No stars for this appalling company. I am having a nightmare with them. Wish I’d have used trust pilot first before buying a pair of shoes. Not only have they charged me twice for the item, they will not admit responsibility for charging me twice, the item itself is absolutely cheap rubbish.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

It's a complete scam! An absolute rubbish item of the in correct size (there's no sizing label either) and ZERO customer support.
Waste of money! Just go to M&S as they are fab shorts/clothes when they have the stock. Or NEXT - both have amazing returns support and customer care

If I could give this company 0stars I would.
I ordered what was advertised as a navy blue linen two piece, what I got was a see-through pollster two piece. Which was also badly put together. I received the item at 11am and requested a return and refund before 12pm. This company has offered me up to 40% off the order or I can return which will cost more than the item is worth.

I ordered a Laurence Classic Knitted Polo Shirt in XL, relying on the product-specific size chart on Wilson & Carter’s website. When it arrived, the garment did not match the advertised XL measurement.

I photographed both the XL label and the actual measurement and contacted Wilson & Carter requesting a full refund. I was perfectly willing to return the item if they provided a prepaid return label.

Instead, I was told I would need to return the incorrectly described item to China at my own expense, with international return costs quoted at $30–$50. I was subsequently offered a partial refund or 100% store credit, both of which I declined.

After repeated attempts to resolve the matter directly, I raised a chargeback with my bank and supplied the order confirmation, advertised sizing, photographs and correspondence as evidence.

Wilson & Carter subsequently issued a full refund. I am pleased that I eventually received my money back, but customers should be aware of the difficulties I experienced obtaining a refund for an item that did not match the advertised sizing.

My advice is to check the sizing and, importantly, understand the returns arrangements before ordering.

Even one star is generous. This is my worst online shopping experience. The cotton/linen dress is actually made of a really nasty synthetic and is like a cheap dressing gown from the 1970s. As someone else has said poorly made, wrong size, poor material. AND they DO NOT have a 30 day returns policy. I’ve been told it would cost me $30-50 to return due to international shipping costs. They are NOT based in London. Strongly recommend not to buy from this website.

Unfortunately you have to tick a star to be able to leave a review otherwise they would be getting nil stars. This company are scamming their customers. The appalling standard of products is breath taking. Product do not resemble the pictures on their website, they use cheap nylon material whilst claiming is a linen cotton mix. No fabric description tags, poor quality stitching. Their easy return policy is the scam I was offered various different monetary refunds with money subtracted for returns costs. The last one was a 100% refund however I would have to pay $50 per item to send them back. It would have cost me more than the refund to send them back. UNBELIEVABLE

I agree I wish I'd read these comments first. Such a terrible experience . The item recieved was nothing like that pictured online, and was a horrible material with visable poor stitching. Their online returns policy is totally misleading and untrue and this company should be shut down and investigated by trading standards. They refuse to give me a refund and to get one would have to return overseas at more cost than the item cost in the first place. I am trying to get my money back through the bank, not hopeful of ever getting my money back. I just hope other people see this and aren't conned as I have been.

Awful company. Dresses they sent were laughable. Anyway after seeing other reviews, I reported them to my bank using the spam misrepresentation report. Got a refund from bank within a few hours.
Wouldn't even be able to wash my car with the nylon sh*t they sent.

Absolute rubbish the items look nothing like the photograph and the material is cheap and polyester
They say a fool and their money are soon parted and I certainly have learned from this mistake
I think there’s better quality on Shein
I don’t know how this company can say their items are high end all I can say is they must have a damn good photographer to make the items look better than they are

Very deceptive company- suggest they are London based but are not. Goods shipped from China by Evri. Trousers nothing like the pictures on website and the most awful quality - thin rags! 'Easy Returns' policy but they fail to inform the buyer that the items need shipped back internationally at $30 per item! More than what I paid for them! I am filing a claim with Visa now and hopefully they will agree that the company is misleading buyers. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Please do not waste your time and money with this company, they will never answer your emails. I ordered a top for a friend’s birthday, sadly without checking them out, the top looked so lovely that I couldn’t resist. Within hours I knew I had been scammed when I noticed there was no confirmation email and my money had been taken straight away from my credit card, normally it would be pending for a while. I emailed the company several times to ask about my confirmation but no reply, I decided to call my credit card to let them know what was happening, luckily I was able to get my money back from them. 5 weeks later a shirt came from them, the wrong colour and size, looking nothing like the picture. I decided to return it to them with a note saying what I thought about the way they do business, when it advised me to email them to get a code for returns, you have to pay yourself by the way, guess what they have not answered that email either. The shirt will now be going to the charity shop.

Do not buy from Wilson and carter they are scammers !

If I could- there would be a zero star review. Like many others, I also wish I read these reviews. I’ve also reported them to Trading Standards for false advertisement (items do not match description, incorrect customer return information and not adhering to consumer goods act). Not that anyone seems to care so vote with your feet people and DO NOT ORDER A THING!
Absolutely awful company to deal with - but no doubt they’ll just pop up somewhere as Carter and Wilson - it’d be funny if it wasn’t funny.

I was sent my order poorly packaged..it arrived damaged. I asked for a refund because they would not arrive in time as they don't come from London. But I was sent another pair..and no refund so I have to get the credit card company to deal with it!!!

Extremely disappointed.
I ordered a pair of shoes on 14 June and reported a sizing issue on 26 June.
After waiting several weeks for a replacement, I received the new pair on 18 July, only to find it is the exact same size as the original.
As a result, the original issue remains unresolved.
I've been informed the replacement orders are final, I do not believe that policy should apply when the replacement has failed to correct the problem it was intended to resolve.
After more than five weeks, I am disappointed to still be in the same position and have requested a management review and a fair resolution, and awaiting response.
