I , like numerous others , have been duped into buying this voltbox rubbish. I have returned the item weeks ago and it looks like I won't be receiving a refund any time soon.

Real ideas to save electricity

In business I first heard these great sensibility checks...

"If it looks like a dog and smells like a dog it probably is a dog."

"If it sounds too good to be true it probably is!"

So NO I'm not buying one of these....

Generally cost saving business cases range from 4% to 8% once all other costs have been considered. So 90% is logically impossible unless you turn off your electricity completely. In which case you don't need a Volt box to do that.

My suggestion (which I am doing) is examine your lightbulbs and change them to very low voltage LED types one at a time if you have to. I found my low voltage lights ran off a standard transformer still driving 35W bulbs. So the whole thing is being replaced with 3.5W led bulbs. Turn off appliances that have a standby function (unless they're essential) our printer for example has been on standby until now but we only use it once or twice a week since most documents are emailed. Even if you use it regularly, you don't use it when your asleep or not in the office turn it off.

There are many other examples.......if you look you'll find them. hope this helps. DC

Scammers!

Scammers!
The energy-saving box Voltbox markets itself by being able to save up to 90 percent of electricity costs. But the reports against the company are pouring in and experts dismiss the technology.

SCAM

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!!!!
The led lights are on but no one’s home.
I bought 3 of these & my power bill went UP!!! The led lights must draw power...
I contacted voltbox for a refund & they said if I send them back, they would give me a refund. Problem is - I dropped them in the bin. I should have just taken $85 out of my wallet and put that in the bin. Would have saved me a lot of trouble.

Ripped off again.

Looks like another scam, we fell for the b.s. fake reviews and of course it made no difference to our electricity bill. Certainly doesn't work in North QLD. So I doubt it would work anywhere else. Regards Don.

suspiciously

suspiciously, look details to the day of the comments, fake fake fake, "instantly save money??electric bill drop??" those words make me ask did their bill comes every day or every week or month, mine comes every second months, how do they know it works is due to the gadget, or they just use less that period.
