A total scam - avoid

Sent in a perfectly good iPhone. Was quoted £200 trade-in value. Heard nothing. Contacted them, they asked for proof of postage. Sent it to them. Three months later, and endless emails, they are "still investigating".

Customer service is based out of India

Customer service is based out of India

There is a complete disconnect from where your phone is sent and the actual customer service

There is a way to contact them on the phone and they start to panic because you've come through the wrong number which is not acceptable.

I would highly recommend doing your trade in at a UK Apple store with a UK rep with a real face.

My phone was never sent back after I…

My phone was never sent back after I rejected the trade in offer, despite telling me they would when I chase it up. My husband accepted the trade in offer but never received funds. Complete scam, don’t use! I will be letting Apple know they should not be recommending this company for trading in old Apple products.

Scammers

Whichever apple device you send to them, they will downgrade your estimated reimbursement to 0£.
Completely useless at the phone and via email.
Horrible treatment and shame on Apple for using their services.

Poor service, suspicious findings.

Similar experience to RK in his review on 5th December. My Apple Watch Ultra is in perfect working order, I used it barely a week ago. Reset it, powered it off, powered it on to check it was cleared down, all fine. Powered off and posted. Today I get a revised price of £0 on the basis it will no power on. I wonder if these guys even know how to turn it on!

You expect the official Apple trade in to be more reputable than 3rd parties but my experience with Musicmagpie et al has been very good, and three experiences with Likewize average at best, and this one poor and frankly, dishonest.

Smells like a scam…

Very very sketchy company… wanted to trade in my apply watch and apple website redirects me to them. The posting kit took ages to arrive. I posted the watch as soon as it finally came through. RoyalMail provided proof of delivery within 2 days. Likewize failed to register receipt and started sending me chaser emails reminding I needed to send it to them. they then claimed the watch did not power up and reduced the quote to £0. I literally took the watch off my wrist before I posted it and it was working flawlessly. I.e., they are simply lying. I have now requested for them to return my watch which I doubt they will do or if they do, I expect my impeccable until recently watch to be in a poor condition.
going forward, I’ll deal with Apple directly in the store.
Avoid these scammers!
