Things went wrong many times

Things went wrong many times. Lost parcels, lost invoice, damaged parcels. I have never, ever encountered a company with such incapacity to do things right. A nightmare to deal with especially if your business depends on it.

UPS = USELESS PARCEL SERVICE

Absolutely terrible service! If I could give minus stars it would be a MINUS 5. No communication, No help! I am frantically having to chase UPS for any information. Tracking said parcel stuck in Barcelona for over 3 weeks, all paperwork was attached to the parcel yet UPS wanted copies of it emailing. Yet - STILL NOT MOVED!! Just a scan everyday. Now they say it will be returned to sender! I have explained to 3 separate departments that the items in the box are spare household items which we are sending to our holiday home in Spain and sent copies of paperwork to all 3 too. I even suggested they open the box to confirm this. It has become a VERY STRESSFUL situation. UPS YOU SHOULD FIND A WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. I would not recommend UPS to anyone!

If you have a business don’t use these people

I’ve had many bad experiences with UPS in Spain. This is the worst. A customer bought an item from me and I shipped it Express with UPS (their expensive service). It arrived at the access point 2 days later on the 12th of July. My customer rang The Access Point to say that she would be there on the 19th. They said it was fine as they have the packet until the 26th. When she arrived on the 19th they said the packet had not been delivered to them despite it begin scanned into the access point and their previous phone call. They said was a mistake and to call a number that she later found out was disconnected. This packet miraculously reappeared and was dispatched back to me (at additional charge) because they said she refused it. However, despite me having an account with UPS they did not have my address to return it to and decided not to contact me looking for it. So essentially they decided to charge me twice for shipping my packet the length of Spain and back and ruining two persons days. UPS is usually quite disappointing but they excelled themselves when I rang customer service to give them my address was hung up on initially. Then when speaking to the most disinterested girl and suggesting that they look into my complaint with the access point (as I had lost considerable money on this sale) was hung up on again.

UPS customer service should be…

UPS customer service should be completely overhauled . They do not provide solutions to your urgent deliveries . It’s supposed to be an expedited delivery service company. They are rude, obnoxious and they keep changing the excuses of why your package will not be delivered until 24 business hours later and if it’s a Friday , you are stuck waiting for a Monday/Tuesday delivery if lucky . It’s an American company , but the customer service department is not in tune with American customer service standards . Really bad treatment .

No delivery attempt made to my house

my tracking ref. 1ZA926206897035179 The driver never attempted to come to my house, UPS kept telling me, not correct address, I have lived here 20 years, using the same address, I contacted several times, why can the driver not phone me, no response, I then included an area near me, being helpful, then told, customer changed address! another delay, after 7 days from initial delivery, still no delivery, I kept writing to customer service, no response, In the end I had to tell them I`ll go to Pick-up area, which is half an hour from my house, bearing in mind I have paid for a delivery to be made. This is the normal way UPS Spain, treats us. I have now been in touch with the seller, and told them I will not be making further purchases from them if they use UPS, I have done this to previous Sellers using this Carrier. It is a disgrace!

WARNING: NEVER CHOOSE UPS DELIVERY!!!

I chose their next-day delivery to send some documents (very light, <500g) from Spain to the UK because they advertise for delivery by 1pm the next day if drop off before 1pm.

I had to document dropped off at 11am which is in their required time window.

At 5pm UPS picked it up from the local access point and had it deliver to Cologne, Germany at about 1am that night.

The next morning 8 am I called to ask and make sure that I'll get the document that day as it is very important for my legal appointment.

The phone agent said she did not think that the package will be delivered to the UK that day because it is still in Germany at that time.

That is when the disaster with UPS starts. The following two days I called them so many times to urge the delivery, explained to them how important it was to me to have the document asap .

First, they lied to me that there is a delay in picking up the package in Spain.

Later they lied again saying no the delay was due to adverse weather in Spain.

Then they lied some more that there was extreme weather conditions in Germany!!

There were no weather issues at all! Spain had some little rain, but the weather in Cologne was perfect. I can't believe that they can make such shameless lies again and again. Don't they think that everyone with an internet connection can check and ask people all around the world about weather conditions?

I was literally depressed the following days, seeing no sign that the package is been going on way, while my appointment, schedule, and flight is at risk of being cancelled altogether.

And they did.

UPS took 4 days to finally deliver the package.

4 days late, I missed everything.

My biggest regret is to trust them the second time. I already had a horrible experience with them back in February, when I sent a birthday gift from UK to Spain and expected 3-5 days delivery but it took 3 weeks. I and the receiver had to spend tons of time dealing with custom procedures, for UPS did nothing to guide me when I register to send a personal gift.
and It was delivered broken, opened and repacked.
They also asked the receiver to pay for an extra fee without noticing me.

This time as I only send some piece of papers, there should be no problem at custom, but they still blame the (perfect) weather for the poor service.

Unbelievable!

When I emailed them requesting a refund for their horrendous service, they told me to contact local ups in Spain.

I don't see myself wasting more time going through that, as I foresee they will find whatever lame reason to not authorise the refund. I decide to spend the time instead to write this review, and I'll post it wherever I can.

Never, ever, use their service!!!!

Incompetence to the max

They sent me dozen of parcels every year but yet, this time they say my address does not exists so they choose (without informing the vendor or me) to send it to a pick up location 4 hours from my house. You try to talk to them but they are robots, is just imposible to reason with anyone. I hope AI ends up with all your jobs. This is UPS Spain.

Dreadful Delivery Experience

After waiting in all day for a delivery, UPS Spain updated Amazon at 14:48, saying that our address did not exist.
I immediately contacted UPS, Amazon & the vendor to notify them that our address was correct, only for UPS Spain to update their message at 15:48 saying that they were not able to deliver.
We telephoned 'Customer Service' where you have a tortuous menu to navigate, before you can actually get to speak to a human being.
Then, they say that 'because you queried the delivery, it will take an extra 24-48 hours'.
Do UPS Spain really expect you to wait around at home half a week, just in case they decide to maybe deliver?
They do not deserve to be in business.
I really expect the consignment to be returned to the vendor without ever reaching us.
They are truly disgraceful!

UPS and PLATINUM INTERNATIONAL CO AGAIN!!

Ordered a Pressure Valve from Jordan, charged €25 transport. On delivery UPS REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY PART without paying what they called AN EXTRA TRANSPORT CHARGE of €19,24 in addition to Customs charges of €10,95. They provided NO RECEIPT and the Driver said l had to pay in CASH. The Valve was advertised by PLATINUM INTERNATIONAL CO. at 30 USD or about €27 in the end it cost me €90. Heard so many BAD STORIES ABOUT BOTH UPS and PLATINUM not to be recommended, they are bad news.

UPS delivery man negligent. Should be fired?

Ref: 1Z30R2E86858473964
Ref: 1Z30R2E86859525987

I order a Flat Pack Games Box fom ROGUE (R).

When it is delivered, we open the box, and we realize that the box is clearly damaged.

We report the damage to UPS, which implies having to fill up a very tedious amount of information, and make the many pictures.

We contact ROGUE (R) to notify them that the damage has been filed following the intructions from UPS.

ROGUE (R) acknowledges that it is a factory issue. They send a replacement item through UPS. They state too that we will receive a bar code through email from UPS in order to return the previous item with the factory issue.

Yesterday, Wednesday the 12th of April 2023, we speak with the enterpise associated WhatsApp number of the UPS delivery man through phone call, and text conversation. The gentleman states that the call is about next day's due delivery. He states there won´t be any problem with the delivery, and agrees that we send him the location through WhatsApp. He writes back OK, thumbs up.

It is relevant to note that UPS has delivered parcels to us before. They know who we are, and where we live.

The delivery window according to the UPS email was 12 to 16h, today, the 13th of April 2023.

Today, past 17h there was no delivery attempt whatsoever. Ours is a dead end patway. No one passed through here today!

I call UPS Spain customer service. A very attentive lady provides the customer service. The lady reports that the delivery man has reported a delivery attempt, and that there is a reported issue with the name of the address. The lady states that is going to report it to the team for them to contact the delivery man. The lady states I will get a follow up email from UPS within 2h.

I receive the email. It states that "Your shipment suffered damage, we carried out the pertinent investigation for the breakage. The item has been returned to the sender."

I reply to them, by email, that UPS told me something else on the phone. I tell them again that the conversation may have been recorded, as I told the operator through phone previously. They record the conversations too anyway. It is our legal right to record them too. I tell them that now in writing they are telling me a completely different story. I tell them they have contradicted themselves, or the delivery man has lied to them. There is a clear breach of trust, and a breach of contract.

I elaborate further telling them that the package that the courier has not delivered today is the package that replaces the previous one (with the factory issue), the later which they have to ship back after sending me the barcode by email. A barcode that, by the way, they've, so far, never sent to me.

I ask UPS to ask the delivery man for the photos of the damage. I tell UPS to tell him the client, myself, requires the evidence.

I ask them: how will we be compensated for the damages caused by the delivery man?

When a customer buys a product, they have the right to have: 1. a product with no factory, and quality check issue. And 2. delivered on time. Otherwise the customer suffers moral damages, and stress. And 3. lacks the service that would be provided otherwise by the product. Amongs other matters.

It´s up to each person to judge who´s at fault in this instance. ROGUE (R), UPS (R), or the delivery man that works for UPS?

My judgment tells me that ROGUE should have sent in a first instance an item with no factory/quality check issue. And that the delivery man has most likely not been professional enough.

The question now is: Is UPS going to act in the most diligent manner to sort the matter? Is UPS going to impose a sanction to the delivery man? Is UPS going to fire the delivery man? Is UPS going to compensate for moral, and other damages to us customers? Is UPS going to try to cover up the lack of diligence of the delivery driver?

UPS must keep all the evidence regarding this case, in case it may be required to bring it to a court of law.

I am a firm believer that the excellence in customer service must always be the overriding objective of any trademark that wants to be economically successfull.

Order not delivered and no contact from UPS

The order had the status that the address was wrong, despite having verified it through calling 3x times. In the end they returned the package to sender without even calling or informing me or offering the opportunity to pick it up at a pick up point. Zero communication from UPS side, I had to reach out on each iteration and no solution was offered.

Stay away from UPS Spain

Stay away from UPS Spain! The driver was too lazy to deliver the parcel in 10 days. I tried to contact him on the phone and via text messages multiple time. "Mañana" is all you get. Then, 10 days later, I get an email indicating that my parcel will be destroyed. I'm shocked, as the parcel contained 500€ worth of goods. Mistakes can happen and one lazy or incompetent driver shouldn't ruin an entire company's face. But the customer support is equally as bad and they simply abandoned my case and stopped replying. NEVER AGAIN! Choose DHL or SEUR, they know a bit what they're doing.

Very poor postal service. Terrible customer service. AVOID.

I have been trying to resolve this for 5 months and have now given up. Items sent to Spain from the UK. UPS Spain claimed that taxes were not paid by Spanish customer. This is false as I have copies of UPS receipts showing that taxes had been paid. The package was apparently destroyed as in their opinion the taxes had not been paid. No effort was made by UPS to contact either the customer or sender. I have wasted many hours trying to resolve this matter but no-one from UPS is able or capable of helping. Very poor service all round. Our company will never use UPS again.

Avoid

Avoid! They claim you are not available to receive the shipment and drives it directly an "Access point".
I know for a fact I was at home, no music playing. No one called on the intercom (I have checked the surveillance camera when they claimed to have been here), and no phone calls either.

Only one way to stop this, reject the package and return to sender, then claim a refund from the seller. Order again from same seller or somewhere else.
