A very professional service

A very professional service. Great communication, speedy response. Josh did a great job on our oven. It looks like new. He kept the whole area covered,
to protect our floor and worktop, cleared up afterwards and was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite.

Very disappointing and unprofessional…

Very disappointing and unprofessional service.

I booked Vulcan Hygiene for a steam clean of a carpet in a three-storey house. At the time of booking, I clearly explained the layout of the property and that the room was at the top of the house. I was also told that their truck-mounted steam cleaning machine would be suitable for the job.

When the operative arrived, he took one look and immediately said the job couldn’t be done because the room was “too high”. He insisted the hoses would have to be run through the entire house, rather than using the far more practical option of feeding the hose through the stair banisters or the top-floor window.

No cleaning was carried out, yet I have now been sent a bill for £59.

I find this completely unacceptable. The job was pre-agreed, they failed to deliver, and I should not be charged for their lack of planning or capability.

I would not recommend this company based on this experience.

5 star service!

The booking process was incredibly easy, and arranging a time that was suitable. Carlos arrived early and the job did not take long at all. Carlos was professional, efficient, and did an absolutely Sterling job on all very dirty oven! I will definitely be recommended in this service to my friends and family. Thanks Vulcan and Carlos.

Vulcan Hygiene Ltd - Stephen

Received a call from Stephen on the morning he was due, letting me know when he would be arriving. He talked me through the paperwork and explained a further option for cleaning the lounge carpet. Stephen was professional, polite, tidy and chatty. I was asked also if i need any help returning furniture back to the living room. The sofas are looking brighter already and still need to fully dry and the carpet looks new.
I wouldn’t hesitate in using Vulcan Hygiene Ltd. again or recommending them. I thought the price was very reasonable too. Many thanks!

Excellent- Customer Service - Oven

Excellent, customer service, J Atkinson the engineer, was very very good, methodical, ensured a tidy work area throughout, removed all rubbish and left the work space as it was found. Was accommodating, professional and engaging.
Very pleased with the work from Vulcan.

Shocking !

Shocking !! Trying to claim our 300 pounds back after they were meant to clean our sofas and carpets. They use a spray and rotary head with a pad. Well obviously it doesn’t work.
Told us we would get a thorough clean.
In less than two hours a lounge two longer sofas a huge straircase and landing which is bigger than one of our rooms, was cleaned ??
We was told to leave the rooms for two hours. So we did. I’m going into the room with socks only incase I soil the carpets with slippers with it being damp… thinking be careful I’ve noticed my socks are damp and dirty.
So tested the sofas and they were dirty.
Spent two nights cleaning myself and my family helped move units.. it was meant to be a Xmas clean. When I reported it they took their time in getting back so we had no choice but to begin cleaning as now we have limited time until Xmas expecting guests.
They told us no money back what so ever even after showing them photographs.
They said they dirt off the socks could’ve been from the flooring which is ludicrous as we wear slippers and only wore socks on the so called treated areas to protect what we thought was damp and clean!!!!
I used to work in the cleaning profession so I know more than maybe the average person but tbh you wouldn’t need to be trained to notice stains.
Even when the guy was working I said the stains on the landing are still visible!
He said it’s probs because your used to seeing them!! But at the time I was exhausted & working myself so didn’t challenge this.
They get you to sign a form to say it’s all been done but tell you to keep off the areas for a couple of hours.
We have lost such a lot of money.
They offered to do a re clean but it was a Xmas clean I was after so this wasn’t acceptable. They sent us a link to leave feedback but because I told the truth they emailed me to say because I’ve left negative feedback I wouldn’t get a re clean which isn’t necessary now anyway.
Lots of ppl on Facebook discussing similar cases. I’m not the only one.
My carpets and sofas were lightly soiled from my young shihtzu as when he races in he can have damp paws. This all was cleaned summer so it’s all a bit much.

We have said it’s not worth the bad press they are receiving as a small business so isn’t it better to refund.
I wanted to book them for my ovens patio and possible guttering.
But under these circumstances can’t trust them

This company excel at customer service

This company excel at customer service. Lewis on the telephone kept me informed of when Evan was going to arrive.

When Evan arrived he was lovely. He prepared the areas well ,discussed how was the best way to get in and out of the house to do the work in the van . He did a really good job with our oven. He was pleasant, efficient and a pleasure to do business with. Thank you

Excellent service from the Vulcan technician today who cleaned my Neff oven. The technician was friendly, professional and took care in ensuring that the surrounding areas were kept clean and tidy. He was thorough and efficient and did a fantastic job.

Guttering

Great communication, friendly and speedy service. We live next to woods so guttering was full of leaves / pine needles / moss etc. Steve removed half a garden waste bin of the debris from the gutters. Would definitely recommend.
