I’ve had a very positive experience selling on Vestiaire Collective. The platform is easy to use, professional and gives sellers a great opportunity to reach buyers who appreciate designer and luxury fashion. I particularly like the quality of the marketplace and the overall selling process. Communication and order management have been straightforward, and I’ve been happy with the experience so far. I would definitely recommend Vestiaire Collective to other sellers looking to sell authentic fashion pieces.

Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE (scam??) experience with Vestiaire Collective.
I shipped my Chopard bracelet on 11 July using the DHL label provided by Vestiaire, and I have photos confirming that DHL accepted the parcel.
After almost a month of waiting for their investigation, I have now been told that the waybill was apparently never sent with DHL — and they are refusing responsibility.
So I am left without my bracelet and without my money, despite having followed their instructions.
Nearly a month to investigate and this is their solution? Completely unacceptable.

Avoid! The single most unscrupulous company ever. Their customer service is a joke, moreover, their internal review of items is just that internal. Not boasting but my whole life I have worn, carried, used luxury brand items and I know authentic vs. counterfeit. The audacity of this joke of company to tell me their internal people did. A desk top review of the item is a complete farce. They actually told “upon review of the item” we deem it real. Hell, they didn’t even have it back yet! I suggested to send it to the Brand boutique in Miami as I live in Bal Harbour, a stone throw to the renowned Bal Harbour Shops. No response on that. Nobody likes being taken advantage and should not be in a buyer beware situation when they could simply refund me as the item did not meet its description as it was completely faulty as well and I addressed that before even buying as it looked faulty in the pictures but they assured me it 100% operable , it was not. Please AVOID! You will become extremely frustrated and down right pissed!

I sold an item on Vestiaire Collective with pictures of the item true to condition and an apt description. Someone bought the item then after the fact commented on the sale page multiple times asking for a discount and publicly reminding me of her apartment number unnecessarily. She had already purchased it so I said politely that I’d send it to her for the number she agreed to in her purchase. I could tell she was perhaps going to be a bit difficult. Indeed she received the item and complained to Vestiaire Collective that it wasn’t the right quality and sent it back. I don’t hold VC accountable for her difficulty but I don’t appreciate that my time and money ended up being wasted and there was no protection for me as the seller. They just sent it back, didn’t pay me, I was out the shipment money and the wasted time and effort, and they told me my seller rating would go down because of this. I sold the item on another platform and won’t sell on VC again. It’s not worth it.
Update: VC replied to my review and explained that they had an honest review process where they checked the buyer’s photos against the listing themselves. Fair enough. It was in the same condition I’d bought it from from their website two years prior and I was ok with it but we all perceive things differently. It was still not a good experience but more fair than I initially thought according to their policy so I’m changing my rating from 2 to 3 stars. I still won’t buy or sell there in the future.

You lose a lot of money because of the fees taken by the app, it’s too much. The procedures are so long. Like it took 20+ day from the selling to processing the Payment. ( still i haven’t received it yet). To be completely constructive and honest, i’d prefer to buy and sell via Vinted

The process was simple but I’m pretty positive the bag I received is a fake. I paid extra for authentication so I am frustrated and hesitant to purchase from here again. I removed the tag shortly after receiving it so I’m out of luck. The feel of the leather is just not there. I have a real new and smaller version of the purse, same leather, and can feel a significant difference.
