We bought a T80i as a direct replacement for a Triton shower that was less than ten years old as the website advised it was a direct replacement. My husband is handy and has changed showers many times before so knows how important that is if pipework etc is not to be adjusted. However we have just found that it is not at all compatible. It's been necessary to reroute both the pipework and electrical connection and in the process damage tiling and the wall the pipework had to be rerouted through.
What would someone who is not electrically qualified as my husband is do in these circumstances? It's not good enough from a well established company.

The help i got when i had to phone in to return item, as it was the wrong one. The staff helped me to go on line and fill in form for refund. The new part was correct the second time of ordering.

We've had 2 triton showers in 4 years. Both leaked from inside the unit dripping from where the front cover meets the back.
Cheap to keep repeat customers.
Avoid at all costs. Buy cheap buy twice now moved to mira

What made the experience second to none on the 14/4/2026 is the quality of communication and support on the phone. I regrettably do not remember the customer support person’s name but they were incredibly helpful and actually got the facia for that model and colour manufactured. They even called back to say it had been done and would be on its way. They went above and beyond my expectations and is an absolute asset to the company.

I usually pay on line to renew warranty, but decided to phone as my WiFi was down.

Bought shower, had leaking head,got them in to fix, would not repair because it had a push on water fitting, but he said it was post to be brass, he was more concerned about getting a £100 off me , offered to change it to brass would of only took 5 mins,but he left after only been there a few minutes, you would think that they sell some faulty showers ,just so they can charge you, so got better brand shower, I will never buy triton shower again.

What could be simpler

I would not recommend Triton Showers based on my recent experience.
I paid an extra £125 for installation and waited eight days for the fitting appointment. When the installer arrived, his attitude was dismissive from the start. We explained that the stopcock was located outside in the grid, but he stated that dealing with it was not part of his job.
He then briefly looked at the shower and claimed he couldn’t fit it because of a supposed issue with a hole nearby — something that has been there for 13 years without ever causing a problem. Within five minutes, he walked out without attempting the installation. No work was carried out, no solution was offered, and no refund was provided.
The following day, we arranged for another company through Checkatrade. They came out, assessed the exact same setup, and fitted the shower quickly and professionally with no issues at all.
This experience was extremely disappointing. It felt like the installer simply didn’t want to do the job, and the lack of accountability or refund is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before paying for installation through Triton.

Very helpful !!!. Got me a replacement sorted for a discontinued unit so we didn't have to adjust any pipework. And it arrived the next day.. Thanks very much 👍
