Google landed me to traveloka where I was tempted with the option of $80 off in my first booking. I opted to go with the portal since this would help me manage my budget for the new year travel.
There was no option to use the voucher when payment details were to be put up. We ended up getting charged for the whole sum a day prior to arriving at the hotel. When called for help we were told the voucher is only applicable when payment type is not set to pay at the hotel (there was no option as such nor was there the option to put in the voucher code.)

It seems bit misleaging and unethical code of conduct, would not use the service in future.

Traveloka are complicit in fraud along with klarna. Basically they allowed flight tickets to be purchased over 3 months starting in March 2026, the purchases were made by virtual klarna credit cards which were set up, used and then cancelled before another card was set up and the same thing happened. In this case 4 times, these transactions were not made by myself and I did not ask anyone to make these purchases on my behalf

Support guys will never refund you anything even 15$ of vouchers even though the app is buggy and hard to understand what you are booking and in what city you are booking your experience. Highly suggest to stick to established apps

Get to the airport to find out there is a booking error between traveloka and airline. Spend an hour on the phone trying to find to find a solution, still no taking of responsibility. Terrible customer service, no accountability or interest to resolve. How can the agent say just book another flight next available flight is 4 days from now ...Forget the money, these guys don't value your time or your plans.

The flight I booked with Traveloka was cancelled and when I requested a refund they sent an email saying I had until 2300 on the 24th to respond to the email or the request would be denied as per policy. This was less than 24 hrs after I’d initiated the request and was actually received in my inbox more than an hour after the deadline. What a con and crappy business practice. I would strongly recommend against using Traveloka.

Bunch of wankers phoned me saying I needed to make a payment on behalf of on the beach for my last payment

So didn’t think and Paid 340 pounds to a company that had nothing to do with on the beach and my holiday is now canceled after paying nearly 2.2k

DO NOT EVER USE THIS PLATFORM.

A very lousy company if something happens to your booking. The airline rescheduled the origin flight timing and hence it is normal that we receive a complimentary reschedule. This was complimentary reschedule was given to us.

HOWEVER TRAVELOKA HAS A RIDICULOUS 1 HOUR TIME LIMIT FOR YOU TO ACCEPT THE AIRLINE'S CONFIRMATION. Even though you do not need to pay anything, TRAVELOKA will impose a 1 hour time limit for you to confirm your reschedule flights after they "hear back from the airline". Once you miss the 1 hour time limit, your reschedule request will be voided and you have to start all over again.

CALLING THE CALL CENTRE IS USELESS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE A LOT OF TIME AND WANT TO KEEP MONITORING YOUR E MAIL FOR THEIR CONFIRMATION E MAIL FOR A RESCHEDULE FLIGHT.

Otherwise you better hope that nothing happens to your flight, and this is out of your control. Airlines rescheduling/ re-timing their flights is normal, but TRAVELOKA SURE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE THE RESCHEDULE EXPERIENCE MUCH WORSE BY HAVING THE RIDICULOUS 1 HOUR TIME LIMIT. I HOPE THEY GO BUST AND SHUT DOWN.

You are THE WORST Travel Agency EVER!

I saw the price on google flights and went on the site, it was still the same price, until after I entered ALL the information the flight's price nearly double!! Then, I managed to find similar flight with the same price but by the time I paid it was almost DOUBLED as well!

I called literally the minute I found out of how much I was actually charged. I tried calling, someone answered just left a note but didn't get back to me. Tried to e-mail them, message them and no answer, it just went through automated message. HONESTLY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND SOOO UNETHICAL! AVOID IT ALL COST! NEVER USE THIS AGENCY IT'S A SCAM!

I normally do not write reviews but this was genuinely the most abysmal experience I had with a booking agency. Airline rescheduled flight and I wanted to find out about my options for alternate flights and eligibility for refund. Without my permission, the initiated a refund on their end and I was told that I could only receive my refund 90 days later (which is unrealistic considering rival apps take a week a most).

I did not consent to a refund and these people just acted on their own. Customer service lacks reading comprehension skills and is non-existent when I ask them for help. They are arguably the worst travel agency I've ever worked with and I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone. It is not worth the stress and hassle.

Update: Issue was resolved eventually after I persisted to talking to the manager. They originally claimed that they are unable to cancel a refund progress but was able to afterwards (contradiction much?), but this was after hours of phone calls and emails. Take note that they love to give auto-generated replies to buy time for themselves. Just simply insist no and they may take your case more seriously after 3-4 times of explanation.

Agency offered compensation of mere $5 for 7 days of trouble. When I declined and said I will not be returning to this stupid application, they followed up 3 days later with a final compensation of $10! Genuinely the worst possible experience with a booking agency and I suggest using other apps like Trip instead where the service is more responsive and sincere.

When I went to pay they had added 50% of the face price for no discernible reason. And that was after removing the add-ons they added without asking. Very deceptive.

Also the website is absolutely terrible. Happy to have found a better offer and happy to have wasted their time.

Lousy platform. Purchased air flights but the ticket number is untraceable at the airlines official website. Want to reserve seat also available. Others dark blue platform no such problem at all. Only once , won't book again thru this website, won't recommend also.

my flight ticket was cancelled 'by airlines', but I checked direct from the airline website, I still can book directly for the same flight. Then when i request for refund, they send an email saying i need to confirm my request refund before 4pm the same day I made the refund request.then, they cancelled my refund request automatically. I need to start all over again for refund request. Not everyone read their email multiple times in a day!. and your refund request not included the service charge, means you dont get full refund and depends on the 'airline' again for full refund. what the heck, they cancelled the flight but i need to pay?. traveloka refund system is somewhat suspicious and it seems they making money by doing this.

I booked a Cebu Pacific flight through them, and from the moment the payment cleared, everything fell apart. They attached my booking to some random email address I’ve never seen in my life. Even though I received the confirmation, I couldn’t access my own booking through Manage Booking, couldn’t create an account to retrieve it, and couldn’t even add baggage.

Cebu Pacific couldn’t help me because the booking was locked under Traveloka, and Traveloka themselves were absolutely nowhere to be found. Their phone line is a joke — you can’t reach a human without a booking code, and naturally, I couldn’t access the booking code because Traveloka never provided proper access. Their “online support” is a black hole. No portal, no chat, no help whatsoever.

This company is completely incompetent. A pathetic excuse for a travel service. They take your money and then leave you stranded with no way to manage your booking.

Avoid Traveloka at all costs.
They are genuinely the most frustrating, unhelpful, and poorly designed service I’ve ever come across

I don't understand why Traveloka gets so many bad reviews.
I have used Traveloka for most if not all of my travels, especially flights, hotels, and they are extremely reliable with good rates and prices. Their support is good, and I have always been refunded and had my issues solved.

This App is absolutely scam. They hold all my money When I Travel to Saigon. The staff tell us the money will back in 3 to 7 days but now is 1 month. they Scam my ticket and my room and I must Booked new plane ticket and hotel room. It was a truly terrifying experience. Please give back my money

Booked with StayG Sentul when selected ‘Mountain View’ the staffs at Traveloka must be high as where I am standing from my room all I hear is the noises coming from the toll freeway and telecommunications high power microwave towers and some realestate houses roofs. The room I paid is cheap and you get what you paid for. And alas I also booked thru Booking.com for the following week which in non refundable.

This company doesnt care if an unexpected rescheduling needs to happen due to misfortunes. They only care about their bottom line.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

If you have tried over 10 times to reach their customer service in 4 different countries, you will not get them.

Their chat function is a circle jerk with no human behind it.

Will not take any responsibility for their failed services.

My holiday was ruined and they will not take any action to resolve it.

this place is a scam, go to book, fare not availale and they want you to book something else for double the price, dont waste your time
