unrealistic quotes

I was quoted £176 for my iphone. I classed it as good condition as it had been cased and screen protected the entire time I had it. There was NO heavy marks. It passed ALL the functions. They offered me £55.
At the same time I sent my husbands phone which was had the EXACT assessment report, however they offered £110. I challenged this and they increased the value of my phone to £70. I asked for my phone back!! They will not give you what they quote!!

Avoid

Avoid. Sell your phone to anyone else but these cowboys! Knocked off over £100 due to the most minor of wear. They offer a higher price to suck you in, then slash the price. I refused the offer and they charged me nearly £15 to post it back.

Please AVOID at all costs!!!

Please avoid at all costs for any serious repairs.
I took my 15 Pro to these people for a charging port repair because their quoted price was reasonable and their Google reviews seemed positive. Biggest mistake ever. I should have realised something was wrong when they insisted on cash over card. Less than 24 hours after the repair, the front camera stopped working. "We Buy Any Mobile" couldn’t fix it after almost two weeks of having the phone. Even Apple can't repair it because they’ve damaged it so badly. The county court is now involved since the phone needs to be replaced. They even threatened to throw me out their store for demanding my phone back to have it fixed elsewhere. The main guy who works there is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Please avoid these guys. It was a silly mistake to trust them with an expensive phone, and now they’ve made it obsolete.

Terrible company, cowboys of a phone repair- they tried to steal our phone! They will damage your phone even more and not take any accountability. Very rude and racist. Shame of a company, do not recommend using this company under any circumstances

Samsung S22 valued at £160 however only…

Samsung S22 valued at £160 however only offer £45. Only 18 months old and always kept in case that protected front and back. Phone was immaculate. Wish I had read these reviews prior to posting. Don't care if the pay postage for return as will get a lot more money elsewhere. Rip off.

Practically a scam

They say the phone must be in good condition but in actual fact they mean perfect ‘as new’ condition. My offer was reduced from £18 to £45. Always had screen protector and case. No visible scratches.
I sold it on Ebay!

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid this company.

They made an offer on a mobile, I was expecting that to change based on battery health but when they took off more money for marks and scuffs etc. Aside from the battery, the phone was in a very good condition, well looked after, with original box and screen protector. Seems like they would deduct money for finger prints or dust. Sold for a quick sell but avoid this company like the plague. Will never use this company again. Better off selling private or to another company.

Avoid like the plague

Avoid like the plague, you’ll save yourself A LOT of unnecessary stress and anxiety. Trust the reviews and go somewhere else. You do not want to sell your phone to We buy any phone. Any offer they sell to you is BS and that is not the price you will get once they eventually process your phone.

Avoid We Buy Any Phone

I was offered £621 for my iPhone which I accepted and sent off the phone. A couple of days later they revised the offer down by over 50% to just over £300. They said the phone was damaged. There were very slight marks to the screen but they said it was heavy scratching to the front back and sides. There were no marks at all on the back and sides and the phone has always been in a case.

They say they operate an “honestly policy”. This policy is just words as they don’t appear to be being honest at all. They even tried charging me £10 and then £8 to return the phone to me. After I made a fuss they agreed to return the phone free of charge.

The phone arrived back with me 5 days later. I have since sold the phone to a much more reputable online company for a more reasonable £480.

I firmly believe that the original price offered by We Buy Any Phone was artificially high and not one they would ever have really paid out. Research (I should have done before Isent to WBAP) showed me that the average price for my phone was £400-£480.

We Buy any phone obviously offered a high price in the expectation that I would accept the much lower and below market value offer.

I would avoid this company at all costs.

Good service from the Aldgate store guys

I bought a phone from them which had warranty as well. They offer warranty on used refurbished device as well, that too for 1 year. They have about 5/6 locations in London but I have been to the one in Aldgate. Good service from the guys, smiling and friendly. I wish them all the best.

Utter con artists - DO NOT USE

Utter con artists - sent in my phone in good faith with their 'online' valuation of £200. Phone was in genuine mint condition - boxed and had been in a proper case its whole life. No marks on it - no scratches - nothing. Full working order. Was sent to them in original packaging. They then said there was an issue - showed me a fake video of a phone (supposedly mine but definitely not). IMEI number was NOT shown on phone, just a stick on it. Claimed it was scuffed all around the edges (NOT possible) as was in silicone protective case from the second it was brought home from shop. Scratched screen - just NOT possible as it was in MINT condition and offered me £40 with an 'accept in next 7 days or we take it anyway' note. Trying to PUSH me in to accepting their rubbish offer. The phone they showed in their purported video of my traded in device was a) NOT the phone I sent in AT ALL b) they do NOT show the IMEI number on the device they claim is yours (even though they say they do). I raised this with them when I rejected their rubbish offer (after 30 mins on hold), they basically said I was wrong - and will send my phone back in 48 hrs. I suspect I will either NOT get the phone I sent to them in good faith back at all OR the one they send back will not be the phone I sent in and instead some junk phone they will try and pass off as mine. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they are a complete con.

Con artists commerical road shop

I went to get my Iphone Xr battery replaced and they then gave me a fake and unofficial apple battery then when I noticed they tried to gaslight me saying I'm a smart young man they assumed I already knew they wouldn't use an official battery and then refused to help me in any way shape or form so I wasted £30 extra pounds I didn't have ended up going to apple and getting it properly done which cost me £85 so in the ned spent nearly the same amount I originally spent on the phone. DO NOT GO SCAMMERS

Offered me a price way below market…

Offered me a price way below market value which was also way below their original offer. Stated the phone had more damage than declared, phone was exactly as you would expect a 3 year old used phone to be. Declined their offer and got double the price from one of their competitors
