Very buggy. Frequently crashes and TV guide doesn't work so you can never see what's on.
Unfortunately don't have an ariel so this is the only option I can find to watch live tv

This would be a great app , if only it worked properly.
Constantly freezes , buffers , drops out and crashes.
Makes you go through the exhausting login procedure over and over again.
Why can't you fix it TV Player???

think its already been said, pile of rubbish

When it works it's good. Unfortunately it hardly ever loads properly (on firestick). It takes about 3 tries....after hanging. Literally takes 3-4 minutes to get working. I used to pay for it but stop a couple of months ago. Now I'm stopping altogether given schedules don't appear for most channels. I'm looking forward to a copy and paste response from them. That's not acceptable. People want then to acknowledge they have problems with some reasoning and what they are doing to alleviate them.

For a free APP this is pretty good. It seems to work more fluidly when your Firestick is super clean BUT why o why is it constantly missing the schedule list? ITV, C4, 5, BBC4, Quest, Dmax, Discovery and so on and so on there is ZERO program information SO FRUSTRATING. I've done and factory reset on firestick, re-downloaded TVPlayer etc and still no change

Disgraceful, I’ve been subscribed to this for at least 18 months, now today I’m being asked to subscribe again to watch selected channels. My subscription is live and up to date. Theft.

Absolutely useless, and even worse since the update! Constant freezing and dropping out but now, since updated version, can't even get access most of the time. Most frustrating app ....ever!

Paid for the plus service but when you go to on demand it does work money taken for nothing. Using nvidia shield

not a very good app , made even worse since the update.. by having to log in every time you load it , also side bar menu hops back to bbc1 meaning a lot of scroling ,also missing "on next" which was on the older version also has moments of freezing or not loading at all , pop up pestering to subscribe is annoying, personally its taken a step backwards

Xbox One App Review:
The whole app works perfectly fine, a great alternative to freeview/live tv for a house without an aerial, great picture quality and audio on the live steaming service.
There are free channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and more) and there is a subscription with a handful of paid channels (History, Discovery, TLC, Lifetime HD and more) and an on demand feature for those paid channels too.
Overall a great app I would recommend for anyone who struggles with no aerial/ bad aerial reception and would like to watch a selection of freeview channels live on their Xbox One.
Great customer service too, I had a problem with the app (ITV did not stream at first) and it was sorted out extremely quickly via the TVPlayer support team
If you run the app on the Xbox One make sure you email the TVPlayer support team with your postcode to ensure every channel runs correctly or go through their help centre web page

Can’t watch on demand on Fire Stick. Waste of my time really and waste of a free trial that won’t turn into a paid subscription sorry!

Fire stick app still not working - their support has says update will be released this week for 2 weeks now

Crap since the last update
On apple tv box, ruined the ease of navigation.. prompted to log in virtually everytime... double sound streams playing at once ... looses picture/freezing frequently ... just broken... developers should be shot for breaking what was a good app

The app promised over 40 free to view channels so I took the bait and installed it. To find that of the 40 channels displayed on my screen over half are coming up saying my plan does not cover it. About 9 will actually work. So even free to view channels you could get on freesat or freeview do not come up. Promptyly u installed this rubbish app

Terrible app
Constantly having to log in
Channels freeze, jump, lose sound, or completely switch off
I have never used such an awful TV player in my life
Thanks a lot apple for lumbering us with this...

For some reason lately you have to sign in EVERY time - what a pain - mainly because once you have signed it nothing actually works. I refuse to subscribe just to watch TV live whilst working on my PC - be cheaper and more reliable to just buy a cheap small screen TV. Well outdated against all other free models available.

This outfit were poor in the past, now they are useless. One cannot watch any channel. All channels seem to be loading all the time.Sorry this is not quite accurate. One channel had sound but no picture. The reviews are 24% excellent -the last was as long ago as January- against 50% bad and poor -the last a couple of days ago. These numbers tell us a lot.If they carry on like this it will be a matter of time before they fold up.
I never had a problem until recently! I have to constantly sign in and it’s driving me mad!! I’ve emailed but have had no response.
