BEWARE!! Overseas shipping and tariffs!

I ordered some parts online that totaled around $1400. The website claimed these parts were in stock. I expected delivery within a reasonable timeframe (5-7 business days). The parts didn’t actually ship for 2 weeks after order. Then they got held up in customs and I was charged $665 in tariffs. No mention on the website that these parts were coming from overseas and there would be delays and fees. That’s dishonest and shady. I’ll never shop with them again.

However, we would like to clarify that all information regarding shipping and customs fees is clearly stated in our Terms and Conditions, which are accepted and signed before proceeding with the order payment.

"The Customer may be subject to import duties and/or taxes, payable once the products have reached the specified destination and, therefore, cannot be quantified or in any way determined by the Seller."

Regarding the shipping timeframe, please note that your order was received in our system on 20th March and shipped on 30th March.
This means that the shipment was processed and dispatched within 7 working days from payment, which is fully in line with our standard lead times. For this reason, there was no delay in your case.

We assure you that we always do our utmost to assist our costumers at the best of our abilities and for this reason we have been always available for any clarification or support request.

Time wasters

Aware of some negative reviews concerning product delivery times and spotty availability, I contacted WiAutomation to make sure they had the two items I needed in stock and not just on the website. "Yes we do." So I placed my order and... the next day they come back and tell me they have neither product in stock. Website error yeah right. Waste of my precious time.

Don't expect your order anytime soon, if at all

If you want your order in a timely manner do not utilize this company! It was over 4 business weeks (well past their 1-10 business day lead time) for an item they had "in stock". I even paid extra for expedited shipping, which they refused to refund! The only reason I gave them the second star was because they communicated and didn't hide from their misinformation on their site.

**Delivery time vs. stock status**

I ordered an AXC F 3152 controller from WEAutomation and unfortunately my experience left me with mixed feelings.

**Delivery time vs. stock status**

The product was listed as "in stock" on the website, which I interpreted as being available in their European warehouse and ready to ship within a few days. In reality, it took 30 days to arrive. If a product is going to take a month to deliver, it should not be advertised as in stock — that label sets a clear expectation for any professional buyer planning around project deadlines. I would strongly suggest WEAutomation either updates their stock indicators to reflect actual lead times, or clearly distinguishes between "in local stock" and "available on order from manufacturer".

**Hardware and firmware age**

What concerned me even more was the state of the unit when it finally arrived. The controller came with hardware version 02 and firmware version 2020.3 — while the current production units are at hardware version 04 and firmware version 2026.0. This strongly suggests the device had been sitting in their warehouse for more than 4 years before being shipped to me.

Because of this, I had to perform multiple intermediate firmware updates to bring the unit to the latest version, since you cannot jump directly from 2020.3 to 2026.0 — the upgrade path requires stepping through several LTS versions. The whole process took me more than 2 hours of work that I should not have had to do on a brand new product.

**Conclusion**

The AXC F 3152 itself is a solid controller and works as expected now that it is updated. However, paying for a current-generation product and receiving 4-year-old stock with outdated hardware revision is disappointing. I would expect a professional automation distributor to either rotate their stock properly or clearly communicate when older revisions are being shipped.

I hope this feedback helps WEAutomation improve their stock management and transparency for future customers.

Beware

Beware, the prices may look good but even though they say in stock, they are not. They will not accept a return and you will have taxes to pay. They are not based in your country although the web page may seem that way. Customer service is terrible and stop answering you once you ask for a return. Be careful with quotes as they will quote you a so called "equivalent" even though it isn't, then blame you.

You can see their answer below which is wrong and they are operating outside of the uk consumer rights act. Do not deal with these people.

I ordered apart from them in December and they told us it had been delivered, checked our CCTV and it shows different. Tried to cal be no one available. Asked for it to be resent and the same aging and they wont Refund me.

We're very sorry for your dissatisfaction. However, I'd like to clarify the sequence of events in your case.

You placed an order with us in December, and on January 9th you contacted us to report a delivery issue. We immediately assisted you and opened a claim with DHL to investigate the shipment. DHL confirmed that there had been a delivery problem and subsequently refunded the order amount to us.

After carefully reviewing and verifying your case, we generated a new order and arranged a reshipment of the same items a few days later. You later informed us that the order had still not been received, so we reopened the case with DHL in order to provide further support.

In the meantime, we were contacted by your colleague Manuel, who sent us the following message:

“Hi WiA,
We have ordered these parts/items from you repeatedly before, and we are receiving the correct ones, but the last qty of 3 items were incorrect.

We need the GRT1-ID4-1 OMRON, but recently we are receiving the GRT1-ID4 OMRON (without the 1). The engineer said this will not work for the intended use.

Since it cannot be used, we need to process the return.”

After requesting confirmation that this referred to the same order, your colleague confirmed that the shipment related to the claim had indeed been received. Based on this information, we proceeded to close the case with DHL.

We also informed you that, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, returns from companies are not accepted.

We would like to reiterate that your case has been handled promptly and with full support at every stage, including opening and managing the carrier claim, arranging a replacement shipment, and maintaining follow-up throughout the process.
For this reason, we would like to distance ourselves from what you just wrote since we assisted you in everything you asked of us from beginning to end.

Highly delayed responses to the anyway…

Highly delayed responses to the anyway of communication, AI generated emails and not sure still if our order will be delivered, seems to be scam, no one take call, order ex stock 3 weeks later not with us. Highly not recommended !!!

Very slow delivery

First order on this site.

**Positive:** Email responses are fairly quick and the prices are reasonable.

**Negative:** However, delivery and shipping costs seem excessive — more than €33 for a small parcel (probably around 2–3 kg). My order was placed a week ago and still hasn’t been shipped. It turns out that the “in stock” label does not guarantee fast dispatch (this is mentioned in their terms and conditions), and shipping can apparently take anywhere from 1 to 10 days — closer to 10 in my case.

In my opinion, when you charge €33 for shipping/logistics, the process should be flawless, especially for a very simple order: six units of a single product. The explanation from customer service was that my order comes from two different warehouses (for the same item?) and is then sent to a third logistics site before final dispatch. This doesn’t seem very efficient to me.

I will update my review once I receive the goods.

EDIT : I keep this notation, as I didn't receive my order on time...
They call me to explain me they tried to optimize delay, but took around 2 weeks for a delivery with a single reference...

Misleading “In Stock” Status, Undisclosed Charges, and Delivery Delays

The service and response time are really not acceptable. The order was placed on 23 January, and despite the items being marked as “in stock,” there was no update until 28 January. On that date, support advised: “Due to the dangerous goods declaration, there is a surcharge to pay of 520 AED if you wish us to ship with our DHL account.”

This Dangerous Goods surcharge was not disclosed during checkout, where Express DHL was the only shipping option available. After paying the additional fee on 28 January, I was informed that dispatch of the batteries which are listed in stock, would only be expected by the end of the following week (expected 06 February). Since then, there has been no further response from support.

Sasha further explained that the they are a Swiss company and operates with multiple warehouses abroad, stating that delivery times for items marked as “in stock” may vary between 1–10 working days, as the goods must first arrive at their main office before being shipped via DHL Express. This clarification was only provided after the order was placed and payment was made, and it contradicts the reasonable expectation that “in stock” items are ready for immediate dispatch.

Overall, delivery timelines are unclear, additional charges are not transparently communicated at checkout, and customer support response times are extremely slow even during weekdays.
