I got off to a bit of a tricky start with the Proton Watt Bike as we couldn’t quite understand the requirements of the hub and the information we needed to input to use the bike at our level. However, after some very helpful input from their customer service team, we are loving the bike and using it to our abilities. Once customer services were able to help, we were literally up and running.
The bike itself feels great and the range of settings is really extensive so each member of the family is opting to do their own training program.

Did plenty of research before deciding to thank the plunge and order the Wattbike Proton for use by myself and my wife. I wanted something to help maintain cycling fitness during the poor weather whilst my wife just wanted to improve her general fitness level. After ordering the bike arrived within the allotted time and was very easy to set up. Whilst still very new we have both used it several times and are very pleased with it. I have had a few issues with the Wattbike hub disconnecting or not uploading a session but have put this down to teething issues and I’m sure I’ll sort it out. Other than this very pleased.

It ok, but long time waiting for service as they do not supply the parts for bike without booking the engineer even you know what needs to be replaced and how to do it. Month waiting for engineer to come is a bit to long.

Issue identified was not fixed by the engineer despite his claim it was sorted. Replacement pads promised but not supplied. Still talking to some AI machine and waiting for a fix. Nothing happening fast.

Once I had got away from the ai chat which is useless and very off putting to the point where I would not deal with the company anymore and spoke to a real person the service was polite quick and efficient.

I was one of the unlucky ones, where a delivery issue made my bike not work from new! The box did not look damaged and neither did the bike, but it was not allowing any resistance.
After contacting WattBike they put a plan in action which started with a service engineer being assigned. The outcome was a simple fix for them and I was up and running. Sometimes things do not go perfectly but the way a company reacts in these circumstances says a lot and I am now very happy with the Proton.

I’ve been really impressed. I knew they were good bikes but they are really very good. They are solid; connect to tech seemlessly; have lots of measures for sizing and the ride is fab.
Delivery was great and interest free payment, a nice touch straight after Xmas.

I bought the Wattbike Proton for my 70th birthday! It’s a great bit of kit and I enjoy it. However, the tech side is a challenge (for me) to understand in order to get the best out of it. I don’t need serious cycling training, Ironman training etc just a simple cardio workout that will keep my heart pumping as long as possible! I guess I’m a bit overawed by it at the moment and need to work out a simple exercise process for me!
