Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding it unresponsive, difficult to reach a human, and often unhelpful with issues like account access or technical problems. Customers also frequently report problems with their subscriptions, including unexpected charges, issues with upgrades, and difficulty canceling. The user experience and website functionality were also major sources of frustration, with many encountering data lags, changes to features that negatively impact trading, and issues with chart settings not saving. Some people were dissatisfied with the platform's service, noting that features became paywalled over time and that the basic version lacked essential functions like real-time data. However, some customers also mentioned that the platform itself is good enough for charting and offers many charts and easy-to-use tools.

Used to be great

Used to be great. Support was a real person. They have since outgrown the ability to serve the customer. They keep adding stuff like data feeds and their support is not supportive and the help videos are wordy, hard to follow because they rarely stick to the point, too long with little value. I tend to get TV tips from other users, not the 'help' section. It's gotten so bad, that after ,4 or 5 years, I'm starting to shop around.

I attempted to contact support and found that the direct support feature is no longer available. The platform now relies primarily on AI assistance, which proved largely unhelpful.

#krypto #Mining. Not fueled by trends. Structure and discipline lead the way. Since joining, stability has been evident.

They have zero customer service

They have zero customer service. They intentionally waited until my refund period expired before replying, only to tell me it was 'too late' for a refund. This is calculated theft and predatory behavior. Absolutely dishonest business practices

SCAM WARNING: Paid for 1 Year, got 4 Months. Support is DEAD.THEFT OF SERVICE

THEFT OF SERVICE: I paid for an Annual Subscription (+1 Free Month), but due to a system glitch, my account was downgraded to only 4 months! I have been robbed of 9 months of paid service.

IGNORED FOR HALF A MONTH: I submitted a ticket 2 weeks ago. No one has replied. The ticket is stuck in "In Progress" while my subscription burns away.

BROKEN CHATBOT LOGIC: The support system is a joke. I tried to open a new ticket to get attention, but the bot BLOCKS me saying "a similar ticket exists." YES, it exists because you HAVEN'T RESOLVED IT! Can't your system judge based on time and status? Blocking users from asking for help when they are being ignored is unacceptable.

VERDICT: If you are lucky and never need help, buy it. But if you run into ANY issue, you are on your own. They will take your money and ghost you. STAY AWAY.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE

The charting software is mostly good, I have been using it for years. However I have a problem with the mobile app, here it falls apart. You cannot email 'tradingview support' email address, despite the name they will not provide support. The chat bot you must get past gives a list of problems, if your problem isn't on the list and you tell it so. it presents you with the list again, and so you go around in circles. When you finally give up and ask if you can speak to a human, guess what, yes the same list again. So you give up and email 'support' telling them you can't get past the chat bot and they say please go to the support page and chat to the bot, AAAARRRGGGGHHHHHHH. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. As much as I like the software, what is the point when as soon as it stops working you are basically abandoned, even though you have just paid for another years subscription. I'd ask the bot but it will just give me the same old list. Come on tradingview, you are taking peoples money then taking the p*** out of them, NOT ON. AVOID DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They have a chatbot for any customer service issues and they make it impossible to reach a real person. I’ve been trying to reach someone for weeks about being double charged and I cannot create a support ticket. I’m going to report it as fraud at this point. As soon as a better company is created I’m never using them again

Excellent charts, terrible customer support.

The platform for charting itself is excellent however if you encounter problems and need support don't expect too much. They rely on automated chatbot and it's literally impossible to speak to an actual person at all. In order to submit a support ticket it's extremely difficult if not also impossible. It would seem they intentionally make this difficult to minimize requests

Billing is a nightmare

Billing is a nightmare. Long story short: effectively they ended up charging a year's worth of the Plus plan without ever providing that level of access.

Zero way of reaching customer service, their chat bots have been programmed to ensure you can't ever open a ticket of this nature.

RRRRuuuuuuunnnnnn!

Made the mistake of asking for more information on a 'breakthrough' money making/investment idea. Once my phone number was entered, I immediately started getting calls from numerous numbers from numerous countries. When I finally answered one that indicated it was from Vancouver, Canada, I spoke to Edward Smith about TradingView.com. Throughout the conversation, my suspicions rose and I indicated I was no longer interested and requested my number be removed from the call list. Since Monday, December 1, I have received about 100 calls from this company. If I answer, I get connected to Edward Smith. This person argues with me about my decision not to invest in TradingView through Intellineurapp. I requested they 'cease and desist' and before I even put the phone down, had 3 more 'spam' blocked calls on my call list and received 3 more calls after that. This may not be a scam, but with high pressure sales and blatant harassment like this, I'm not sure why anyone would trust them with any money, as I'm sure no matter how much you invest, it'll never be enough, and from other reviews, it seems apparent all they provide are graphs and charts and there are frequently problems accessing those, too. When asked where Mr. Smith was based, he indicated Geneva, not Vancouver as my caller id indicated.

Non-Existent Support for Premium Customers - Disrespectful and Unacceptable

I have been a subscriber to the TradingView Premium plan, spending few hundred $ annually for what is supposed to be a best-in-class platform. While the charting tools themselves are functional, the customer support system is, without exaggeration, a total and complete failure.

When an issue arises—especially complex data or broker connection problems—you are immediately funneled into an endless, circular loop of chatbots and generic FAQ articles that are designed for one purpose: to prevent you from speaking to an actual human being.

I spent hours attempting to generate a simple support ticket, only to be met with irrelevant questions and automated responses that repeatedly failed to understand the core issue. This is not customer service; it is a meticulously engineered firewall designed to waste your time.

TradingView clearly takes its paying customers for granted. They are perfectly happy to cash my subscription fees and the significant add-on fees for real-time data, but the moment genuine support is required, they treat the money I pay as having zero value.

For a service that is so critical to financial decision-making, the absence of accessible, human support is negligent and frankly, dishonest. Prospective buyers should know that if something goes wrong, you are absolutely on your own. Do not be fooled by the high price tag—the service behind the charts is non-existent.

Rating: 1/5 stars. Focus on fixing your support, not just pushing new features.

Commincation

I’m having trouble communicating with TradingView. I’ve tried to explain that I had multiple subscriptions and ended up overpaying. Using their usual communication channels, but I haven’t been successful. At this point, I’m considering canceling my entire subscription.

Shamefully bad service.

Shamefully bad service.
Wanted to extend my subscription not through choice but because the indicators I use are only available on the trading view, and so far it has been impossible to get to them to cancel an old credit card which was originally used for the subscription as it has been canceled by the bank due to a fraud.
There is no phone number provided.
Chatbots do Not solve the problem
It says you can leave a message but you cannot as you have to go through a chat bot
If and when they do reply to the emails to either support or billing at Tradingview .com There is the crass little message that they do not provide support via email and to use the chat bots.

Words cannot describe how much I loathe having to do business with this company. The moment my indicator pack moves elsewhere I will, with great delight, cancel my subscription.

tradingview gives false information to its users about public chat

I signed up with tradingview before 2025 and have public chats enabled and as you may know that tradingview allows users to change their username twice only so I already changed my username twice and wanted to change again so decided to create another tradingview account and purchased premium on this new account too that I created in 2025 and during purchase, it even says on their website that "public chats" is enabled. After creating a new account and paying for the premium package, I could not see the public chat anymore, then I sent a message to the support team and this is their answer:
"We are removing public chats, and they are not available to the users registered this year"

But they state that public chats is enabled during sign up and premium purchase so tradingview gives false information to its users and legal actions must be taken.

So basically if someone signed up before 2025, he/she can still access the public chat and share charts but another person signed up after/end of 2025 can't access the public chat. This is a big discrimination and legal actions must be taken. Both parties paid for their service at the end of the day(before 2025 and after 2025) and one gets more functionality(public chat) and another don't.

tradingview public chat is not available for new users

I just signed up as a premium member on tradingview and can't see the public chat room when I click on the chats icon so sent a message to the support team and this is their answer:

"Hello! We are removing public chats, and they are not available to the users registered this year. Private chats will still be available for all users. You can also use Minds instead."

This is unacceptable as they never mentioned that public chat is unavailable for new users during purchase"

And the funny thing is people signed up before 2025 can still participate in the public chat sending their chart images and text to each other.

so any user who registered recently can't view the public chat via the chat icon, this is a big problem because we can't share our charts.

This is discrimination, you either make the chat participation unavailable for everybody or not. I will never purchase any tradingview product again let thousands of people know about this.
