Communication was good and felt I was informed throughout the experience. The price was great and payment was fast.

They Rip you off and damage ur phone even more then what it already was and they also like to take from a disabled person the money they was promised… and also to say that ur phone has work done on it which was a lie it’s never even had a screen replacement in the 3/4 yrs I had it, so won’t be using theses again

Very disappointed and feel coned by the drastic reduction of offer on receipt of my phone. Downgraded from good to fairly good made a £160 reduction 24% at this point it’s too late as I needed the new phone to transfer data across so are committed!
Payment process was slick and prompt probably as they are rubbing their hands at ripping you off.

Sell the phone for about £189! The phone always had a screen protector and a phone cover and never had any issues and was spotless. If there was any mic issues surely nobody would hear me when talking? It’s actually offensive.

I sent out my iPhone 16 pro max to be sold out. Today I received an email saying they got an empty parcel. The phone is worth 650 to 700£.
The most horrible service ever. They told me that they have requested a refund of 150£ which will take 30 days from royal mail. I am pissed at these people they lost my phone and my phone was in absolute best condition. I wish I would have never trusted this site. If anyone saw this don’t mate I lost 700£. 🤬

After agreeing to a price of £315 online for my phone, I was then bombarded with calls and messages to send it in.

They completed “quality checks” on my phone, which do not check out at all.

They claim to have found:

• wear on the screen
• wear on the rear of the phone
• wear on the bezel

Oh, and “the rear glass has come away from the chassis of your device.”

So they then reduced my offer from £315 down to £70.

Thankfully, I thought something like this may happen, so I took videos of my phone before I sent it in.

One shows me taking it out of the protective case it has been in since I got it, then removing the factory-installed protective film it came with, and lastly removing the screen protector that has been on it since unboxing it.

The second video then shows my phone working, and when the screen goes off, it shows the screen and rear of the phone in mint condition, with the original IMEI factory sticker still attached to the completely intact rear chassis.

What’s more, the video webuyanyphone.com’s own testing team recorded and sent me also shows the front and back of the phone in excellent condition, and does not show the rear glass coming away from the chassis.

Upon contacting customer services to get to the bottom of this, they very generously increased my revised offer of £70 to £80.

This feels like a complete rip-off. Both the evidence I recorded before sending and the footage they have sent me are completely inconsistent with their claimed wear and the alleged issue with the rear glass coming away from the chassis.

Please, take the extra 10 minutes to take a few quality photos and sell your old phone on eBay. webuyanyphone.com aren’t worth the risk.

The explanation of the revised price was clear and understandable. Mohit price matched with another competitor. Plus he was very polite

Terrible company ran by crooks who pray on people wanting to sell their phones quickly.

Sent an iPhone 16 pro max which had had a new front and back replaced through apple. sent the phone next day delivery. Once their 'engineers' saw the phone they tried to reduce the value by over £400.00 stating it was fault (it was not) told them to return the phone immediately in which they did (the next day)

After receiving the phone back i noticed that their 'engineers' had damaged the original box in order to review the phone. For some reason they lacked the capabilities to open an iphone box normally and decided to destroy it.

I have asked for reimbursement for the phone box. They offered a new phone box but this is pointless as it would not have the relevant information relating to my phone.

Wouldn't use them. plenty of other sites around i would suggest using them or selling your phone privately.

NO DOUBT THEY WILL REPLY TO THIS REVIEW WITH SOME JARGON ON HOW THE PHONE WAS FAULKTY BUT DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY.

after further review this company lied about comdition and price offering me £100 and £170 when i asked to send back. i recieved £360 from thompson at local morrisons in assoication wulith music magpie. felt forced to give good review as they had not sent phone back and fear would be famaged if i left bad review
avoid at all cost we buy any phone go to thompsons as you get the price they quite and paid same day.

Mo was really helpful although I’m still waiting for the situation to be resolved he did all he could, asked about my day and helped reassure me. I hope to see the outcome from after he’s escalated the matter to the rest of the team and they can be just as kind and caring.

I told him my phone was going to be worth £105. I sent it off to them and they’re valued it at £20 which is a big difference.

Quoted me £598 for my iPhone 16 pro in immaculate condition that had never been with out a case, screen and camera protector. Then only paid £430 even tho the video showed dust which they’re classing as “damage”. I took a video before I posted my phone and it was in immaculate condition not a single mark bar one line of dust on the corner, if they wiped the phone it would come off. Wouldn’t bother you won’t get the price you asked for even though I know fine well the phone I sent them was PERFECT!

Although I did not accept the offer it was not due to their fault at all. I spoke to Carla-Marie and she was extremely kind and understanding. Would recommend this company if you are trying to sell your device.

I was initially quoted £230 but then after evaluation they said it was £40 which was a significant drop. The phone was in working condition and just had some slight scratches on the back which I had already disclosed. Disappointed in the overall quote.

Even after I got back in touch, at their request, their response was poor. They just responded ‘I hope you enjoyed the experience’. So I’m not sure they even read emails. Sounds like a scam and wouldn’t recommended. Mazumamobile appear to be better.

My experience with We Buy Any Phone was very disappointing.

The online valuation process was straightforward, and I agreed to their offered price. However, I hadn't yet had the opportunity to send my phone, and within a very short time I was being bombarded with automated AI chatbot calls asking why I hadn't posted the device.

I found this persistent contact intrusive and unnecessary. Wanting to discuss the matter with a real person, I tried calling their customer service several times over the course of two days but was unable to get through to anyone. Eventually, I gave up.

After reading other customers' reviews, it appears my experience is not unique. Based on my own experience with the excessive automated calls and the lack of accessible customer support, I would steer well clear of this business.
