Will never use this company again! Totally disinterested in my complaint and failed to address the issues raised. Use Secret Escapes or Booking,com they do listen to feedback. I was told because we declined to stay in the upgraded room offered it was too bad they couldn’t offer the same facilities. We had no choice other than to vacate the room after 5 mins as the bed was completey broken and hanging off the wall!! We were then given an inferior room, pop up waste for the spa bath broken so no bath! The extras advised as included ie iPad in the room and free bottle of wine were not present in the room.
So it seems we should have accepted the room and slept on the floor!!!

No need to use VeryChic, you can book on any other competitors website or directly with the hotels and often find the same prices with more flexibility. If you need to cancel with VeryChic don’t give you your money back even if you have paid for their cancellation insurance, which is in fact exactly the same as the insurance offered by any MasterCard or Visa.
My advice is just go to Booking.com, they don’t trick you into buying useless services..
Awful. Absurdly bad, rude customer service. If you minimize a page or don’t book right away, the page will simply change your dates to the next day, ie, tomorrow. If you don’t catch it (easy to miss on a cell phone) but then see it 2 minutes later in confirmation email, they will ding you 20 euros as a change fee. Even though the reservation was only 80€, reservation is weeks away and the hotel was fine with it. You can’t even make the change online or with a customer agent on the phone. It will take days. Skip this ripoff and use hotels.com Excellent customer service, easy change policies AND a free night after 10. I spent thousands of euros in a year with verychic. They can enjoy that last 20 euros from me.

Chronic customer service. Compared to Secret Escapes, which I have used many times, Very Chic is anything but. From start to finish their responses to our questions and complaints was totally lacking in professionalism and what I would call a duty of care to customers. When we tried to book an airport transfer (which would have been free), we were told that the hotel needed at least 48-72 hours notice?? We only booked the stay 48 hours before arrival and would have expected the confirmation email to spell this out to us. So we paid £70 in a taxi!
We were also offered a free upgrade in the booking but on arrival the hotel knew nothing of this and when I queried it with Very Chic was told that since we'd already booked a superior room, there was no other upgrade available. So in essence we could have saved money by booking a standard room to start with and having it upgraded. This wasn't made clear. I argued that they could find some other "upgrade", i.e from half board to all inclusive perhaps, or they could refund the difference between room categories, but essentially was brushed off with half-assed answers and a total lack of regard. The feeling was once Very Chic had my money, it's duty of care (assuming there ever was one) was no longer needed. The email responses I got from the customer service rep left me speechless. Shocking behaviour and I vowed NEVER to use Very Chic again. Stick to Secret Sales. A much superior level of customer service where you feel like the people at the other end really do care about you and your experience.

I would used it even more if there are possibilities to accommodate family of 4. Usually it is difficult to find a family room or studio. Thank you!
We had a very nice stay in Paris. The breakfast was very good and liked especially the fresh pressed orange-juice. The room was small but very cosy. We had a good and relaxing sleep thanks to the very good bed made at disposal. Ideal location to visit Paris.

Beware! Read EVERYTHING very carefully as contracting anything in this webpage is like walking through a mine field. Many things are misleading and you are never really sure where they are gonna fool you. It seems a bit like Ryanair in the beginings.
