We were on a city trip for a week and the Tropicfeel shoes didn't let us down for a single moment. Comfortable, lightweight, durable and providing sufficient support for the +20,000 steps we took daily.
My personal experience with customer service was top-notch. The shoes I had bought around New Year's were well past the return period when we gave them as a gift to my son (unworn, of course).
He liked the model, but not the color scheme I had chosen (there are so many options available). After a few emails and photographic evidence, I was allowed to return them free of charge in exchange for a voucher.
Very customer-friendly and reassures the trust!

Bought these trainers after seeing them on Facebook and because a physiotherapist friend follows the brand. I liked the look and price, but they exceeded all expectations.
I usually struggle with toe pain, but these were comfortable all trip—I barely took them off. Even wore them in the mountains and into a slippery spring lake. Swam in them, walked in them, and they dried on my feet with no issues.
Best trainers I’ve ever owned.

Worthless quality and even worse customer service. I ordered waterproof shoes at Tropicfeel. From the moment I got them they hurt my heel (on one side). I didn't immediatly want to return them since this could be a matter of breaking in the shoes. Unfortunatly the pain got worse and even led to bleeding.
I filed a warranty claim during the warranty period and they simply rejected my claim, while the burden of proof is on them. They're hiding behind their policy which contradicts EU law and are not helpful at all. They offer a discount code, but I will never ever buy anything from them again and recommend nobody does. If you receive a faulty product, they will hide behind their policy.
Extremely disappointed with Tropicfeel (Order #630513). They are actively violating Directive (EU) 2019/771 by claiming that 'Refunds are not issued for used products', a policy that has no legal standing for defective goods. Despite my offer to return the shoes for physical inspection, they refused and have since ignored my formal dissolution of the purchase agreement. They act like they are resolving the matter in their public review replies, but in reality, they have gone completely silent. I have escalated this case to the European Consumer Centre (ECC).

Great experience from start to finish! The shoes are very comfortable and feel like excellent quality — you can really tell they’re well made.
The customer service was amazing as well: super responsive, helpful, and very efficient.
I highly recommend!

loved the brand from day 1. Had a delivery issue and was solved in minutes, with correct information and bespoke service. I got my first pair and enjoy it already.

I ordered two pairs of Sunset shoes in UK 5 and 6 as many reviews said they run small. Size 5 was actually perfect so happy with that.
However, came to return the size 6 and have had to pay £8.71 to return them! This is extrortionate (especially given how expensive these shoes are anyway) - I could return these via Royal Mail for about £4. There was an alternative to put the full refund amount plus 12% onto a gift card but I don't know if I'll ever buy these again so a lot of money to leave sat around.
Sorry, Tropicfeel, I won't be buying from you again.

I love their shoes but they are not designed for people who do not have narrow feet. For those who have a larger width foot, you have to buy a larger size which then breaks because the uppers are worn down by toenails. Shame, shame

I have been a loyal Tropicfeel customer and have bought several of their products over the years, including a backpack, flip-flops and shoes. Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing.
The final straw was my Hive backpack. It is only about three years old, and the zipper came off its rails just before the warranty period ended. I submitted a claim, but it was denied. What made this worse was that the response did not even clearly explain which specific ground for denial applied. They simply listed a range of possible reasons (available on their website which I read prior to submitting a claim), leaving me to assume they consider a failed zipper after only three years to be normal wear and tear.
If that is their view, it says a lot about the quality they think customers should expect. A backpack zipper should last longer than three years. I have older bags from other brands that are still in perfectly good condition.
This was not an isolated issue either. The glue on my Tropicfeel flip-flops also failed, and the laces on their shoes did not last long. Taken together, these experiences have left me with the impression that the products may look appealing, but the durability is not there.
To top it off, after denying the claim they offered me a discount code for another purchase. I will not be using it. After several poor experiences, I have no intention of spending more money on products that do not last. I'll probably go for the Mous backpack as it looks sturdy.
In the end, Tropicfeel has lost a loyal customer.

I used to be a huge fan, loved the shoes. This was my fifth order. Never again. The quality got worse every time, shoes fell apart after a week. Customer Service used to be quick and helpful, now, there are only chatbots and missleading answers. Its sad because they used to be my number one shoe brand, but I wouldnt recommend them anymore.

I have purchased 2 pairs of shoes from Tropicfeel, and unfortunately both are out of inventory, and Tropicfeel offered me to exchange, getting credit and additional voucher, or electing to have a refund. Both cases the Customer Loyalty Team (especially Shy) has helped working with me both times to exchange the pairs of shoes I would like to have in exchange for the 2 original pair of shoes I ordered. What is especially great about Tropicfeel and The Customer Loyalty Team were they really proactive and responsive once I reached out. Both pairs I purchased with a promotion was about $42, the 2 exchanged pair of shoes were at least $83 to $101. Although I didn't get the 2 pairs I intended to purchase (I purchase to replace the pairs I bought couple years ago), I came back with the 2 new pairs that are nice and different styles that my wife and I both really like them. Thank you Shy and Tropicfeel for working with me on this purchase. This is what a good service and customer oriented company should be.

Unbelievable lack of customer care.
Second time they sent some trainers somebody used for more than a month, dirty, knackered…
Never again.

Purchased a pair of tropicfeel trainers from John Lewis. After two weeks the lace stop fell off whist walking and lost.
I contacted John Lewis to get the stop replaced. After 10 phone calls from JL to Troocfeel they gave up.
I asked JL to stop selling this brand as their customer services is useless, unless you buy direct
Update
That reply to me was absolutely no use what so ever to me and shows how useless your customer service department is

A seam on my Hive backpack came undone. After I sent a complaint and a few photos to Tropicfeel, they refunded the full cost of the backpack in the form of a gift card. Excellent service—I’m very satisfied.
Kudos and thanks to the Tropicfeel team.

"I wish I had checked these Trustpilot reviews before ordering. Like many others here, I am now facing a nightmare with their returns process.
I returned a pair of travel shoes (ordered March 18, 2026) using the retailer's provided return service. After my refund was processed, the company contacted me claiming they received pieces of scrap clothing instead of the shoes, effectively accusing me of fraud.
The 'evidence' they sent actually proves my innocence:
1. The Tamper Proof: The photos they provided show the parcel sealed with clear packing tape. I did not use any tape, as I used the mailing bag's self-adhesive strip and black cling film.
2. Security Breach: Somewhere between the Post Office and the retailer, the parcel was opened, the shoes were stolen, and it was resealed with clear tape.
3. Investigation : I have pointed out that there was obvious physical tampering in their own photos, rather blaming me they should investigate their courier (Evri).
This company's low Trustpilot score is clearly earned. They seem to have a systemic issues ,they would rather gaslight their customers than take responsibility for their own supply chain security.
Case: I have reported this to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards.
Think twice from ordering with this company." Let this be a red flag to others."
UPDATE 7th April :-
They are still insisting that i send the shoes back and not willing to accept that the issue is now “legally “ with them and EVRI.
Citizen’s advice have given me some good legal and consumer rights advice , i have also filed a police(Action Fraud) report.
This will be a continuation…..
UPDATE 23/04/2026: Despite Tropicfeel replying here to 'regret the frustration,' they have ignored my formal legal notice and police report for over two weeks. They have failed to provide any evidence to counter the fact that their own photos show the parcel was tampered with (clear tape added) in transit. Their 'sincere regret' on this platform is clearly just PR damage control, as they refuse to clear my name privately. Avoid this company if you value honest customer service."

I bought a pair of Tropicfeel All-Terrain HDry Waterproof Trainers through John Lewis but the order was fulfilled directly by Tropicfeel. About 5 weeks after wearing them for 2/3 days a week while at work one of the lace caps came off (it had already shown signs of movement early on so tried to keep an eye on them). When the lace cap comes off the lace starts to come out of the hoops and the elastic is too short to try and tie the laces old school style.
I contacted Tropicfeel for a replacement lace cap as it happed while I was out and about walking so couldn't find it to stick it back on. They said that they didn't stock replacement lace caps and the only option was to contact the vendor for a full replecement.
Unfortunately John Lewis no longer stock their trainers (maybe because of this issue?) so the only option I have is to exchange them for a different brand of shoe.
Shame that such a minor design flaw has undermined the experience of the show. It could be remedied by buying a no-tie lace product from a third party but for the money that shouldn't be necessary.

I like Tropicfeel’s innovative products. Especially the clothing and backpacks. Their customer support has always been able to help me quickly and competently whenever I’ve needed it.
The only thing I find a bit of a hassle is the return policy. Returns (not exchanges!) aren’t free (at least in Germany). If you’re unsure about the size, that’s not very customer-friendly—other stores handle this better.

Super easy to place returns. The staff communicate well and quickly. The products themselves are fabulous. I love all my gear.

Horrible service & bad product.
After 3 months, 10 mails, finally a reaction from a person, after 20 mails still no resolution for my problem. 3 year warranty, but with the product flaw they just say it is not covered because: wear and tear. I used the bag for two trips, total of 50 days, within those days most of the time it was in a room or hostel. They keep saying they understand, but then try to bandage the pain with a 20% discount code in their own shop..

Have been raving about Tropicfeel for a few years, very comfy shoes. Just want to add that the Customer Service is speedy and super helpful as well!
