UK Departure Boards LTD Reviews 

I was extremely impressed with the Pro Departure Board I recently ordered and received, along with many of my other Classic and Desktop Departure Board versions I ordered and received in the past. The setup process was easy and straightforward, plus the setup process was completed in less than a minute. In my opinion, it's a huge improvement over the previous system of faffing around with SD cards!

The reason I gave UK Departure Boards a rating of the maximum of 5 stars, is that I'm amazed regarding about how the designs of the departure boards and the software used have improved over the years.

To make my experience with UK Departure Boards even more worthwhile in the not too distant future, I would personally suggest that you produce a second announcement voice pack, featuring a male person's voice, for the rail tab section of the board configuration app, so I can assign each railway platform with a variety of announcement voices. In other words "Similar to the Tube, each railway station would have a variety of announcement voices, when each service is announced".

Overall, it was well worth the extra cost!

Echoing all the other, thoroughly deserved, positive reviews! Went for the medium sized board as a surprise Christmas present for my son. It's fantastic. Really configurable via an intuitive web based app. We did need a bit of support which was provided swiftly and got us up and running with no stress. I was a little nervous about spending quite so much on this but so glad I did. My son loves it and tinkers with the settings. Confident of being brilliantly supported if I need any help in the future.

It's a very good Equipment and a good outstanding features to it too

The product is exactly what a transport enthusiasts need, all be it you do have to pay a subscription but is it worth it for the realism?
Yes because now I have announcements to go off at my local train station in my very own room and a little neat feature to include more than just trains but buses, trams and TFL (Tube).

It is a neat idea, I have a large full size one. However their control panel hasn't been updated in years, their boards use outdated names, such as including T1 in Heathrow T2 & 3, and their control panel -still- references an API that was, in their own words, disused since 2021. These are simply a rip-off for the fans. You can get the LED panels off AliExpress, and a cheap Raspberry Pi or similar, and the APIs are available ranging from cheap to free, especially for your own project.

The departure boards are unique and amazing. I’d go as far as saying they are a piece of art, as well as being practical. They will mesmerise any visitor. Equally importantly, the customer service is second to none. I had a couple of minor teething problems and Russell could not have been more helpful. It’s fair to say his service is the best I have ever had. Exceptional. A lot of love has gone into building and maintaining these boards and it shows. Thank you

Amazing Christmas present for my husband. He's very happy with this and on telling a work colleague about it the work colleague also bought one.
I'm glad I was in to receive this as the packaging was very obvious as to the contents and could easily have spoilt the surprise.

Fantastic products for any rail enthusiast, and excellent quick customer service if you need it. That said, the products are extremely reliable so you most likely won't!

I think my departure board is great. I use it every time I need the train to go up to the office!

Bought as a combined birthday and Christmas present for our grandson. He absolutely loves it.

I've always loved trains and follow up a number of train YouTube accounts. The UK Departure Board popped up on one of their videos and I knew I had to have one for Christmas! Next thing was to get my wife to agree that the best place for it was in the lounge and not just tucked away in my man cave.
I went for the mid sized "Classic" and it's perfect. An easy to control web interface on my phone means I can change the look, the stations and messages etc.
Release your inner geek. You won't regret it! :-)

What can I say a fantastic experience from start to finish. Love my departure board it sits with pride in my living room and amazes everyone who comes round saying how unique it is to have in the living room. The board has been done a great job in showing the status of the train which blends in the actual station board with some everyday life information. It is helpful for me to know the status and news before I gotta work. The support response is fast and helpful. I hope there will be better integration of bus stops and with more mode choices in the audio announcement time.
