Travelrefund was supporting me since the beginning of my claim vs the air company. In the first istance the company did not answer . TravelRefund continue to claim and at the end they were able to succed in the request. They were working behind the "scenes" really very hard.

Actually I would give zero! stars. Using travelrefund.com to receive compensation from the airline didn't result in any progress. They keep sending messages that the airline didn*t respond...so nothing actually happens. In contrary..you give them personal information and they are not even able to maintain the data. Currently there was an email that they had an "IT breakdown" and your data...e-mail adress, contact information might have been accessed by some hackers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been almost a year since I applied for compensation, and even though the company received money from the airline a long time ago, they still haven't paid me anything back.
Also, before applying, I asked if it was okay to fill out one application with my co-passenger even though we have separate booking numbers, and I received a positive answer. Guess what? After a year of waiting, they said I should file a separate claim and probably wait another year.
Customer support is terrible, and I barely get any answers. I do not recommend this company since I haven't even received my compensation.
I haven't used travelrefund but the bad reviews about lack of support are usually a red flag , typical for companies who write their own good reviews.

Almost a year, and all they did was send letters to the airline company (if what they said is even true, not like you get proof). This tells me that they're only willing to put in minimal effort. If that wins your money, great. If it doesn't, they won't bother pursuing the case at the court. It's actually infuriating that you can't even go to a different company, because if another company gets you a refund, Travelrefund will demand you pay for their share too. I really, really wish I didn't go with them. I will change the review if there's a positive update.

It takes some time as the airlines are not fond of cooperating but after few months the refund has been transferred. The biggest drawback is time and they take a fee for their service. I would recommend.

After 1 year and a few months, with this company having a lot of back and forth, saying that they were pursuing my case they ended up closing it today saying simply that they cannot pursue this case further and therefore I will not receive any compensation from the airliner although I am 100% entitled to it. I will pursue my compensation with another company and I DO NOT RECOMMEND TRAVEL REFUND.

The only thing is when I did the claim myself, the first offer of the plane company was higher than what we finally received.

This is usless company! 11 months couldn't close simple case worth 400€, They were illude me for 11 months where people from my flight got money after 2 weeks of the flight. Airline didnt want to pay me money sending me to my legal representative which was gues who: TRAVELREFUND. After releasing them from being my representative due to not being able to collect my money, I got my money from the airline after 2 weeks. This is a BIG NO NO! for this company. They blocked my oryginal email as well so I couldn't post my opinion about them.

Unexpected surprise!
I was pessimistic about getting a refund but after ~2 months TravelRefund sent me an email confirming the amount i would get, and after a couple of days the payment was done, good job!
