Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 86 reviews, reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention the exceptional delivery service, noting that orders always arrive extremely quickly and are securely packed with such wonderful care. Buyers are thoroughly impressed by the exceptionally healthy root systems, sturdy specimens, and overall wonderful value provided across a very diverse botanical selection. However, some customers also noted genuine frustration with poor plant quality or extremely disappointing seed germination rates experienced across multiple different ordered varieties. A small number of individuals occasionally received broken or damaged stems inside flimsy cardboard boxes with insufficient internal protection during transit.

Not plants just broken branches

Not very good quality plants but just some broken branches with no leaves.
A complete waste of money, as the plants were very expensive - not nice to be treated this way from the moment they got real money not fake.

I ordered some fuschia plants online to…

I ordered some fuschia plants online to be delivered to my sister, who lives fairly close to Victoriana, as I live 100 miles away.
Victoriana kept me informed at each stage of packing, posting, etc.
My sister was thrilled with the plants. They were in really excellent condition, quite substantial, in good-sized pots.
I was notified when to expect delivery, and it was on time.
Everything was a great experience, and I recommend Victoriana Nursery for beautiful, strong plants, and excellent customer service.

Very impressed with service of Victoriana Nursery Gardens. My Black Mulberry tree (of nursery rhyme fame -"Here we go round the Mulberry Bush!) arrived this morning -well-grown & packed so well - and I'd only ordered it on Monday , and here it is 2 days after.
Many thanks Victoriana - will be passing word round & see what other things you grow.

Mail order perfection

My (mail order) plants were delivered on time in tip top condition. The plant packaging is the best I have seen in mail order plants, and I would not hesitate to order from Victoriana Nurseries again. Class company to deal with!

not as good as usual

Just received a very sad 10cm high raspberry plant with tiny leaves for £13.95 and £100 of myob and various other small perennials that are half dead. Yes we are in a drought but my other plant orders have all arrived super healthy and flourishing. Have been buying from Victoriana for years but will hesitate to order again.

Pleasantly surprised.

I honestly did not know what to expect from a nursery who has no presence on social media. I was so excited and pleasantly surprised 248when the not so common herbs arrived. They were well packed and survived the heat. I can definitely recommend this nursery and will order more herbs once I can make place for more pots!

Poor quality plants

In my opinion the plants purchased from this company were simply divisions torn from a mother palnt, the thyme had been place into a pot with a black soggy compost and no signs of root.
I had high hopes which were not fulfilled.

0% germination of seeds

0% germination of seeds - chillies and tomatoes.
Grew other varieties in exactly the same medium as the seeds from this supplier but sadly I had none germinate.

Ah well, lesson learned

Love this company

Love this company. It’s super efficient, feels very customer orientated and plants were delivered in superb condition. Would also commend them on using plants wrapped in newspaper (wrapped in a small plastic bag) vs plastic pots. Would definitely use Victoriana again

Plants arrived in good shape

The plants arrived just a couple of days after I ordered them. They are in good health, with the roots still damp. I have always had great plants and great service from Victoriana Nursery.

Worst plants I've ever received.

Do not buy from them. This is my second order from Victoriana Nursery, and both have arrived in extremely poor condition. The latest plants arrived with a heavy spider mite infestation, with one hardy kiwi already showing severe yellowing and damage. My previous complaint was dismissed, and this time I was told there was nothing wrong with the plants and asked to pay to return them before a refund would be considered. Stay away from this nursery. The worst plants I've ever received and not even a simple appology from the company for sending infested plants. I wish I could upload a picture in here.

I am so pleased with my first order…

I am so pleased with my first order from Victoriana. My plants arrived quickly and were well packed. The plants themselves are sturdy and much bigger and well developed than expected, so definitely exceed expectations (particularly as I have previously ordered from other larger online retailers and have been disappointed). The prices and variety are fantastic. I'll definitely be ordering from Victoriana again!

Disappointed

I was very disappointed with this. I bought 5 basil plants. They shipped in a box full of shredded paper, and little else, so i was demented trying to take them out and clean all the confetti off the plug plants. Once I did, I realised it was a waste of time. They were very poorly. I will try and bring them back to life, but I would recommend staying away from this nursery online

I've been in contact with this nursery regarding obtaining a particular plant..
Off all the plants you can buy online nowadays I was very happy to wait until the plant I bought was available to purchase.
The name of the plant I bought was a Fuchsia,by Harry Dawson called fushia Connie....

Pleased with my purchases

Items arrived well packaged and clearly labelled. The Jostaberry were much bigger than I expected. The little plug plants looked sturdy and just needed to be potted up, to grow on a little more. Pleased with everything

Fantastic customer service

Fantastic customer service and very quick to respond. When I ordered some stevia plants last year, unfortunately two of them died. I contacted the company and they were brilliant – they replied quickly and sent out replacements without any hassle.

The plants are good quality, the customer service was excellent, and I'm really happy with the way everything was handled. I'd definitely recommend them and will definitely order from them again.
