I bought a tree as a birthday present…
I bought a tree as a birthday present and followed all steps, got a treedom gift-card - but when the recipient used the code on the gift-card, it was planted under my own name and I got all status updates, not him.
Very embarrassing, wouldn't do it again.

When you gift a tree, in its virtual page the name of the person who planted it will always be shown, as well as the name of the recipient.
Therefore you will find the tree in the “Gifted” section of your profile and the recipient will find it between his own trees.
After the gift has been opened, both the gifter and the recipient will receive updates regarding the tree and its agroforestry project.
We remind you that you can opt out of communications in the settings of your Treedom profile.
We confirm that a member of the customer care team has taken over your request and awaits your reply.

It's so nice to plant a tree knowing that it will grow and ultimately help the climate and communities around the world. I've started with a Cashew tree, and my mother will now get an Orange tree as a present.
