We'd like to clarify that when you initially requested to return the item, it was noted that the original packaging had been damaged. As our returns policy is designed to protect both our customers and our business by ensuring returned products remain suitable for resale, this meant the return needed to be reassessed before it could be authorised.

In an effort to resolve the matter as fairly as possible, we agreed to accept the return as a gesture of goodwill. Once the item was received back at our warehouse and inspected, it was accepted, and your refund was promptly submitted for processing. This refund is currently making its way through the payment process.

We appreciate that returning an incorrectly ordered item can be frustrating, and we're sorry that the process did not meet your expectations. However, we do try to apply our returns policy consistently while also looking for reasonable solutions wherever possible, as we did on this occasion.

We wish you all the best and thank you for giving us the opportunity to resolve the matter.

Having reviewed your order, I'd just like to clarify the timeline. Your order was placed on Friday after our order cut-off time, meaning Monday was the first working day for processing. We advise that standard deliveries are typically completed within 2–3 working days.

Your order was dispatched on Monday afternoon on a booking request service, where the haulier contacts the customer directly to arrange delivery. When you contacted us on Tuesday, we chased the haulier on your behalf and advised that you should receive a call within 48 hours. This information was reiterated when you contacted us again later that same day.

When you called again on Wednesday morning, one of our customer service advisers contacted the haulier directly and secured a delivery booking for Thursday 6th August, advising you that delivery would take place before 4:30pm. You then contacted us again on the day of delivery, and we were able to provide you with a further update, including confirmation that delivery was expected before 12:30pm along with your delivery drop number.

Whilst we appreciate that waiting for delivery updates can be frustrating, your order remained within our estimated delivery timescales, and our team actively contacted the haulier on multiple occasions to obtain updates and assist you throughout the process.

For customers who require a guaranteed delivery date, we also offer upgraded delivery services, including specific day delivery and next working day delivery, which can be selected during the ordering process.

We do appreciate your feedback, as it helps us review both our own service and that provided by our delivery partners, and we hope you are pleased with your purchase now that it has arrived.
