Had to repeat myself 8 times to confirm they sold something that wasn't fit for purpose.
Had to chase a refund that they forgot to process, very poor service.

Gives no useful information. The only thing I used it for was monitoring battery health. It always showed as low for over a year, but worked fine. When the battery was drained so the car wouldn’t start, no difference in what was shown. Why not show voltage? So of no use to monitor battery. Other information provided was useless and patronising - for example telling you not to be afraid to top up washer fluid and telling you how. That would be fine if there was a range of more in depth diagnostics and of information. Trying to book services was useless. Far too few affiliated providers nationally. The feature to diagnose tyre wear from pictures seems a poor attempt to be relevant. All in all, harmful to my view of the ever declining AA brand.

Never will I use VIXA again. I placed order for 2 but when trying to register for account etc they couldn’t give me the time of day to sort it out was alway the “ IT departments” fault. They had no time scale when issues would be fixed. Customer service is diabolical

Vixa feels like a rushed, in-house compromise rather than a finished product. Conceptually it seems like a disconnect was made between proposition and implementation, likely due to limited expertise and budget. The entire user journey from registration and installation to setup is poorly executed, and the core features are virtually non-existent. It lacks the polish of a rigorously user-tested application. Ultimately, this release reflects poorly on the AA, making the brand appear out of touch and desperate for forced innovation rather than delivering functional value.

Completely useless. It doesn’t detect any fault codes, even though my vehicle is showing that it needs an inspection. My old car is still listed on the app despite me requesting multiple times for my vehicle details to be updated. The only response I keep getting is that they’re updating their systems and it will take some time.
All this app seems to do is track how much you drive and report it back to AA, which then results in an increased premium. A total waste of money.

Install this device at your peril! A day after installing I got a dashboard error on the way to work saying my battery wasn’t charging and I needed to stop my car possibly due to alternator failure. I had to get my car recovered and ended up losing 3 days work because my car was in the garage. The garage did a full diagnostic and found nothing wrong with my car they also reprogrammed my car to be safe. The only thing they recommended was remove the Vixa device, because this is the only thing they could deduce would cause errors with the electronics when the car was fine with no previous electrical problems prior to plugging vixa in. Also be aware if you don’t continue your subscription there is a sneaky additional £25 surcharge if you don’t return their piece of phoney technology. I should be claiming compensation for loss of earnings.

Brought the vixa had no documentation and the website doesn’t work.
I’m really infuriated

My car had an engine problem which I was aware of (turbo pressure issue due to hardened diesel particulates clogging up the pipework). I started using AA Vixa which picked this up along with another issue that I was unaware of (glow plugs malfunction). When our family friend who is an experienced mechanic looked at it, he confirmed that 2 of the 4 glow plugs weren’t working. He fixed both issues. Vixa device says engine is now good (green). It works superbly, will use forever. Tyre assessment and parked car finding feature works well. No brainer for me, and will use for the foreseeable future! Nice little discount too as I’m with the AA for breakdown cover
It doesn't do anything that a modern car doesn't already do!

I’m a Gold Member of AA but Vixa are not communicating at all with me and I’m getting frustratingly annoyed with AA and Vixa because of this. You have had several app updates since I reported this issue but no resolve for me.
Vixa surely cannot be proud of themselves, that after 6-months of my app not working your IT department still hasn’t resolved this issue.
I don’t know of any other app service provider, whereby the customer been without a service and their service provider has been unable to resolve an App issue.
It’s now time for Vixa to be honest and truthful and verify if my app will ever be fixed and if not what action you’re going to undertake by them.

Been with them for just over a week and still not working, though I spoke to customer service plenty of times they say it's the app. I'm very close now to sending it back as this is a joke

Had this now about four weeks and it has never worked properly. There is constant problems on the app and the company don’t seem to be able to resolve them either. I had some repair work done at one of their trusted garages and when it came to payment it wouldn’t work. I told them I had tried on numerous occasions and had even received a messages telling me they could contact debt collection to secure the payment. They then admitted it was a fault on the app and it still hasn’t been resolved and I had to pay over the phone. The app is also showing a critical error two weeks after my repair was done and again I am told this is a problem with the app. I am now unsubscribing and wouldn’t recommend this product.

Product is very useful to ensure my vehicle is in tip top condition
Works perfectly, sits in the background until it’s needed. Easy to use
Brilliant bit of kit, shows battery health and engine health status, it also can be used to track your vehicle which comes in handy when you forget where you parked your car like me 🤦🏻♂️
Installation was easy. Unfortunately the Vixa said my engine was healthy. However my mechanic has found that it is most definitely not. Tapping sound from engine , now the car needs a whole new engine !!

Got this vixa thing for our car as there is definitely something wrong with our car but in the app it says its perfectly fine. The gear goes back to neutral when I turn it to drive. Definitely dangerous but vixa says my car is fine. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
