Website box offered a website for one-time fee of $99 then changed the model to $99/year, citing they had no choice because their IDX fees became unmanageable. This is bait and switch. What they should have done is keep their legacy clients under the promised plan, and then offered the $99 set up/$99 per year plan to new customers. Their service was marginal, but can't expect more if you do not choose to opt for add-on services. I'm very disappointed with how they handled their legacy customers.

Do not deal with these people!!! You have been warned. Horrible experience when they ARBITRARILY change an agreement. Not going to waste anymore of my time and money taking them to court. Mapping for listings has not worked for 9 months too!

Avoid them like a plague. They sell you a website plan then change the terms while you're not even half way through the contract. Jacking up the price just because they want to.

How can you trust they won't do it again.

What a waste of time and money. I purchased lifetime subscription only to be dropped unannounced. Their website is pure garbage, doesn't work with chat, doesn't work with google adwords, cannot add any features to track because they are afraid to corrupt their site. Basically a POS template that you can get for free. They suck big time.

I have never encountered a customer support rep as knowledgeable, proficient, and friendly as Nael. Friendly, patient, and a great teacher, in addition to problem solver. He really knows his 'stuff'. The WebsiteBox Team is as good as they come!

They lie and cheat and make false promises. Do not trust them!! They also seem to buy good reviews or just create fake ones on google. Buyers beware!!

RUN AWAY....BUT FIND ME SO WE CAN START A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR FRAUD!
Committed fraud by violating our contract from 2014. "Guaranteed for life" website in 2014 now they want more money! They shutdown my website. Fraud, thieves and dishonest. We need to sue them. Maybe start a facebook page so we can gather names for the class action. Google BBB and WebsiteBox and leave a review there too. Save others from having their money stolen and financial damages I am suffering!

Do not use this company! Horrible service and quite frankly totally dishonest. We purchased a $99 "Guaranteed for life" website, and now they are changing us $99.00 a year for a website with no support, does not link to our IDX market and does not have email outgoing servers. Rip off.

Website Box has stepped up their game. I was able to customize my website and configure it for two locations for search in Northern California and Southern California, as we have two offices. Tiffany Valverde in support really helped me through the process. The value of website box vs the cost is incredible. I highly recommend website box to any real estate company that wants to have an online presence.

Although the templates are nice, they are not mobile friendly at all. The staff are also kind but we are often times met with, "there's no solution for that, there's nothing you can do, the developers will take months to fix that," etc. The map system does not work (only shows 4 of our 160+ listings) and there's no option to remove the map view from the website. We've put in 4 "tickets" to the IT team and nothing has been resolved. You're not able to speak to a manager. You're not able to speak to an IT manager. They give no updates on any of your "tickets" (which have been opened for two months now). Overall, extremely disappointed in the product and service.

They sold thousands of agents a website by offering one-time pricing. Now they decide to reneg on that offer and charge an annual fee to those same customers. Their website continues to display dozens of customer testimonials that praise the one-time pricing model. The annual fee may be modest, but lack of integrity is a deal breaker for me. Find a different provider. There are lots of them.

About 4 years ago I purchased website box, they stated the fee would only be $99 forever! Now they are trying to charge customers $99 each year due to changes on their new platform. Really, you cannot change things after we signed a contract for 99 forever not per year. You chose to change so you should figure out a way to charge new customers, not your customers who have had the services and were promised a one time fee of $99. Based on this, I would not recommend this company to any of my fellow Realtors and Brokers. they are dishonest i am sure they will put something new next year like charge 199.00 per year they can do whatever they want. The platform had many issues before this price increase so I wouldn't dare pay them anything more. I will be finding a new web company even if I have to pay more. I wish someone would start a class action lawsuit. They should not be able to be in business in the USA. Do not be a fool choose another company you have been warned

I paid for the $99 lifetime service,( I am not going to go over every detail) they swithced my site off at some point, so website not working at all, all of a sudden they want to charge a annual fee which is more than my lifetime fee, whats the point of buying a lifetime membership if the seller will not honor it.
That is just bad business

I purchased a $99 lifetime website and as of this year they took it down and now want to charge me $199 year, complete misrepresentation of services offered. I'm complaining to the BBB

I purchased a lifetime enrollment. When they upgraded to the new platform last year, I had difficulty connecting to my local real estate board. I left it there thinking that I could continue using the old platform. Months later, all of the sudden, my email stopped and my website was down. It turns out they removed the old platform entirely and started charging yearly subscription on the new platform. This company does not care about the customers. They should have kept the old platform purchased by customers. It is up to the customer to upgrade. Removing the login and the website is not a fair business practice.

ONE TIME FEE $99 is FRAUD. They signed us up for this 3 years ago, now they want to charge $99 PER YEAR, or $299 PER YEAR !!! This is NOT what was originally advertised, now they just decide to change the rules !!! That is like buying a product at the dealer, then they tell you you owe them MORE money !!! The website is NOT user friendly, and they just told me they have not changed anything as far as the operation, there are MUCH better websites, easier to set up for a LOT less money per month !!!
