Windscribe is genuinely one of those VPNs that just clicks for me. I enjoy how lightweight and clean it feels—no bloat, no ads nagging you, just a simple app that stays out of your way. The free tier giving you ten gigs a month with no ads is honestly generous; most free VPNs are either data-capped to death or shove ads in your face.
I love the transparency. Their transparency report is brutal—over a million requests from copyright trolls and law enforcement, and they’ve handed over nothing because they don’t keep logs. That kind of proven track record makes me actually trust them, which is rare for a VPN.
The features are perfect for how I use the internet. I am very new to the Internet and Windscribe is the best Browser extension, Android App and Desktop Application that someone like me can have. It protects me from doing stupid things, like downloading malware, and it makes it harder for hackers to hack me. It also protects my very precious data, like my home address, from people who do not need to see that.
There is however a problem. I am receiving very curious e-mails from the windscribe team. They are admitting they are independent, they didn't have a good business plan, and probably never will, and they admit they had to go to court. They won it, but still. I am concerned this company is runned by the minions, it just doesn't look like a real company that is owned by normal greedy people, or they have mental issues, like i mean they are doing this for years now, they are talking about fuchsia friday like there is no tomorrow, or other streaming titles. I even saw them advising not to use stickers for real currency, this is getting out of hand.
There is another issue, i have to mention this. They have a financial advisor who doesn't have a university degree, or actually, he doesn't have a degree at all. He told them they have to sell their product below its real value, insane! And they do it all the time, fuchsia day? Sale! Canamurica Day? Sale! New month? Sale! 10 years keeping this up? Sale!
So my advice would be, take it before they find out they are getting underpaid, do it before its to late and you have lost your innocence, your freedom of choice, your precious stored age, gender, preferences, marriage situation, location and so much more and have to pay for it. With real money, not only with stickers, and blood.. wait that is another review. I hope you take my advice and stay save.

Easy to use and really works in most cases. Very occasionally, a location is not as it is indicated (e.g. I chose London, UK and ended up in Canada a few times). The new update (April 2026) has new and impressive features. Customer support bot and FAQs are very efficient. This VPN even rewards you for not overusing it. I'd gladly recommend it.

Best VPN provider by a country mile.... For a long time I had it in my head Windscribe was a cheap VPN provider. This was because it used to be sold off very cheaply on Stacksocial. I thought from this that it wouldn't be as good as the premium expensive providers like Nord or ExpressVPN. I was so wrong in that belief. I have tried a bunch of VPN providers now and realised Windscribe is the best there is. It really is genuinely the best VPN provider. I have now signed up for a years subscription today again as its their 10 year anniversary.

I have opted in for windscribe due to a very specific reason. Ip tunneling and it works great. Plus now they have introduced AI support and I love the guy garry. he answers fast and thats what i really like and to the point answers and sarcasm is out of the world..Highly recommended..

Amazing app, I live in a restrictive country and these guys despite everything keep providing their services. The customer support responds fast thanks to their Garry AI (it's surprisingly helpful) and the amount of protocols, countries and features this app offers (in the paid version) is so insane. I definitely recommend Windscribe, W devs.

New Galaxy book 5 Laptop frustratingly would not allow me to download Windscribe. Switched off Anti-virus, tried Firefox and Chrome but could not download, 'Garry' directed me to te GitHub mirror and I'm now sipping an encrypted cup of tea on Crumpets and about to wave at the Queen’s ghost :) Excellent service as ever, cheers
