Bought the old Co Clare map framed, a housewarming present. They were delighted. The customer service is second to none. A really decent personal touch.

I ordered two maps very soon before Christmas and received both well in time. Excellent quality. Couldn’t be happier.

Dominic was extremely helpful in making sure the beautiful print arrived before a special occasion. I had done much disappointing searching on line, trying to find a print that would reference the splashback of a photo of a wall of white roses with yellow centres taken in Castle Coombe which is around our cook top. The print of the sparse yellow plums on a small branch above the mantle is perfect.

I bought the 1611 Map of Ireland - It looks top class . Better than anticipated.

The 17th Century John Speed map of West Yorks now has pride of place in my front room. Still getting used to the olde spellynge, but I've worked out where the main cities and villages are.

Definitely go for the optional antiquing. It looks amazing.

The framing is also basic but solid, and the acrylic looks better than I'd been expecting.

The shopping and purchase experience is very good, with detailed order-status updates and quick shipping. Indeed, mine arrived earlier than promised.

I ordered a 1940’s map of Arnhem with 3D effects. The two drafts sent to me for approval had 3D effects that were highly inaccurate. It turned out they were using modern topographic information which was no longer accurate. It was agreed that we would proceed without the 3D effect. The map was duly delivered and was excellent. Unfortunately I was then charged £75 for the 3D effect which had not been provided. I was advised that this was to cover their design time. After several emails Dominic agreed to reimburse £50, as I had offered. So not quite 5/5 from me but I would still recommend them to anyone looking for a very high quality map reproduction, albeit I would avoid adding the 3D effect unless the existing topography is going to be accurate on your map.

We had a special wish, Unique Maps created the image for us. They sent us several propositions, were very receptive for all our adjustment wishes, and in the end, the result was even more beautiful than in our imagination. Excellent customer service. Top quality print and frame. Easy processes. An overall very satisfying and beautiful experience. This is the second time we acquired an old map from Unique Maps, and we can highly recommend.

The maps came promptly and were beautiful, especially the antique map of Italy.

What's not to like !

Cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the products or, just as importantly, the customer service. I've become a repeat customer after buying a couple of maps as Christmas gifts and have had various queries along the way - every time, replies to emails have been quick, even at really unsociable times, like late on a Saturday night! Small piece of advice would be to think long and hard about the size that will work in whatever space you have, though obviously that is down to personal choice and the balance between cost and size. But, for what appears to be a small company, I only have good things to say and have now bought seven maps off them in three months or so ...

The map of Hampshire, 1611 by John Speed which I purchased arrived quickly and the print and frame quality were great. Bought as a gift and the receiptients were very happy!
