Absolutely the worst delivery company ever!!!..once again I've waited in for a parcel, and once again they send a message to say they couldn't deliver, no options, no reasons, shocking service when no other delivery company has problems you can rely on UPS to create one!!!...take some lessons from Amazon you idiots..

Delivery service which can't deliver

I'm awaiting a delivery (Edinburgh, Scotland) from Ebay by UPS. Three times in the space of 6 days they told me they couldn't deliver due to my "unavailability" even though I was at home each time.

Frustrating delivery company

I had no info other than 'to be delivered by 9pm' on a Friday. Nothing to say that a signature was required and no 'safe place' options. I got a message with a delivery window AFTER they attempted to deliver. No way of contacting the company to find out if 'next business day' meant a Saturday.... seems not, as I am still awaiting a new delivery date. So my parcel will be three days late.
I don't understand why companies use UPS, it gives them a bad rep.

Can't decide if UPS means…

Can't decide if UPS means Unprofessional Services or Utterly Pathetic Service. My package was due to arrive today and I even got an email yesterday confirming this. Now the tracking site says the package is being held for a future delivery date. No explanation, ( I didn't request a change ) no apology and worse no indication when my package will be delivered. Do I just stay at home every day and hope?
Update. Parcel was delivered today but without any warning or updates on the tracking app

Great service and delivery- seriously impressed and pleased !! Obrigado!!

This is UPS PORTUGAL 🇵🇹 I’m writing about in Azeitão near Setubal- Miguel our delivery driver has been absolutely superb- we couldn’t ask for better information from him and service on 2 deliveries he’s done for us . On time if not earlier and a really nice professional personable guy 🙏🏼 Seriously impressed -Thank You Miguel!!

This is the worst delivery company by far!!

There is no means of contacting them, they deliver outside of the 2 hour slot they only provide you with on the day of the delivery and they provide no option to leave the package in a safe place..awful, awful awful. I did a 2 hour round trip with my 2 children to be told they cannot find my parcel!

the driver stopped in my lane

the driver stopped in my lane. He sat in the van for a small amount of time the started to reverse out. I waved him down and told him he had a package for me which he gave me. I suspect had I not caught him I would have got the usual delivery attempted message that appears every time you have waited in all day for a package from this company. They obviously track the van but does the driver always try to deliver.....much easier to dump all the boxes at a pick up location I think!!!!!

Absolutely shocking service and…

Absolutely shocking service and communication . No facility on website or App to designate a safe place for driver to leave parcel. UPS Give a time window estimate of 2 hours but then deliver outside of this window and then say it’s just an estimate? So with no safe place and delivery windows an estimate, the alternative is to sit in all day . Getting customer support costs money as you need to phone UPS . I gave in on failed deliveries and drove 20 mile round trip to collect myself from depot. Horrendous in comparison with other courier companies!

Asked for a quote to send a parcel to China quote was,£49 they collected the parcel and when I checked my bank they had taken another £46! since January I've been in contact with absolutely no satisfaction! I've know had a invoice for £62 as they couldn't deliver the parcel so returned it to me! And expect me to pay it. Which I'm refusing to do. I'm seeking legal advice as I can't believe it's cost a £150 for a parcel that was never delivered! Stay away from this company

I ordered and paid a delivery on UPS…

I ordered and paid a delivery on UPS website for 17,27 euros but the amount later charged on my credit card was 25,34 euros (reference 1Z6R7TH06836725827).

I claimed UPS the refund of the OVERCHARGED amount between the website price and the amount overcharged on my credit card but they won't return it.

I should warn all express and parcels delivery customers not to rely on the prices UPS presents on its website as it later on charges amounts much higher and above what other competitors like DPD or DHL charge.

Lack of attempt of delivery

They were "not able" to deliver my pack to my home address, and instead automatically dropped to a pick-up point. Funny thing #1 I am working from home and no one buzzed. After 1 hr of AI call gibberish, I could finally reach a human being and was told that no door detail was provided to the driver. Funny thing #2 even the notification e-mail I received from UPS on non-delivery, contained the correct door details. (Also, why they did not try to call me if it is mandatory to provide contact details?)
So they are either a bunch of incompetents or they suffer from serious non-willingness

Refunds for billing errors: over 2.5 months delay…

Still waiting on 2 refunds due to UPS billing errors since January 2025: over 2.5 months delay even so these errors were recognised by UPS and the refunds were approved in writing by UPS.
Called UPS Customer support over 10 times & sent multiple emails the past 10 weeks with absolutely no progress.
They do not answer to my simple question: when will I be refunded ? What is the problem ? What is needed from me ?
The Customer Support process simply does not work !
Completely unacceptable attitude towards its customers !

Awful company

Awful company, my first order was delivered to a local Indian shop, not my home address, the owner said ups frequently did this as they couldn't be bothered to delivery. So with some trepidation, and sinking heart, an order was being sent from Germany. Email Saturday morning from ups to say delivery by 12.10, that didn't happen, get another email saying get excited as your order is on it's way. 15.50, nothing, so rang ups number, the guy assured me it would be delivered by 19.00. Nothing. My phone stated been delivered at 17.07, not to this address, ups wouldn't let me upload photos of where it had been delivered. Finally found it had been delivered to no13 on our street, we are no9. Absolutely dire company. Wish we knew when we order something online, we know who would be the courier, then I would think twice about ordering.

Constant rescheduling, no communication , still waiting after delivery initially scheduled 5 days ago

I have now been waiting in since Friday 28th March for a "by end of day delivery" which keeps being rescheduled. Today is 2nd April and despite calling customer support and even locating a manager still no answer on when my parcel will be delivered.
I have phoned the company from whom I bought the article to inform them how useless UPS UK is.

Terrible service

The tracking number that the store provided me was not working, it basically said that UPS didn't have access to my parcel yet. I had to wait 5 days to then receive an email with a new tracking number, saying that I would receive my parcel the next day. When the day to receive the parcel arrived, they updated the tracking saying that they had tried to deliver the parcel but no one was home (I was in fact home the whole day), even though I had chosen to ship to a UPS access point (so they basically just lied that they tried to deliver it). Since I realized that the address was listed as a "home" address instead of a UPS access point address, I changed the delivery place to the same address that I originally chose, so that way the system could understand that it was an access point and not a home address. Ever since I made that change, the system froze and I had to contact support, only to find out that my parcel may not even arrive the day after. The 2-5 business days that were necessary for the delivery to be made are already over, since I've been waiting for a whole week. I paid a very expensive shipping fee and I am truly disappointed with the service of this company.

Frustrating service

Tracking never updated to out for delivery then suddenly changed to collect from parcel shop. Delivery never attempted. Went to the parcel shop which was already closed at 17:02 although on the website it showed 18:00. Requested for redelivery, tracking never updated. Went back to the parcel shop next day, the parcel not there. The shop person called the courier and they promised to deliver within 30 mins to 1 hour after initially saying it was scheduled to be delivered after 2 days. Customer support not helpful as it is just a robot. Parcel not delivered yet and tracking not helpful at all. The whole system seems to be flawed.

Parcel eventually delivered on the 6th of March at 14:59. The delivery person was kind. Will add a star for that and another one for resolving the matter.
