Been trying to unsubscribe from their newsletter for a couple of months now. Wrote to Superace customer service multiple times - all without luck (they've responded every time, just incompetence). Wouldn't trust them to keep a plastic potted plant alive. Not a good experience - can't recommend.

I purchased perpetual lisense to get app on my computer and be free from all stupid subscriptions, but eash time i like to use app i have to login and wait for some code to came to my email. Sometimes code don't arive from first time and you need to wait more. The whole idea to pay more for perpetual license is to be free, but this company like to hold you on short leash. I wish i choose some diferent app.

Great app for editing pdf
One small remark : it would be nice to have a tactile compatibility with the microsoft surface pro ( screen and pen )

This is an excellent app to read and fully annotate PDFs. I am a voracious reader and use PDFs as my mainstay in scientific research. I annotate with various colors, as well as underline, and insert comments. I have cancelled my very expensive Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription and am using UPDF app instead, but note I am using it on my iMac running Sequoia OS. For some reason, the AppStore and other sites for download do not mention this for the iMac. BTW, I tried to write a review for the AppStore, and for Google Play but could not find "submit review" which, in contrast, was easy to find on TrustPilot.
What I find truly excellent on UPDF is the OCR which is far better than any OCR other than the expensive Acrobat Pro. But UPDF gives me a ton more benefits.
I did not give it a 5-star rating for two relatively small issues: 1. It took me about 2 weeks of use to find most of the features I use- so navigation to find tasks is not as easy as some other PDF apps I have used. 2. I wish there was a dedicated button to increase or decrease text size (as exists with the app called PDFExpert. Yes, I can use Command+ or Command -, but for such a common task, a button on the main menu would be preferable.

I have mentioned all of the above but forgot to note the AI function. I have tested over 8 AI Assistants in the last 4months. UPDF ranks in the top 3. My major complaint about the AI is that it provides me with more than what I want and always adds at the bottom of each reply "If you want, I can ...." and this can lead to User Exhaustion. If I could meld the UPDF AI with Google's paid Gemini Pro AI, I would have the best AI assistant currently available.

Your two-sided printing feature for one page prints the second page upside down. It's very weird. When I flip the letter page over like in a book, the text is upside down.

Editing content of 1-pg doc seems to be possible using a font of choice with this tool. I could shift content on pg as well.

Purchased a license and weeks after I got offered a free software license to be able to remove a PDF-doc's password as well.

These tools make the experience worth while in most common scenarios. The only shortcoming, in my experiences, had been before beta, the early version of UPDF has no grid (to be able to set a left margin from which each line of text begins). Once such is added to its UI adding value to user's experience, it can be very competitve in the software market.

Everything else works great, but UPDF doesn’t provide an option to display PDFs with right-to-left (RTL) page binding. As a result, comics and vertically typeset books appear in the wrong reading order. I originally thought our company could purchase UPDF in bulk to replace Acrobat, but without this feature, it’s unlikely we can switch. That’s really disappointing.

The interface on this is unforgivable. But then you press the Home key and it takes you to the *middle* of the first page, rather than the *top* of the first page, as any rational software would do. Then you hit PageUp, and *nothing* happens. The only way to use the keyboard to get to the top of the document is to press Home and then *hold* the UpArrow until it scrolls you there.

Holding down {Shift, Ctrl, Alt} while pressing {Home, End, PageUp, PageDown} does nothing at all.

I paid for this garbage, and I'm stunned at my foolishness.

I work as a Instructor and deal with PDFs ranging from 500 to 2000 pages. UPDF has made my job much easier, and I enjoy using it. I no longer need any other application for working with PDFs.

The translation mudule is hanging after 5 pages of translation.
The AI module cannot read pdf-text! It states that there is no content while there is full content.
Summarization is doing a chaotic job by making a lot of bullit-phrases and not using normal sentences.

Hi I am having trouble logging in to my UPDF app. I forgot my password and it’s not giving me option to reset password also log in with code that’s not working either when I request to log in with code the code never arrives to my email. Please help he I need access in my UPDF account

Was really looking forward for a good experience with this software.
But the user support is none existent!
Video's are OK if everything works, but if you have problems there seems to me no support.
Been trying to get the OCR function to work and the Edit function but neither function as the video shows.
Have not found on website any human support for my question or help?

Unfortunately, there is no Indonesian language, particularly for translation. Please update the Indonesian language in UPDF.

I am a user of the Pro Lifetime Plan, but I have encountered some limitations that are quite concerning, especially when compared to competing platforms such as pdf2go.com and ilovepdf.com, which offer several basic features free of charge.

Below is a list of essential features that appear to be unavailable or not functioning properly in UPDF:

Adding page numbers to a new or blank PDF file.

Cropping PDF pages, a basic function for layout and formatting adjustments.

Converting searchable PDFs into image-based PDFs to prevent unauthorized editing—this is extremely important for our company when sending business proposals, as it prevents tampering while still allowing text search.

Converting PNG or JPEG images to PDF, a fundamental and widely available feature on free tools.

These are standard features expected even in free tools, and their absence significantly limits the value of the paid plan.

Are these features truly unavailable in the current version of UPDF?

Could this be a technical issue or a pending software update?

I appreciate your support and look forward to your clarification or any roadmap updates regarding these features.

Although it is always interesting to find a site talking about FREE magazines, when you normally HAVE TO pay for the magazines in question (Time Magazine for example) - one of the five sites they reviewed doesn't even let you download any pdfs of magazines - it just goes back to the main menu of the site!

Couldn’t even access the expensive premium version. Waste of money for a purchase THAT LITERALLY DIDN'T DO WHAT I PAID FOR.

Arabic language is not supported in search and find in the PDF file Please try to solve this problem.

I got logged out of my paid perpetual account and can not log in again. Every time I try I face this message: api.updf.com’s server IP address could not be found.

These kinds of problems, without any prior notice, raise serious questions about the stability of UPDF. Perhaps it would have been better to pay for more reliable software like Foxit to ensure a consistent experience.
