Trial box

I received a voucher to try out a sample box, only paying postage. When the wine arrived I was delighted as one of my favourites had been included. They were all delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. You do get wines not normally found in supermarkets, which is a great way to try new bottles without paying a premium for them.

Amazing experience to try the wine from everywhere around the world. Never got me disappointed, always something that you find interesting and delicious!
The guy from customer service Simeon Browne is extremely friendly and helpful, from the other line of the call you can hear that he’s smiling! Amazing work thank you for your help today !

Scam

They never made it clear that you are subscribing to a monthly payment of 38£ for mediocre wine be careful this is a scam avoid it at any cost, cancelling is possible only by calling and not that easy! Do yourself a favour and Avoid this!

Very nice rich red wine

Very nice rich red wine, which goes incredibly well with food. Great customer service support from Reza. Initially, the wine wasn't delivered due to breakages, but this was swiftly sorted out and I received a replacement delivery the next day.

Good products, appalling delivery / customer service

I subscribed to both the wine and the whisky. Like the products. No issues at all…until…

A delivery was left on the street whilst I wasn’t home. Literally on a public walkway.
I didn’t not get them.

Delivery photos clearly showed left on the street but the delivery note said left in an outbuilding.

But these things happen, easily resolved, right?

Except.

Apparently, because I didn’t tell them I wouldn’t be home, and despite having a secure back garden and lots of neighbours, it is within protocol for the delivery company to leave them and I quote ‘in the vicinity of the property’.
Which in this case includes on a public walkway in clear view and access to anyone walking by.

So I cannot get them resent (wine and whisky) and cannot get a refund.

Completely nonsensical. Requested to cancel subscription which is disappointing as I like the treat every month.

Really really poor service.

Very helpful customer service... could have done it online though

Christian was very helpful and processed my cancellation request quickly.

Not 5 stars because I had to call Wine52 to sort this out when I could have done it online.

Not worth it

Tried 2 months of wine from this company (Italian and Australian) as a potential alternative to another subscription - attracted by the option for smaller deliveries and themed boxes. I wasn't impressed by either though. The white wines weren't to my taste, but the reds were very poor - the first couple of sips had promise but after about 10mins in the glass they were watery and bland - all four across the two months were the same ao not accepting it was a bad batch. Absolutely not worth the money being charged.

To top it off, they imply online you can cancel the subscription but by the time you wind your way through the questions and extra offers they make you call them instead! Luckily my card expired before the next box was due for payment so I simply decided not to update it and default instead. Next thing, they're sending me emails saying they will keep emailing me until I pay! Very unimpressed and will not be recommending

Our products are of the highest quality and we offer many products that aren't always available elsewhere.

Didn't want to set up subscription

Didn't want to set up subscription, which is fine but to cancel you have to call, no way to cancel online, can only call between 9-5 Mon-Fri, short hold time but they then try to keep you subscribed.
