This is such a fantastic company

This is such a fantastic company. Really great wines and beer. I feel awful. as always try to support independent companies, but have cancelled my subscription as I want to lose weight with no temptations. I'm sure I'll be back. Definitely recommend. Mark and the remaining team are very personable and helpful. Thank you.

What a scam

What a scam. How can 3 bottles of wine cost just under £40 and they aren't even that nice and don't even talk about cancelling your subscription. It's such a process and at the end of the day, you have to phone them to cancel, which i did. I then said I wanted to cancel my order, only to be told to call back and select option 2. Did that and was told they cannot cancel an order. Tried to call back and selected option 1 again, hung on for ages and eventually put down. I will be declining the oldelivert and getting my money back!

Our suppliers often have larger overheads when producing smaller batches of their beers, wines, whiskies or coffee. Our products are of the highest quality and we offer many products that aren't available elsewhere, we produce a monthly magazine that customers enjoy reading, Our magazines for our products are included in every box and give our customers a wealth of knowledge on how we source our products, how our producers make their products as well as wonderful stories about the region they are produced in the stories behind their breweries, vineyards and distilleries.

Our boxes not only include our beers, wines, whiskies or coffee, but we also offer a quick postal service, snacks with our beers and wines and our product magazine in every box as well as amazing offers to use and share with family & friends. Our subscriptions are discovery clubs where our customers can choose to enjoy new and wonderful products every month, bi, or tri-monthly and of course, can cancel at any time should they wish to. We are sorry our prices may not be within budget for everyone all of the time but we of course try our best to balance our cost and supply prices as best we can.

You must cancel your subscription before your billing date. You can contact us by phone on 0131 285 2684, via Facebook Messenger or via our helpdesk https://www.beer52.com/helpCentre/home. If this was not done then at that stage we cannot offer a refund as the order has already been processed to our warehouse.

Due to the nature of our product, all cases are non-refundable unless defective in which case we would send a replacement or a refund. In accordance with our Returns Policy, which you have agreed to upon subscribing to our service, Beer52 does not accept returns unless exceptional circumstances apply.

We enjoyed our membership of wine52 and…

We enjoyed our membership of wine52 and reading up on the various wines from across the world but had to cancel for medical reasons. It was easier to cancel than what I thought it might be and the guy that dealt with our cancellation was a gentleman about it.

Great customer service

Had a couple of questions on the Coffee52 club (part of Wine52). Zayneb on the telephone help team was really helpful - answered all my questions and helped get my account running just how I wanted it.

Subscription trap ! Very hard to cancel !

I’m giving 1 star because canceling the subscription is extremely, extremely difficult. First they said you can’t cancel before the first delivery is completed, and then when you try to cancel on the website by following dozens of steps, you end up on a page telling you to call them between 9:00–17:00! While placing a new order takes 3 seconds, they’ve clearly played every trick to prevent cancellations. Making subscription cancellation this difficult is disgusting.

Free case = unwanted subscription

Free introductory case with plusnet (only pay the shipping). They then automatically sign you up to a £40 subscription which you can’t cancel online…. About 10 pages of “are you sure you want to cancel” with no actual way to cancel without calling them.

Seems deliberate miss-selling / blatant scam. I can’t believe plusnet even associates with them.
