Tune tunein out. You can start out for free, and then it’ll be commercial commercial commercial. It’s like watching network television. Intolerable. Almost any station that you listen to through TuneIn you can download and stream direct commercial free. Bypass tune in. Tune them out.

Appalling app. Used to be great. Now just money making bullshhiit. 30second advert every time I change station and sometimes pauses during the advert so have to press button again. Shhiitt-box app

Unreliable and inconsistent and consistently unreliable. I really want to like Tunein more, but it cuts out multiple times a day and I can't even begin to trust it. When it works it's great, but when it doesn't it's frustrating...and I'm getting frustrated alot lately. It'll cut out 6-7 times a day on average. Not what I want to deal with.

I have used this app for years to listen to the radio as I'm a radio presenter. This year they took 90 pounds from my account for a premium service which I never ordered or used. They took the money from my google pay account and when I claimed it back they said it was too late. I have reported it to my Amex credit card company who tried to argue it but without success. Now I'm having to complain through the ombudsman. It may be a google pay fraud but Tunein got my money and have refused to return my calls or refund my money. Without legal intention to purchase this service this is actually FRAUD.

I use through Sonos: it reverts immediately to 2 minutes of drivel adverts whenever I tune to a commercial station: SIMPLES turn the volume to zero for that time. Appalling and doesn’t cover what you want either.

Tried many times to contact TuneIn to get them to include BBC HD radio stations. No response, no action. Terrible customer service.

Great idea and works (more or less) in most cases.
I love using a one place to listen to different radio stations and even podcasts. Variety and quality is here.

Implementation, though, lacks quite a bit.
There are problems on WWW seeking through some podcasts.
It's not possible to fast switch between favorites. There are always needed additional actions, like going back and scrolling through the list, again and again.

Mobile app used to have a recording option, which got removed globally at some point.

Terrible support.
People (are they people?) at the support don't read with understanding and send back all the time generic messages that assume that I am an idiot, apparently.

Tunein pro app was able to delete my previously recorded non copyright product info from my tablet even though I did not update the app and had the permission turned off. A check of their reviews will show other tune in pro subscribers were also ripped off

After UK block of overseas radio stations, Google home hub became a brick. You failed more than just a court battle. Sony should've lost. I wish Sony bankruptcy with their PS5 please please.
