Got this vixa thing for our car as there is definitely something wrong with our car but in the app it says its perfectly fine. The gear goes back to neutral when I turn it to drive. Definitely dangerous but vixa says my car is fine. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Great tool in health checking my battery and if i have any engine faults. Also great links for servicing and tyres. Also love to see where my car is parked especially in busy car parks, pin points me spot on where i left it
Excellent piece of kit very easy to install, the battery health check was very accurate and the tyre wear scanner is a brillant edition. The virtual mechanic function has given me some great advice in regards to keeping my vehicle winter ready.

App is poor. Incredibly slow to update and frequently crashes. Many parts of the App don't even work.
The only thing worse than the App is the customer service when you have an issue. Slow and unresponsive.
Won't use again.

Really nifty piece of kit! For someone who finds understanding how my car works quite daunting, I've been really relieved having the Vixa device over the last 12 months. It gave me a heads up on when my MOT was due which I booked direct through the app, and the tire checker feature is great - gives me peace of mind on long journeys!

Wow, well done AA for lauching this new device. Its a game changer for your vehice and a must. It lets you know in advance when a problem is arising and also has advice on what the probable cause is. You have online technical support team on hand for further advice ensuring the vehicle is safe to drive. Books your vehicle in for MOT and for repairs nearby and the best thing of all, it has a built in device so you know where your car is or was last parked. So simple but elegant. 100% recommended!
Useless Device, horrible customer service, takes forever to hear back from the customer support, they charge you £6 monthly for a service they don't even provide. Every single time their app fails, app logs you out from your phone, there are many better brands that you can use such as " car pal "

I installed it and it seemed ok but then I had a failure of cylinder-3 injector of which it had not given any warning (£420 repair) it then showed a “low severity” fault with the glow plugs, so I had them replaced but Vixa continued to show the fault after they had been fixed - I contacted customer support who told me they would reset my Account and from that point onwards Vixa hasn’t worked. Contacting customer support is an utter waste of time, they are really useless - I reported the issue and chased it several times and they don’t get back to give any updates on what is happening (If anything) and give no idea as to when the problem will be fixed. I had expected better from the AA

I subscibed to the AA vixa monitoring app.
This morning my battery was flat. The app stated that my battery was in good condition. I called AA out and they diagnosed that the battery had failed. I can only assume that it has never worked. I feel conned. Wish I had seen the other reviews before subscibing.

bought And installed vixa on 31st Aug 2025. I've had the device for 6 weeks now And after multiple software updates 2 months refund it's still not working.
It has never been working since I installed it and they keep telling me next week they have an update. Next week comes and goes and still not working.

Signed up in September, email confirmation advised that the vixa device would arrive in 3 to 5 days. On the 7th day called to find out where it was to be told that the despatch team had not received my order. Guy on the phone apologised and issued a credit for the 3.99 I paid when I signed up. Also said he'd get the device posted out. Several days later I called again and after speaking with a somewhat rude customer service operator (Abdul) he told me that he did not know when I would receive the device. Clearly there is a supply issue but in the meantime the AA is still allowing orders and taking people's money! I raised a complaint but wholly expect it's been filed in section BIN. Save your money people.

Waste of time and money ! Thought it would be useful for engine health , it’s telling me my engine is good but in the car there is a red warning light showing low coolant level !! So what’s the point ?!!! Sending it back and cancelled my subscription

Garbage. Despite unplugging and rebooting the device doesn't show my driving score. Ended out cancelling. Poor customer support and response times.
