My initial interactions with UK Retirement Rentals have been very positive so far. It seems that Samantha is the main person dealing with the public and potential clients. She has been very helpful in the first week of my dealings with her, I must say. Many of the comments on Trustpilot so far are about interactions with her though - not so much about how existing clients find the company and the way that they are treated once taking the plunge and renting a property.
I'd like to see a bit more information on their website. The company was set up in 2019 and so is 5 years old now. There is only the very barest of information in the 'About Us' section. One thing I would feel more reassured about as a potential renter is what happens if the company goes bust, for example? Also who regulated them? The ombudsman's logo is shown at the bottom of the page but nothing is said about all that side of things. For example, what's to stop them putting up the rents each year beyond the rate at which pensions go up? Is there anyone independent who helps to decide what is a fair rent. This kind of information what be very useful and reassuring .

Out of the blue we received a call some 6 months later stating they had found accommodation that matched our requirements. Samantha remembered all of our personal details and gave excellent personalised service. Appalling service. I wanted to view 2 retirement flats in the area that were advertised by UK Retirement Rentals. I have called 4 times now to be told by the receptionist that someone would call me back. I am still waiting. I wonder if the flat owners are aware that their property is standing empty because no-one gets a chance to look at them?

Over the past 3 weeks I have contacted this company in relation to a rental property in Spalding Lincs, and despite promises to get back to me each and every time they have failed to respond, as a last ditch attempt I sent a viewing request last week, on their web site, and surprise surprise no response from this company, not sure how they survive when they treat potential business in this manner
