PLACED MY ORDER AT 3PM ON THE FRIDAY AND IT ARRIVED ON THE TUESDAY AT 8 30AM AS MONDAY WAS A BANK HOLIDAY SO IN MY OPINION VERY PROMPT. UNFORTUNATELY THE DOWELS SELECTED FOR DISPATCH WERE THE WRONG SIZE BUT A QUICK PHONE CALL AND REPLACEMENTS WERE ORGANISED FOR A NEXT DAY DELIVERY.
ALL STAFF I SPOKE TO WERE PLEASANT AND HELPFULL.

The site is nice to navigate as it responds quickly and everything seems easy to find with enough pictures to coax one into exploring. As I was looking for carving accessories it took a while to spot Wood Carving but hey it is obvious when you know.
The site promises 1-4 days delivery and it arrived next day beating the expectation.
Definitely somewhere I'll buy from again and soon.

a clear website. I ordered my bessey duoklamps from Toolsandtimber because they were keenly priced. postage was not to expensive and the order arrived three days later. i am very pleased with my new clamps and can recommend Toolsandtimber.

Product (lime wood blanks) well finished. Beautifully packed against harm. Arrived earlier than expected. Full marks all round.

In fact they are probably better than expert, if that were possible.

First purchase in the [link] range and its not as good as i had hoped. Machine marks on the back are obvious and at this price i was expecting a polished finish. The chisel is sharp though.

The web page was easy to access , email confirming order was sent immediately and goods arrived well packed without damage within the stated time frame. I would have no hesitation in buying from this company again or recommending it to anybody else.
