Quick delivery. Ideal for use as a Pay-As-You-Go phone but not as a Smartphone. The keypad has grey buttons instead of black so the lower contrast with the numbers might be a problem for senior people... See more

The phone was great for my elderly father. Easy to setup. However the battery stopped charging after only a couple of months. Tried charging at home but nothing worked. Didn’t want to risk another battery failing so the phone is now sat on my desk not being used. A shame really because it gave my Dad contact with me when I couldn’t visit.

The phone is cool is just the battery life isn’t that good, I have a Nokia 2660 and that phone lasts for 5-7 days
Unfortunately Whatsapp *will* stop working on this phone after about a week for you. It's something to do with security on Meta's end but whatever version of Android the TT 280 is on fails a check after about a week. I wish I had known this sooner.
Not easy to swap data even though it's supposed to have Bluetooth could not copy address book the large phone chip a nightmare to fit not impressed

I needed 8 emergency phones for DofE expeditions that were simple, sturdy and functional for the purpose phones were originally designed for. No frills, no fancies just honest and basic. They do the job perfectly.

I bought the TT970 for my 11 year old son now he's started secondary school. We didn't want to give him a full smart phone but wanted him to be able to have access to WhatsApp so he can stay in touch with friendship groups. The phone turned out to be absolutely perfect in this regard. It's not a seductive or compelling screen so he doesn't spend any time on it, but it has all the functionality he needs to stay in touch with friends. With a lot of schools banning smartphones and a lot of parents trying to uphold smartphone free childhood I highly recommend this phone as an alternative. TTfone should be marketing this phone for this use as well - there are a lot of parents who would be very interested in it.

I was looking for a basic phone, easy to use, for an elderly relative. The TT100 fitted the bill, especially with its cradle charger.
There was a problem with the first phone, which had very poor battery life. TTfone could not have been more helpful and I had a replacement phone within a few days.
1 or 2 quibbles with the operation of the phone; ring tone settings are a bit hard to find and probably over-complicated for basic use. Screen unlock brings up an 'empty' error message sometimes. The instructions don't cover all the phone's features.
For a basic phone it seems fine.

Dear TTfone
I thought I should take a moment to say a HUGE THANK YOU for resolving the issue that Mr H had with his phone that I assisted him with. The replacement phone is working well and a 32Gb SDcard has been installed to expand capability. Too often people complain but never take the the time to recognise when a company has exceeded expectations. Yes it would have been better, for you as a supplier and "us" as a customer, not to have had any issue with the phone. Sometimes, things just go wrong. What defines GREAT COMPANIES from the crowd is HOW, when things go wrong, they correct and deal with the imperfect issues in life we all face. I have been thoroughly impressed with the dealings I have had with TTfone and how you have dealt with this issue.
I think you should be very proud of yourselves and I wish your company further market success in the future as caring companies, like yours, deserve to prosper.
Thank you again

The item was received well packed within 48 hours of ordering, hence the 5 stars for excellent service.

Great little phone, but screen is too blurry for those with limited sight and the unavailable lanyard for this phone is not helpful.

I recently bought a TTFone T280 directly from TTFone having spent a lot of time researching which handset(s) would meet my needs.
Firstly the website is well laid out, making selecting a phone easy. I like that there is a range of purchase options to suit the individuals requirements (charging cable only/with 3 pin adaptor/with charging dock)
There was a pre-launch offering place so I managed to get the phone for 59.99 instead of the RRP of 79.99. I paid for express shipping so the total price was closer to 64.00.
I used the websites chat feature a few times ahead of purchase and the agent(s) responded quickly and answered all my questions regarding availability and shipping. They also advised that a case for the phone was soon to be available and offered to alert me as soon as it was.
I expected a 2-3 day wait for the handset as I ordered it at 4pm vs before 2pm for next day delivery. Imagine my surprise when not an hour later I received an email from Royal Mail with a tracking number advising me my phone would be with me the NEXT DAY!
When the phone arrived I was immediately convinced I'd made the right descision. This isn't the phone I'd give my wife, she's very savvy with these sort of things where as I prefer a more simple phone in the traditional candy bar form. I was taken aback by the build quality and overall look and feel of the phone.
Features I love
- Candy bar format with numerical keypad
- Android Go allowing for app dowloads, email and browsing (YouTube on the bus ride to work is a real treat)
- USB-C! As a long time feature phone user, the addition of a USB-C input alone would have made this worth the purchase price. No more packing a Micro-USB lead everytime I go out, I now have one cable for my tablet, phone and Bluetooth headphones. Pop a decent powerbank in your bag and you're all set for an adventure!
- WiFi hotspot. Again, this feature alone makes the phone game changer. I can now connect my tablet to my phone and watch Youtube, download apps etc. And send email on a larger screen.
-Touchscreen. This is a mixed bag. I miss T9 predictive text however am getting used to how the touchscreen and keypad work together.
Font and rear camera(s) - I'm loving using Messanger to video call my wife on break, the upgrade from a VGA camera to a megapixel one is again a game changer for a feature phone.
You can probably already tell I love my new phone! Would this suit a poweruser? No, and I feel it is perhaps a departure for TTFone in that as a seniors phone it is perhaps a little too smart.
For the growing sect of users looking to downgrade from IOS or Samsung handsets and spend ore time in the real world then this is then this handset is the perfect balance of dumb and smart. I'd say this is the "Golidlocks" of phones for this user group.
I would not hesitate to recommend TTFone to a friend or colleague. The buying process from start to finish as excellent. The delivered item exceeded my expectations and I'm confident that if any issues ever do arise I', an email or phone call away from getting help or support.
A+ 10/10 All around.

Works well and a good price. Am considering getting their tablet.
Arrived very quickly. Easy to set up by an IT competent person and easy for my elderly relative to use. So far so good.
