Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding it unresponsive, difficult to reach a human, and often unhelpful with issues like account access or technical problems. Customers also frequently report problems with their subscriptions, including unexpected charges, issues with upgrades, and difficulty canceling. The user experience and website functionality were also major sources of frustration, with many encountering data lags, changes to features that negatively impact trading, and issues with chart settings not saving. Some people were dissatisfied with the platform's service, noting that features became paywalled over time and that the basic version lacked essential functions like real-time data. However, some customers also mentioned that the platform itself is good enough for charting and offers many charts and easy-to-use tools.

Good charting; TERRIBLE customer support

I have had an account since 2021 and the customer support has steadily declined. Fortunately, I have not needed it much until Nov. 2025. I have been able to construct my charting and strategies with the help of the many good indicators provided by other users. On Nov. 20, 2025, I found myself suddenly locked out of my account. In order to access customer service, I had to provide a range of information about my account plus a selfie of myself holding a picture ID! I Customer service recommended that I update my primary browser, Opera, or try another browser. I updated Opera and was still locked out. I tried my secondary browser, Chrome, and could access my account, but could not access my saved charts or settings. I tried Firefox on an old Windows 7 box and could access my account and my settings. When I told customer service about my problem with not being able to retrieve my settings when accessing my account on Chrome, they said that I had probably signed into the wrong account on a different device (I have only one account) or accidentally pulled up the wrong layout, which is a deliberate, lazy insult. The customer nonservice person with whom I had been corresponding, Alena Kotelnikova, seemed not the least bit interested in doing anything about my problem and made no attempt to hide her disdain for the customers who pay her salary.

First to do what they do

First to do what they do. Tradingview was the first company and still the best that offered charts on all asset classes. You can use it watch cryptos, stocks, futures and also connect it to your broker.

Awful customer service

Tried to cancel my subscription and got charged again. I reached out through their chat and email multiple times and never heard back from a real person. The AI assistant loops you around with no help. It feels like they don't care about paying customers.

Terrible Customer Support and Arbitrary Card Flagging

I’ve been a loyal TradingView user for years, paying for my monthly plan using the same card without any issues. Suddenly, out of nowhere, my payment was declined because the system flagged my card as a “commercial card,” forcing me to upgrade to a professional plan I never asked for.

What’s worse? Customer support was completely unhelpful. They just repeated the system message and showed zero interest in actually resolving the issue or understanding my situation. No effort, no empathy, nothing.

It’s incredibly disappointing that a platform I’ve supported for so long treats returning users this way. If TradingView can’t distinguish between a genuine user and an arbitrary “commercial” flag, and can’t be bothered to help fix it, it says a lot about their priorities.

I hate it that its IMPOSSIBLE to get human contact. The support area is AI only and ZERO human and a lot of the time the questions have no answers from the AI so my needs cannot be sorted. Disgusting ZERO SUPPORT.

They used to have great support

They used to have great support, but now, I guess they grew too big to give a sh** about user experience. I faced many issues with market data delay, although I've subscribed to the market data package, but still some data were delayed, which affected my trades so much. Wanted to contact their support, and was shocked they no longer have support feature, instead, they're relying heavily on mediocre AI assistance which doesn't help at all.

im looking elsewhere

ended my trial early because i accidentally made a new account when i was signing into my other account. a problem that would be easily resolved were it possible to talk to a real person.

also, random glitches in the software WILL screw you out of trades youve been waiting all day for. its not if but when. use at your own risk

Tradingview papertrade stop updating…

Tradingview papertrade stop updating chart movement for the free accounts. Meaning, not updating the chart, but display the chart from the previous day closing as the last price. I've switched computers and after a couple of days working it stopped updating again. I've opened another account with a different email and after a few days it stopped updating again. There is no solution to this according to tradingview or they are no providing the solution.

Wonder if paid membership doing the same or not.

There is no customer service

It's the little things, like resizing charts, finding indicators, and saving settings that make a charting program easy to use. Each time I go back to tradingview I have to learn these simple things all over again, because either it has been changed, or it wasn't easy to understand from the first time. If you try to find help, I guess it can be done. I used to have a tab bookmarked with a nice guy who used to answer questions. The last time I used tradingview, I got a chatbot

Refund not reviewed

Transaction id:
(GPA.3334-9389-2985-61003)

Date of transaction:
26.10.2025 - 02:35hrs

Amount:
AED 744.99

Reason for refund:
I was subscribed to the annual essentials plan which is AED744.99 on trading view instead of the monthly plan which is AED62.08. Am requesting for a refund so I can subscribe to the correct intended plan but the customer service is unresponsive basically useless. My refund request has been showing received for that password two days it's too sad that such a good platform has the worst customer service.

Platform is useless

After the new policy came into effect, they canceled my current subscription, and I had to buy a new one, but at a much higher price. The price for the basic subscription almost doubled! The basic version of Trading View is unusable for live traders because it lacks basic functions such as real-time data, which makes the entire platform useless.
