Won’t ever use this uber eats again…

Won’t ever use this uber eats again they’re rip offs ! The amount of times there’s been issues is ridiculous but today ordered on a well known app Uber covered the delivery was watching the map & courier kept going round in circles so I texted got a stupid generic reply texted again same thing so called his phone - he didn’t answer. Went to the restaurant they couldn’t help as my order apparently got delivered & uber deals with delivery issues.

I have a camera full circle covering the road outside also my apartment has a recorded intercom. The Uber driver came no where near. Even after sending proof to Uber chat to three different people also the texts & call that didn’t get answered screenshots they said sorry as driver tried to deliver we can’t refund. They enjoy saying no I’m sure. Pretty sad service especially in these trying times.

People either ought to not use these companies so they lose out the same way as us the customers do.

It’s disgusting especially when customers prove the Uber driver came no where near. I contacted the head of the company I purchased from not uber & they kindly provided me with almost three times more than the amount spent in vouchers & was also appalled at the reviews on here.

It’s a scam thry don’t provide proof of delivery either which is paramount so I really think it is a scam especially as there’s only 1 stars on here / that says it all. I won’t ever use Uber eats again I’ve actually deleted my account & had two months left in uber one. Id rather literally starve than get more stress because it always is stress. Sort it out uber I wonder what the USA reviews are in comparison to the UK ?
Seriously feel sorry for every customer on here we’re all wasting energy & time because a huge company has no care for customers. Seriously do not use them in future that be the best thing to do as no one got money to throw away.

Complete rip off !!!
Food delivered over an hour late and was completely cold.
No help from online support who refused to cancel and charged the full amount.
Items were missing from the order and Uber wouldn't refund the amount of the missing items.
Food was delivered on a bicycle ! Uber is a car taxi company ! why is my food being delivered on a bicycle ?
Why am i paying for food delivered late, delivered cold or not delivered at all ?????
Complete rip off. DO NOT USE !!!!!

Horrible experience, poor communication

Horrible experience, you are on your own if something happens, i ordered food, i made a note and clear address where to send it, the driver didnt even go down the right street but the one next, all of a sudden "delivered"... i rang him no answer, rang me back then hung me up, tried calling back several times and complete ignore, no photo proof nothing, customer service is non existent on uber eats, no number to ring to, no email, nothing, i got a feedback saying my refund request was rejected because the driver was at pinpoint, rang and waited 2 mins, excuse me but that is not a strong arguement to be having, they said the policy for "leave at door" is different, basically blaming me for the problem, if that's the case, the driver should provide a photo or something to prove it was delivered their, ridiculous, i was begging for refund, only after 3 hours of fighting i got money back, gonna go back with just eat.

Unresolved Refund After Non-Delivery and Complete Lack of Response

It has now been four days since I raised this matter, and I am still awaiting a refund for items that were not delivered. Despite sending multiple messages, I have received no response. This is particularly concerning given that I was explicitly assured I would be contacted within 6 to 12 hours.

Please be advised that this continued lack of communication and failure to resolve the issue promptly is unacceptable. If this matter is not addressed without further delay, I will have no choice but to pursue formal action to recover the outstanding amount.

UPDATE: It's now been 10 days. Lawyer has been contacted.

Uber eats charge people 499 every single month without their knowledge which is happened to me. I checked my bank statements and there was each month charge £4.99 every month I did request my refund by not answering me please people just report him as a fraudulent and I will do the same thank you

Will NEVER order from ubereats again.

Ordered a huge combo deal from Burger King.
Only 2 whoppers and 2 fries were delivered. What was missing : 2 large fries, Hamburger, Cheeseburger, nuggets and chilli cheese bites.

Burger King wouldn't answer the phone. No contact number for Ubereats. Just an email that said said contact within 48 hours.
How does that help me when I've ordered dinner for 4 people and most of it isn't here??
Highly suspect delivery driver kept a 2nd bag for himself containing all the other items.

Ordered food via their app, the food came stone cold wrote to uber to let them know, they advised that this is inline with their policies.
Stick with just eat who value their customers.
Very poor customer services.

Shocking service from Uber eats


I am writing this to warn others about the declining quality of service and the frustratingly rigid refund policies held by Uber Eats and McDonald's.
​I recently placed an order through the McDonald's app that was fulfilled by Uber. The experience was a failure from start to finish.
The driver was assigned other stops along the way, causing my food to sit in transit far longer than necessary.
When the order finally arrived, the food was stone cold and entirely inedible.
​To make matters worse, items were missing from the order.
​The most disappointing part of this experience was the response from customer service. My request for a refund was denied on the basis that the delivery was made within a "specified timeframe." This is an unacceptable justification. Delivering an incomplete and cold meal "on time" does not constitute a successful service.
​It is clear that the current support system relies on automated scripts rather than addressing genuine service failures. As a result of this experience, I will no longer be using the McDonald's app or Uber Eats. Furthermore, out of principle, I will be discontinuing my use of Uber’s ride-sharing services.
​If you value your money and expect basic customer service, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Scam artists that don't adhere to consumer law

Placed an order for a burrito bowl type item. The way this is structured on the app is you pay for the item and all of the customisable elements like rice, beans, meat, salsa, etc. are zero cost. I ordered a particular salsa with mine and when I started eating the dish I realised this was missed and not included in my order despite me having ordered it and it being on the receipt on the bag that was stamped to say it was checked. I contacted uber eats about this and they told me because it was zero cost they couldn't offer a refund. I wasn't even looking for a refund but some kind of partial refund or something to make things right. I opened up another ticket to state the same issue and explain to them that this is not in line with the consumer rights act. I also explained that the salsa missing from this item is a key component of the dish that adds flavour, it's the same as if the meat was missing or if you had pasta without sauce - this is not like a packet of ketchup missing with fries. They tried to fob me off by asking for a picture of the receipt and another picture of the item, and then just closed the ticket saying it was already closed before by another agent as ineligible for refund (it was the same agent!). I wrote back to ask what their escalation or formal complaint policy was and I got no reply as they'd closed the ticket. Abhorrent customer service and won't ever be using them again. Have reported them to trading standards since they don't operate within the law. Should have looked at their ridiculously low rating on trustpilot to know I'm not the only one and they do this to a lot of their customers. It also seems all too convenient and crafty to try to get out of refunding people by setting things up as zero cost when they are key parts of the item. Did a chargeback with my credit card provider for the full amount instead given uber didn't want to resolve things the right way and just close tickets with no ability to respond to them, this went through instantly. If uber had just done the right thing they wouldn't have needed to refund me the full amount and I would not be put off using them again; they've lost out on all the cash for the order now and a customer.

* SCAM - MUST READ AND BE CAREFUL *

After spending thousands of pounds and giving tips constantly on the application uber eats.

I was shocked to see how they treated me as a loyal customer for there own negligence.

I ordered from a new store of which Uber Eats pushed out to me called "popeyes" of which i set my area to St.Helens assuming this was the correct store.

2 hours later I discover the store is actually based in liverpool , to not be delivered food in that timescale or even any attempt of contact to say there was any problems with my order in regards to this.

Uber eats took my cancellation request BUT gave no prior warning / fee amounts to what they was going to take for a cancellation fee which was a WHOPPING 90% of the order value totalling £22.50.

The couriers made no attempt to warn / restaurant also no attempts to contact and the food was not delivered in the TIME as clearly stated "40 minutes".

Uber eats, should also NOT be recommending food places outside of my area unless i set my preferences to this aka WHO orders from places where there is no chance your food will arrive hot.

Absolutely disgusting customer service closing down the windows / offering no resolution basically just saying "F U" we don't care that you have been a customer for years absoluteley now realise while they have such a poor rating and poor trading standards they need to be fully reported for this especially taking fees with NO CONSENT to do so,

Uber Eats: Where Customer Service Goes to Die

I have held Uber Eats credit for some time, given to me by my employer as an incentive. A few months ago I attempted to use it and immediately ran into difficulties. I raised a support ticket, and what followed was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. The amount of back and forth was extraordinary, and in the end I simply gave up.
Recently I decided to try again. I wish I hadn't.
Every time I ask a question, my case is placed on hold "pending my reply" — despite the fact that no one has told me what reply they are waiting for. It is clearly just a tactic to avoid responding.
I eventually threatened legal action, which did prompt a near-immediate response. Unfortunately it was entirely unhelpful and did nothing to resolve my issue. When I raised this, my case was put on hold again — three or four times in succession.
I then mentioned small claims court, and again received a response. The fact that legal threats are the only thing that gets this company to engage says everything you need to know.
This is completely unacceptable. Avoid this company.

If I could give no stars or minus stars I would have ! Within a minute after I discovered that I made the wrong order. I have phoned immediately to cancel the order however the lady -Jan or Jen or something held me on the line for about 10 minutes just to tell me they will cancel the order but won’t give me a refund because the order is already dispatched. Pathetic service

My 5 year and her friends could do a better job!
Ordered from Ubereats, I felt like that was a mistake already but we're all housebound as not well.
The delivery driver was on a push bike so surprise, surprise the drinks spilled and soaked through the bag. The guy just handed it to my other half, no apology or how to complain.
Then if that wasn't bad enough we find out our order is completely screwed up. A wrap that's supposed to have no egg in with a label stating 'NO EGG' on it, had egg it in. It's lucky none of us are allergic. That's a real health hazard as you'd trust the label.
We were also given a double sausage egg McMuffin instead of a cheesy bacon flatbread but even THAT was wrong as it wasn't double. Then we have to complain via Ubereats and all they do is issue a refund.
Oh and not only that, you also have to pay for the privilege of it being delivered but I don't get that back do I?!
How about you actually fix the real problems MacDonalds and Ubereats?! Total joke

Uber a scam

last couple of weeks every single order late more than 2 hours. Driver disappeared from the app while going to collect the order. Today again even after paid for priority delivery service charge more than 2 hours late. No contact number for support staff only chat. Told to wait until 7.23 max. Thought order was placed around 5:30. Nobody came. Asked again over chat to an agent said wait more time. I delete account. Done with this drama.

I made a mistake believing this would…

I made a mistake believing this would be a good service.
I ordered using the app at 4pm with a scheduled delivery time of 7pm. The app was showing the driver was only 7 minutes away but they were not moving. I tried to message the driver and call the driver but there was no response.
The order had been picked up 80 minutes prior and when I contacted uber eats they could not confirm where the driver actually was even after the order being over an hour late.
Absolutely pathetic service.
Do not use….ever.
