Disappointed – Missing Free Item and Poor Customer Service

I recently ordered from Trade Mart, and while the main product arrived, the free item that was clearly advertised as part of the offer was missing.

When I called customer service to ask about it, I was told the supplier didn’t send the free item — and that “I paid for the product, not the freebie.” The representative was rude and dismissive, offering only to take the product back for a refund if I wasn’t happy.

I understand supply issues can happen, but this should have been communicated upfront — not discovered after I chased them down. The tone and attitude during the call made the experience disappointing.

I hope Trade Mart improves communication and customer support going forward.

Tool is great. Customer service less so

I ordered a Kent&Stowe 70100164 Stainless Steel Long Handled Daisy Weeder on Monday morning. The website stated stock available with next day delivery at a cost of £7.50 extra. Item had not arrived by Wednesday. I called the company a few times to be greeted with an answerphone message to say no-one was available. Eventually I got through to an operator who said this item was not available on a next day delivery. He agreed to refund £7.50 and strangely enough the tool arrive next day. Beware using this website. I would not use them again.

Absolutely brilliant......
Delivery was quick, well packed and everything was in parcel with nothing missing or damaged.
Great value items and even with delivery charge still cheaper than anywhere else I had seen.

Next day delivery? Uh Where??SCAM

UPDATE: Order was cancelled their end, and they claim to have sent an email out on Friday. I have checked every email folder, I searched my emails and they did NOT send this email to inform me they cancelled it. I'm computer savvy, so I know how to check and search my emails. They apparently issued a refund the same day, it is now Tuesday and no refund has been received. Awful company. Terrible customer service.

Ordered Friday at 10am, paid £7.50 for next day delivery. Websites state orders placed before 1pm will be shipped same day. Order status is STILL showing as unfulfilled. Item has not been received as of 7pm Monday. Emailed TWICE for a refund and ZERO reply. I will be calling tomorrow to ensure refund is processed immediately. Absolutely awful! I'm assuming this "company" is NOT a legit company at all.

Customer service great, as EVRI lost my delivery,Order was resent next day delivery, very good and efficient service. Just need to stop using EVRI, they lose everything,must be bad for business.

Terrible delivery service.

Product are ok, customer service is average, no phone number just a frustrating text system, however the worst thing about the company is the delivery company they use, awful.
Tracking information is terrible, shows the parcel hasn’t moved for 4 hours, then the delivery driver arrives and goes, only then is the tracking info updated.

They use Evri to deliver, save your money and go elsewhere

I purchased on a Saturday 17th August on-line a box of 10 Soudal Express Repair cement tubes for an urgent out of hours job the following weekent. The price was very reasonable, delivery less than a fiver which should have set the alarm bells ringing. I was advised by Monday that my parcel was on its way to me then I was advised by email again from Evri that they have my parcel.
To date I have had 3 daily emails from this c##p delivery company, Weds, Thurs and on Friday, the first 2 emails followed minutes after by a failure to deliver (basically they could not be @#rsed to deliver to me). I will expect Fridays (23rd) promise of delivery to be cancelled some time in the afternoon. I now have to drive miles to a stockist as I must have the repair cement for an out of hours job over the weekend.
Had I known Evri were involved I woukd never have used this company, I have been let down badly.
Only got the 1 star because I couldn't move on, you get minus stars from me. I am furious.
Plus they never reply to your emails with any queries.

Terrible company

Terrible company. I ordered something via Amazon but it never came and they kept saying it would be delivered, had wrong address (a lie), needed more information to make delivery (but never said what they needed) etc. They use EVRI as couriers who are the absolute worst courier company and should be run out of business. I have had same experience countless times.

NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY I JUST SPOKE TO ((**SHERLIE** A VERY RUDE MANGER)) WHO KEPT SPEAKING OVER ME AND RAISING HER VOICE AGGRESIVELY AS I WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO HER I HAD WAITED IN ALL DAY AND WAS NOT HAPPY THAT I DIDN'T RECIEVED MY DELIVERY, AND I HAD TRIED CALLING THEM AND LEFT VOICE MESSAGES BUT NO ONE GOT BACK TO ME, SHE RUDLY HANGED UP THE PHONE ON ME. AND DIDN'T ANSWER 4 TIME WHEN I CALLED BACK. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, BETTER TO BUY FROM ELSE WHERE FOR MORE EXPESIVE THEN TO BE LET DOWN AND INSULTED

Need to add method to Option needed to completely remove unwanted items from basket please

after putting items in the basket there is no clear option to remove unwanted items. I had 5 items in the basket & wanted to remove an item in the sale which was cheaper on another site (as a non sale item) so I decided I did not need to pay more for it. As I only had 1 of these I could not reduce it to zero. I could add more and reduce items if I had more than 1 of them but I could not remove it completely. I've now shut the website and will buy the other 4 items elsewhere. Ridiculous waste of time ..

My experience with these guys has been great

I have brought tonne bags twice from these guys. First order I got an email on Monday after purchasing to say item is not in stock but will be in stock Wednesday. My first thought was 'here we go' but they arrived soon after. Second order came next day.
