Recently I purces two SSD 1TB from Versik . Both of their product was not compatible with Mac OS and after 4 weeks of emails they refund and Versik promises of returning cost will be paid back to me so I send them back ! After refund they did not pay the postage and hope that will be a learns lesson for me ! PLEASE AVOID WITH DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST ! I was very disappointed with the way they lie to their costumers and anything for the sort profit for them ! PLEASE AVOID

As everyone else here i got stung for a 30tb drive
This was my timeline
1. Sent email to support address - Bounced
2.Called contact number - Never gets answered
3.Sent email via the contact us option
4. Replied and this is is where they have you going round in circles refusing to entertain you unless you follow their instructions which is
Format the drive , try it in a different computer blah blah blah
Provide order number .
They then provide you a completely random returns address which i called them out on and they replied with "Address is confirmed! I even sent a google map picture of the address which is a residential block of flats and said as much.
They wouldnt accept it and said it is confirmed.
4. Asked for proof of returns
5. Then offered a refund when i clearly proved the item bounced and got returned to me.

That was three weeks ago and still no refund and now not responding to any email.

Like others i paid on my CC so i got a chargeback so in the end no damage apart to my pride for being sucked into this disgraceful scam.

Ive reported them to Action Fraud which is all you can really do.

Whatever you do , DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE. THEY ARE FAKE DEVICES AND DO NOT WORK NO MATTER HOW TEMPTED YOU ARE THINKING THEY WILL WORK , THEY DONT ! DO NOT BUY.

I hope everyone takes notice and stops buying these joke devices and put these scammers out of business.

Do not on any account trade with this company. I purchased a 1TB SSD drive from them for the sum of £23.15. When the drive arrived I tried it on my computer and found that in many cases it was copying the folder names but no data within them. The transfer rate was painfully slow and with many error messages saying that the files were incompatible. I sent three email messages to different email addresses from their website and emails. All three emails were bounced back to me as undeliverable by my internet service providor. I tried telephoning them twice on the phone number from their website and just got the 'number unobtainable' tone. My son, a computer engineer dismantled the drive and discovered that it was not an SSD drive at all but a cheap USB2 thumb drive with a C to USB adaptor in a larger case. My consolation was that I had paid for the item using my VISA Card and so I made a chargeback complaint to them and received a refund three days later. Avoid this company like the plague.

As with many other people, I'm wise after the event!
Bought a 8TB SSD thinking it was a good deal.
Turns out it was too good to be true!
Drive arrived in good time however, my Mac or PC won't recognise it, can't partition or format it.
Looks pretty but turns out to be pretty useless.
AVOID AT ALL COST!

Although they have been very responsive to suggestions on how to make the disks work with an Apple Mac
No success at all. They offered 50% refund and not have to send the disks back I have requested a full refund.If no success in receiving a full refund I will refer it to the Local Trading Standards

Bought a 2TB SSD. It was rubbish and nothing like they said. Couldn't even download a 30GB game to it over an entire day. It also just stopped working entirely and caused my laptop to bug out.

Been stuck emailing them for a few weeks now trying to get a refund. They have told me to buy postage and they'll refund it (suspicious). Furthermore, they sent me a random residential address as the return address. I'm getting less hopeful of a good outcome. Steer well clear.

I purchased a 4T SSD from Versik but it could not be initialised to work with a Mac. I emailed their support and got no reply, I then followed the instructions on their website to get a refund but the email could not be delivered. Apparently reading all the reviews these drives are junk so don’t even think about purchasing one. I have binned mine and will be looking to purchase another one from a reputable brand

The Portable SSD arrived OK, but only worked intermittently. I contacted support, who took a very formulaic approach, but nothing worked. I asked for a refund. Again I had to jump through some hoops, but did eventually get a full refund. I must admit I thought I was wasting my time pursuing a refund, but to my surprise it came through. The price of these drives too good to be true really, so it was always going to be a punt.

I ordered 3 SSDs which were low priced and seemed too good to be true. I should have checked Trust Pilot first. Despite my anger at wasting nearly £90 I went through the complaint process with them, eventually sending the 3 items back - to what seemed like a suspicious residential address. I was calm and polite in my correspondence with Versik and today I received a 100% refund, phew! My original order was placed on 2 March, refund received 5 April. I feel lucky. Never again!
NEW DEVELOPMENT- on Monday 8 April I received a mobile phone call from a lady who lives at the residential address (provided by Versik) I sent the 3 faulty SSDs to. She asked if she should return them to me. I told her to bin them. I still have my 100% refund in the bank. I checked.

Like everyone else here - complete scam, contact number doesn’t work and even though they respond via email, you’re not going to get the refund you desire unfortunately. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

They sent me a 16GB drive that didn't work. I tried calling their support line but of course the phone number doesn't work. I did manage to correspond by email and followed all their advice to check, fix and use the drive but nothing worked. After much asking, they finally sent me a return address but it belonged to an accountancy company that was unaware their address was being used.

Appalling service. Ordered two and neither worked. 2TB and then foolishly took up half price offer and got 4TB. 2 TB worked and 4TB didn’t. They replaced and they didn’t work. Offered 50% refund. What good is 50% refund on item that doesn’t work. Now 2TB doesn’t work. Dragging their heels on refund so off to credit card company to chase. Interesting as well they don’t accept PayPal so can’t even dispute easily. SCAM

On 17th March 2024 I ordered two 16T SSD from Versik one for my Mac and 1 for my wife's PC they arrived after 13 days but apart from a blue flashing light neither worked, the Mac did not even recognise the SSD. I tried formatting via the PC but it did not work. The Versik UK phone number did not work. I then checked the internet and realised others have had a similar experience. I await a response from my email to Versik.

I would give ZERO stars if I could.
Bought this device a few weeks ago to store an archive of old photographs. Initially it worked but has now stopped storing files. Checked the storage capacity of my so called 4TB device, it has 14GB. Completely useless and a total rip off. Do not purchase from Versik, they are fraudsters.
I should have been more careful diligent. The old saying applies, if a deal is too good to be true then it probably is.

My drive did not work so one star for that. But 4 more stars for the 100% refund, which arrived in my bank after I followed the procedures.

I think these are low quality drives which sometimes work (NOT with Mac) but I have to say I was refunded.

I wanted to acknowledge that despite the dissatisfied with a 30TB drive not working they did refund my money, but would I buy again? NO my data is too valuable.

Dont be a cheep-skate like me , buy something you can trust. Nuffin is for Nuffin.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I purchased an SSD drive which initially worked then completely failed. When I contacted the company 6 weeks after the purchase, they refused to replace the item, even though it was faulty, as it was outside their 30 day money back guarantee.
Update. I have now raised this issue with my credit card company and , after reading other reviews, "Action Fraud". I've since had the money refunded by my credit card company. I doubt very much they will be able to recoup it from Versik.

I didn’t research these SSDs. Spent £57.95 on an 8TB and 4TB SSD. Eventually arrived, not recognised by my smart TV, can see it on my laptop but cannot store any sort of file. Asked a technician to review them without any success. Read the reviews too late!
Emailed Versik that I wanted to take advantage of the 30 day money back and had a reply asking me to do a lot of basic checks, no mention of refund. I’m about to send Versick (!) a further email with no expectation of a reply.

This outfit must be terminated.

I have reported the issue to GOV.UK Stop! Think Fraud.
I urge others to do the same.
The GOV.UK Think Fraud website is not well designed and requires persistence to lodge a complaint. However complaint acknowleged and we'll see what happens...
If sufficient other folk report it as well it might get the ball rolling.

Issue also reported to the Daily Mail's Sally Sorts It column. Acknowledged but not published. However if Sally's inbox was bombarded with a host of other complaints she might consider picking up the reins.

Both of the above avenues worth exploring.

Another idea was to report the matter to the (NatWest) credit card company that handled the payment.
Flag Versik up as a dodgy receiving account maybe?
Nothing from NatWest as yet which comes as no great surprise...

I hope Steven Fraser (scroll down, a previous reviewer of the useless Versik product) has the opportunity to see my review. I wish him well in his endeavours to seek justice and would like him to know that I have joined the cause!

My (never to be seen again) outlay will not break the bank but the method of its liberation from my account is extremely galling.
Versik are criminals!

I didn't tick the box to let Versik know about my review. They know already because of the 18 fruitless email exchanges between us which are proof that they are an exceedingly UNtrustworthy and fraudulent supplier.

Versik need to be shut down and its operators prosecuted and jailed!

I returned my disks after much e mailing back and forth, exiting a full refund. The address label had been torn off and eventually Post Office returned it to me. It's not clear what this process was. I've lost £65 in this scam.

It's so obvious that it's a scam. They're selling a 30TB SSD drive for less than £100..
