Super Convenient Service with Excellent Customer Support

I've been using Volvo On Demand for about two years now, and it has been an absolute game-changer for when I don’t own a car but need one for a short time. Whether it's for just a few minutes or a couple of hours, the convenience of the service is unmatched.

The cars are always top-notch, electric, and eco-friendly, and they are consistently clean and well-maintained. I also love that they are conveniently located in some of the best spots around the city, so I never have to worry about parking or finding one close to me.

One of the best things about Volvo On Demand is their customer service—they are beyond helpful. Every time I’ve needed assistance, their team has gone above and beyond, thinking outside the box to help, and they do it all with a smile that you can feel even over the phone.

The only improvement I could suggest for the future would be the ability to drop the car off at a different location than where you pick it up. That would add another level of flexibility to an already amazing service.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service—the cars, the prices, and the options are all fantastic. Volvo On Demand is the perfect solution when you need a car without the hassle of ownership.

A fantastic car-sharing experience

A fantastic car-sharing experience. Whilst it is not the cheapest, their cars are always brand new, clean and fully charged. It's always a super reliable service to use and I'm very pleased. A shout-out to customer support too - who are excellent and respond to queries accurately and very fast.

My one bit of feedback would be: it's fantastic for short trips driving around Stockholm. However, if you need to drive for a longer distance or for a longer trip, their KM pricing quickly makes this incredibly expensive and not possible. I had an upcoming 1 week trip to Oslo and I would've loved to have used On Demand but it just isn't set up for these types of trips - the km pricing would have made it 3x more expensive than a traditional rental from Hertz. I didn't want to go with Hertz, but I had no choice. Not sure what you guys can do here (perhaps include KM packages or offer a weekly rental rate with a large included km package) - but that's the one thing missing from making this an otherwise perfect service.

I like the service but the photo requirement adds an undue burden to the user.

I like the service, but the recent addition of the photo requirement at the end of the reserveration is a significant detractor from my experience.

I understand why you guys do it, but as a frequent user I feel burdened and distrusted.

You should publish numbers, what the statistical foundations of adding this unskippable requirement are.

Nice but expensive

The service is nice, but too expensive. I would prefer smaller, older cars, in exchange for a lower rental price.

When you rent a car, for example, that cost is often added without you seeing it when you book. For longer bookings, it can be a lot of money.

We also offer Volvo cars that are better equipped than many other rental cars. Moreoever, you can always choose the model for your liking when you book. The reason we are using newer models is so we can promise that you will have all features we offer included in your booking.

And we are open 24 hours a day, so you can always call us or chat in the app if you need help with anything.

Reliable app with nice car - pricey but reliability is king!

The Volvo On-Demand app worked without problem, the car was nice, fresh, and all worked well - also, a "life saver" as the car share scheme that I'd originally booked failed (the app wouldn't connect / activate the car - KINTO in Lund) which had made me late for a volunteering event in the next town... could be cheaper, but, reliability is king!

Bad service and support

Mileage estimated is unused.
Electricity is my own expense even if I pay mileage alredy.
Extended times to recharg are paid by me.
Incorrect information during call supports.

Excellent service!

Excellent service to rent a car fast and efficient. Good cars as well.
I have come to the insight that it is so much more convenient and cost less to not own my car. I go with taxi (Uber and Bolt) to the office and back and rent a car whenever I need one from M.

Review 2024

The app works great, the service works great and the card to refuel the car is easy to use.
But, my last rent was an XC90, so, top of offer and the car was actually in a bad condition.
It looked like the car has being used as moving van transport. Damages inside in the rear area and really dirty. So, a bit disappointing by being the top offer.

Excessive and expensive

I like the app and there are usually cars available. It is just too expensive. This is our last choice among other options. I wouldn’t mind driving around in a car that is a few years old. It feels excessive and like you pay very much to drive around promoting brand new Volvo car releases.
