Prompt and helpful service
Contacted on Monday morning as lost keys. Had new set by Wednesday. Complicated as car was in a remote area. Contacted both We’ve Got The Key and the locksmith assigned to my call who were really helpful and kept me updated.

This company is TERRIBLE AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, DO NOT USE . THEY USE CHEAP PARTS THAT ALWAYS FAIL. THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT WARRANTY IS ONLY A YEAR DESPITE CHARGING 100S OF POUNDS. THEY WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOUR ENQUIRIES PROMPTLY. THEY WILL NOT REPLACE THE PRODUCT WHEN IT FAILS......

Your Consumer rights and how they differ from a warranty and guarantee
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 states that items must be of satisfactory quality, as described, fit for purpose and last a reasonable length of time. You have these rights for six years in England and Wales or five years in Scotland.
Items must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose as described and last a reasonable length of time. So, for example, if you have bought a washing machine and it breaks after two years you should still be able to claim. However a consumer is expected to use the appliance reasonably. For example, a washing machine may be expected to be used a few times a week. It will show if it has been used every day twice a day for two years and this may be considered unreasonable and you would not get a repair or replacement.
For an item such as a washing machine, or a car etc., the retailer can take off money for use. This needs to be a reasonable “amount”.
You should familiarise yourself with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 before paying for any warranty being offered.

I needed a key prior to going on…
I needed a key prior to going on holiday. I went with this company as they could come on the Saturday and I would be first call.
After waiting for a few hours I had a call to say I was not on the route so could it be rebooked for Wednesdays which I explained I was away and could not do.
No one could tell me over the weekend about my refund and I have just received a call to advise it could be rebooked with a small discount or I could have a refund minus the deposit. I do not see when I booked a service and explained it had to be on the Saturday why a deposit should be sacrificed when they were not able to meet the agreed slot. I am really unimpressed with this company and it is such a shame as the first two gentleman I spoke to were extremely professional and helpful.

Not what I expected
I recently used the services of we’ve got the key!
Initially they were very helpful, whoever, a month later and the key that was made up has stopped working for the car!
I’ve been in contact with them several times and they have not been as helpful as they were when I was paying £295 pounds!
It’s seems that the follow up service is not what they say!

Great company!
After a few hiccups in the locksmith getting here, Dan arrived today to help us gain access to our car due to our fob unsyncing with the car, he was very helpful and gained access in no time. He made us our spare key and checked both keys were working and that there were no warning lights on before leaving. He had great customer service and was very helpful in telling us what had caused the issue. Would definitely recommend using this company if you have any issues with car keys etc.

Great communication from the company to keep me informed. There was a small hiccup, but it was swiftly and efficiently resolved. The locksmith that came out to me was brilliant. He resolved my problem very quickly and was a lovely guy. Highly recommended.

EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE
Refered to them through rac and davis group, originally reported saturday however no one at rac and davis group could find my policy, was told i would be called back and no one called, recalled sunday and job was sent to we got the key. i was told they werent open sunday so nothing could be done until monday.
monday morning i called for time scle on key and was told hadnt recieved job despite rac and davis group saying they had sent it.
was meant to have a call back within 30 mins and no oe did, called back after two hours still no job, was told that i would be caleed in 30 yet again no call.
i called back to be told that a locksmith would be with me for 30 minutes and he came, lovely guy but the parts unfortunately were not right so as hard as he tried was then having to get someone out to me tuesday.
Tuesday came and nothing again , supposedly guy who was coming isnt coming s something needs ordering, it would be sent out then now done tommorow at this point id ran out of travel allowance that was given using sparingly and gone over this also to be told i could have a car hire for three days but wouldnt be reimbursed travel , not very good considering have already spent 120 plus on travel.
Today came and the part is in norwich, no locksmth can come out to me until saturday ive been told, cant pick up the key from them as they said it needs locksmith to install it.
considering this was a job raised as a amber with two disabled people in the house the service has been shockingly slow.
i wont be recommending these or the rac replacement cover to anyone ever again as i dont even know if saturday will come and i will be back in my car or not. save your money and just pay for an independant locksmith people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing service from start to finish
Amazing service from start to finish, locked my keys inside my VW Crafter late Friday afternoon, rang the Liverpool office. Guy on the phone was brilliant, said he would have someone with me within 3 hours, lad turns up in under an hour, gets in causing no damage, also cuts me and programs another key, all within an hour.
First class service and highly recommended, thanks very much 👍

From start to finish excellent service.
Had my bag stolen whilst away, with the only car key in for my vehicle: contact centre were amazing, kept me calm, reassured me and dealt with my call swiftly.
The technician who sorted getting into my car, had it all done before I arrived home, and came back to bring me my key when I returned home.
Kept me informed every step of the way
Highly recommend this company cannot fault them. They eased what was a stressful situation

Lost van keys
Josh & Dan came out to my van today and supplied me with new keys. It was a tough job, they had to remove the ecu to programme new keys but they got it done in only a few hours! Great company to deal with from 1st phone call for a quote to finished job, very good

Excellent service- Michael car key repair
Michael, northwest England, come to see me, updated me on his time of arrival, pleasant bloke, professional. He fixed it within an hour, got my key working plus sorted the car alarm.
Can’t fault the service and speed of bent key repair was done within an hour. Thanks once again. I would definitely recommend this company.

Fantastic service
Like a muppet i locked the (only) key to my Audi A5 in the boot.. WGTK arrived exactly when they said they would, and the locksmith got to work on the boot lock. It was a nightmare job and he tried every trick in the book but did not give up, saying 'he'd not been defeated yet' - After an hour of him grafting in the cold the boot finally popped open and i shouted an expletive in relief (sorry) - he said he was prepared to try for another hour until he won. Fantastic service. I did not take his name, sadly, but for WGTK the call out was in New Alresford at 09.15, so if you can check your records and thank the locksmith i'd be very grateful. Thanks again.

Ripped off
I lost my car key and payed £240 for a locksmith to come and open the car and generate a new key. There was something wrong with the lock so locksmith couldn't generate a new key. Consequently I should have had a refund of £100 so that I was just charged for £140 call out fee. They are only refunding me £40. I feel completely ripped off.
