An easy basic phone but I find the sound a little tinny. This phone bought for someone with memory issues so I could have done without missed call feature and answer phone as they just cause confusion have managed to turn both off.

The phone was sent promptly so no problem but the user manual was a bit hard to understand. I am 79 yrs old and didn’t even know how to use the phone by flicking the screen sideways. I went into a tech shop to get some help. These manuals assume you know but that’s what they’re for, to teach.

Good basic phone. Big buttons. I bought this for my (80 y/o) Mum. Interface is similar to a Nokia 6210, just missing the snake game. Battery life is about 5 days. Earpiece speaker is OK, mic is good. Camera is not good, super basic. You can install a micro sd card the ROM is small.
You are not buying this phone for looks, you are quite possibly buying as it is cheap & is brilliant for your elderly parents.

I ordered a TT970 phone from the website. The transaction was easy and the order was shipped the same day and delivered in two days. The online video instructions were useful and a minor criticism is that the video/instructions for inserting the micro SD card weren't very clear. I almost broke the flap before realising that I needed to slide it before flipping it outwards. This small detail could have been made more apparent.
Setting up WhatsApp was also more difficult than expected. It needed to be updated on set-up but it took several attempts before I was able to do so successfully. The text size in WhatsApp is also too small, and I had expected a simplified interface, but it looks similar to the standard interface on my Android phone. I had hoped to use WhatsApp for calls, but the interface is too clunky for that to be easy.
I was also disappointed that there is no physical speaker button on the keypad, and the on-screen button is very small. This phone is for my elderly parents who prefer to use the speaker, and I have noticed that they have on occasions pressed the 'hold' button which is underneath, by mistake.
I like the convenience of the charging cradle and the fact that you can see photos/pictures of whoever's calling when the phone is closed.

Brilliant little simple phone for my elderly mum

Order placed for TTfone TT140 Red Flip Folding Phone on 30/5/25. Phone received but the battery would not charge, so the phone was faulty in some way. Tried to contact them at their email address. No reply. Returned the phone by post on 9/6/25. Emailed again, no reply. Tried to contact TTfone on 19/6/25 at 0330-333-0819. All operators busy!! It's a scam. TTfone sends out dud kit, and you forget getting in touch with them and a refund.

i bought there tt970 phone because i wanted it for the internet and whattsapp now beginning to wish i had never seen the load of chinese rubbish i cannot connect to the internet wich means no whatsapp cant even set the clock and customer service is about as useful as a ashtray on a motorbike the only thing i have not tried is throwing the load of rubbish in the bin but that is where it is going to end up £100 down the drain

Bought this for my husband who isn’t in to the fancy singing dancing phones, just wanted something straightforward & he is delighted with it. Easy to understand & set up etc.
