I need a passcode for my alarm as I need to reprogramme it - it is operating for some reason in permanent night mode. I have phoned numerous times, both in Spain and now in the UK, over the last few weeks but invariably get cut off waiting for customer services. I have tried emailing but just receive post master messages saying your inbox is full. I have also tried what app - which wasn't working. In deperation I have even disconnected the alarm - I was then contacted by you but when I explained I needed a passcode the responder advised he couldn't help me and I got cut off again. Good system but dreadful after sales service - now thinking of moving to someone else.

I gave two stars because the actual install, and system are good. BUT, and it’s a big BUT, when you come to leave, the problems start. I spent literally months, calling and requesting to leave. Being asked to jump through many many hoops. Eventually, I cancelled the account. I requested an email to state this as I need proof, which I eventually got. I called again to confirm all ok as I was closing my back account. I was told “ it’s not difficult, it’s all cancelled” so I closed my bank account and left Spain. Then, I stayed getting hounded by them
Saying I owe money and the got a recovery agent onto me. I had to hire a solicitor to sort out. I thought I was being thorough when I left, but it seems a trap to get more money. Be careful

One of the worst companies. They only care about signing a contract and extorting money from us. They installed an alarm, and then it turns out the contract is supposed to be for a minimum of four years. The price was supposed to change after three years, but it turns out that won't happen. I didn't receive any application codes. I don't have an emergency password. I have absolutely nothing, and they want money for it.Stay away from them. They were supposed to contact me in English, but they only called once, and that was in Spanish. They're scamers and fraudsters. They completely failed to fulfill their contract and currently have no intention of doing so. I sent several emails, and the only response I got was that I signed the contract and that's it. What kind of people are these? SCAMMERS. THE CASE WILL BE REPORTED TO A LAWYER. Incidentally, a ciaxa bank offered them, and they lied to me too, because that wasn't how it was supposed to be.
They don't even bother to respond to comments personally. They just automatically reply with the same answer to every comment. I won't pay you a single euro. You can sue me to court. We'll explain who's the fraudster here.

The initial consultation was very comprehensive and everything was explained clearly. The alarm system was installed the same day and all very efficiently. Very comprehensive security package including cameras. The App is intuitive and easy to use. Would recommend

Reading other reviews reflects my own experience: Securitas performs well until something goes wrong. When issues arise, slow responses and difficulty securing a technician become increasingly frustrating.
After a technician recently reviewed our system, a single detector malfunctioned and triggered an alarm at midnight on a Friday, disturbing both my first responder and my neighbour. Although a technician visit was promised, no one came, and the same alarm sounded again a week later—with further assurances but no follow-up.
After nearly 20 years with Securitas, I am now looking at alternative providers. It is also noticeable that service standards seem to have declined as the area has become more densely populated.
The technician finally visited the house last night 9 December and changed the battery on the offending item. Question is why did it fail after such a short period or did the first technician fail to change it?
My complaint centres on the tardy response to the fault. Once the technicians finally attend they are polite.

The after sales experience was appalling, the cost quoted lasted I month and then the cost increased, apparently they can do this as it's in the small print. Had numerous issues and tried to make contact through email - completely ignored - Phone calls - generally a waste of time. So after 3 years we tried to cancel, they then start to take notice, but trying to cancel took 12 months, lots of offers of reduced cost etc, clearly they react when you want to leave. Finally we paid them extra to leave us alone. A horrible experience from customer service would never advise anyone to consider this company, simply the worst experience I have had with any company in my 70+ years

When they want you to sign, nothing is two much trouble. We agreed a 2 year contract. Fair enough. Now, at the end of the two years, they say I have to pay them back for the equipment that depreciates over THREE years. None of that was agreed. I have asked for a hoja de reclamaciones but been ignored. Beware.

I have never encountered a company so rude. As a customer, they are friendly, but when I called to cancel my subscription, their tone changed completely. I was told I needed to withdraw through six different forms, with no option for verbal communication. While I understand procedures, after five years and multiple installations, this is unacceptable. I will definitely never use Securitas again.

I had a problem trying to add a contact person online as a Verisure Guardian and had to ring the Spanish number. The person I spoke to first said I should be able to do it; when I told her I couldn't she said she would do it for me. Then said she couldn't! So I should delete the app and reinstall. I said I was not prepared to do this, I wanted it sorted out while I was on the phone. She was clearly just trying to get rid of me as several times she asked if I had any other questions and I said no, I just want this problem sorted out. Eventually she told me what I wanted was not possible but not to worry because if the 2 people listed under Verisure Guardians were not available to go to the house they would the contact the other people under General contacts (which was a direct contradiction of what she had previously said). I then asked why I only get a notification if my fob is used to deactivate/activate the system. She said because my name is used and all the other fobs have numbers. So we went through the list of fobs and guess what, out of 6, 4 have names assigned and only 2 have numbers! Good grief, these are the people responsible for our security alarm system. They need to work on educating their staff and providing a better customer service. We will be looking at other alarm companies as no confidence in this company now.

Following shocking customer service from this company and having emailed and phoned many times about unlawful debits from my account after cancellation, I submitted a review on Trustpilot more than a week ago and was asked by Securitas direct for my details so that they could investigate.I provided this on the same day but have heard nothing further. I did,however,receive an automated email from them following a previous communication I sent.This simply said my request had been managed!.I asked what this meant but again no reply.
I honestly believe that they had no intention of investigating and said it simply to look responsible on Trustpilot.
I do not trust this outfit and friends have suggested that I submit a denuncia to the authorities. Whatever I decide they still owe me the money they verbally promised on two occasions but refused on a third
I would recommend that anyone planning to use them takes great care.

SINCE PUBLISHING MY SECOND REVIEW,THIS COMPANY HAS NOW ASKED FOR THE SAME INFORMATION I PROVIDED FOLLOWING MY INITIAL REVIEW. I RECEIVED NO RESPONSE THEN SO AM NOT OPTIMISTIC THEY WILL RESPOND THIS TIME. I WILL WAIT AND SEE BUT NO DOUBT I WILL NEED TO REVIEW AGAIN.
Securitas stopped providing cover on my prooerty 2 months ago because they said I was in arrears on my monthly payments. My bank produced a full summary of all payments to them and none was missing. They ignored it, continue to call me weekly, continue to collect my monthly payments and continue to withold their services. I have filled in a full official "Ayuntamiento"complaint which was sent to them on 29th October. They had 10 days to respond but have not done so. Today I have an appointment with a lawyer and will know more about how to proceed. The Securitas administration and accounts department in particular are not fit for purpose. They are a disgrace.
Well, the meeting with the lawyer went well. The proof of all payments was submitted and an official complaint has been filed with the Officina Municipal de Información al Consumidor and the Junta de Andalucía. I'm informed that the next step will be to go to mediation or court. I'm happy with either because if there are any costs to pay the party at fault will be responsible..... and that's Decuritas Direct because of its abominable administration. Aside from the meeting with the lawyer, Securitas placed three further calls to me this morning and said they were transferring me to their English speaking team. The line was then dropped. I'm getting used to this because it happens every day. I look forward to seeing your embarrassment, Securitas Direct when finally we come face to face. You've still got time to put things right, but that time is quickly running out.
