This company is the worst for your Business, avoid to use it at all costs.
I recently opened a Viva Payments business account and uploaded all the required documents immediately. Since then, I have received no response. I've called and talked with the customer service but they are clueless. They avise you that it takes 1-4 business days and they assured me that after that the account will be verified. It's been 14 days now and still counting.
The live chat is useless; every time, customer service repeats the same script: "We have escalated your issue to specialists, and you will receive an email." However, I never receive any emails or update.
It seems they do not care about their clients or how their inefficiency hurts businesses. The verification process has taken almost two weeks with no updates. Customer service has no idea what's going on in the technical department and only informs you that someone has been notified.
Because of this issue, we have lost customers. Avoid this company at all costs—their verification process is unbearably slow and poorly managed. The worst company to use for business accounts.
Update 28/6/2024 - Regarding viva.com reply below, I am communicating with the chat service almost everyday since 5/6, but the Customer Service Employess have no idea regarding the issue and the department that has the issue does not inform them or me about the matter.
I have sent an email to the support email and have had no answer yet.
I am not sure from where you requested my contact information but if you ask your customer service you about the issue since 5.6 they will for sure provide you with all the contact information you need.
Enough with the excuses.

It is impossible to reach the company in any way, neither for payments nor for any technical service. They barely have a phone number listed on their website. I have been waiting for two years to return the POS machine they gave me five years ago. I have called and messaged them countless times, but I have not encountered a single person to address my queries.

Terrible. Terminated my account with no explanation. Asked me on 4 different occasions for different documents to be verified which I provided. The only reason given was ‘read clause 4 and 11’ in the T’s & C’s. Poor customer service and very bad, long, complicated onboarding process, especially for new businesses.

To verify the account you need to upload way too much documents, only to get full access to the account and realize that it is all empy promises. What the sales person tell you their service has, is not a guarantee that their service actually has it. The basics to be called a "bank account" are not covered.

Caleb was incredibly helpful while assisting me in trying to get my website up and running. His patience, professionalism, and genuine willingness to resolve the issue were greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the setup—not due to Viva Wallet, but because the CBD franchise I was previously with, Milagro CBD Oil, had lab reports issued under an entirely different company name, JCB Health.
At the time, Milagro were quite eager to point the finger at Viva Wallet… but it has since become very clear where the real problem originated.
Despite the circumstances, I’m very pleased with the level of support and transparency shown by Viva Wallet. Caleb went above and beyond, and the service was excellent throughout. I would happily recommend Viva Wallet based on my experience.

Firstly, I want to clarify that all employees, from A to Z, support each other. If you have a complaint, they may direct you to email a specific address. However, it often turns out that the same person who directed you to email that address has access to it. They seem indifferent to how disappointed and frustrated you may be. Their main goal and target are to sell something to you, regardless of your requirements.
Later on, they may backtrack on promises made during the sales pitch, citing reasons such as your credit history, and may impose unknown fees and high commissions. Initially, they may claim superiority compared to other options, but in reality, they may mislead you just to get you onboard.
Many employees work remotely, often facing language barriers and relying on commission-based incentives. The more customers they "catch," the more money goes into their pockets.
It's essential to be cautious and not fall victim to these practices. Awareness is key to protecting yourself from potential exploitation.

My experience with Viva.com has been nothing short of a nightmare. After creating an account and being promised verification within 1-4 business days, I waited patiently. But days turned into weeks with no communication whatsoever. When I reached out to customer support, I was met with nothing but excuses and empty promises. Two weeks later, my account still wasn't verified, rendering me unable to access the funds I was supposed to receive.
To add insult to injury, Viva had the audacity to charge me a fee for their nonexistent services, and of course, that fee was nonrefundable. It's clear they have no qualms about taking money from their customers without providing any value in return.
Their website is a disaster as well. It's like they want to make it as difficult as possible for you to use their services. You get logged out if you so much as blink, and don't even get me started on their glitch-ridden mobile app.
Save yourself the headache and steer clear of Viva.com. There are plenty of other payment gateways out there that actually deliver on their promises. I applied to Mollie and Square, and guess what? I was verified in less than 24 hours with both of them. Do yourself a favor and choose literally any other option besides Viva.

I do not reccommend this service for any Cypriot business as they require stupid paperwork which is not mandatory from JCC for example, their support service is useless they can not do nothing to help you. Very bad Very bad service and their is nothing more annoying than their 5 minute automated logout even if you use the website it logs you out if you dont refresh the clock on the top right corner nothing more spastic design I ever seen in any website.

Every time you need them at the support , they will tell you different things and also they dont have a CRM to know the history of each issue
They sent me a POS that is damaged , and 20 days have passed and they still havent replaced it so i am losing money because of them . Do NOT waste your time with these unproffesionals

I use Viva some years now.
I believe that they started with really positive approach.
The last 2 years their customer has started being really bad.
If you call, you may wait for hours. If you write to chat, you may have a silly bot or an untrained person writing you some 'copy-pasted' phrases, without effort to hear and give you solution. If you want to pay a state service (in Greece), the menu is chaotic.
Really pity for them.

This company is a joke. I have recently opened a business account with them on 5 April. Uploaded each and every document which was required since then no any response received from them. Their live chat is so useless every time they repeat same script ' We have esclated your issue to specialists you will receive an email' but never received any email they do not care about their clients that how it hurt their business. Please avoid this company the verification process will take long and long.

I had been a customer with Viva Wallet for nearly 3 years and was generally happy at first. However the first problem - I changed mobile phone (which was needed to authorise payments using MFA). I contacted Viva about this and it took over a month and multiple calls and messages before this was fixed. Changing mobile phone cannot be an uncommon problem, but the customer service was unbelievably bad, repeatedly misunderstood the simple issue and took far too long to fix, without apology. Then a few weeks ago I was asked to submit documents to re-verify my account. Every time I uploaded something I was then asked to upload something else. After days and days of very unclear instructions and uploading passports, driving licenses, declarations, passports again, I asked if they couldn't tell me everything they wanted so i could just upload it all at once? Got a snotty reply that made no sense talking vaguely about regulations and how they didn't know what they would need until I had uploaded each item. The whole experience was so frustrating and inflexible that I couldn't carry on using the company. In summary, generally ok, but what should be very small problems are turned into huge sources of frustration that waste a massive amount of time. Cannot recommend.

I have just registered with Viva Wallet Greece as a small business. The process to open the account has been horrendous, hours and hours on virtual queues for verifications and almost impossible to get through to customer service. I gave it the benefit of the doubt but upon the first transaction extra fees appear - I then had to spend 4 hours on queues (chat and phone) trying to figure out what they were about. Needless to say I am planning to cancel my account (hopefully without spending another half a day trying to reach customer service).
