If there was a negative zero rating

If there was a negative zero rating I give it -100, I have been with Wing for a few years now and it has got worse each year, NOW....I'm at my breaking point, I finally get data service only to get out of data after just one week. Do yourself a favor......., Don't get wing, It's not worth it no matter what they say to sucker you in, I'm going back to Verizon, it may be more expensive than wing, but at least with Verizon you get quality service. Wing is awful 😖.

Use another MVNO; Wing has middling service & bad online account management.

I've been a Wing customer for about two years, and I've noticed a gradual degradation in service quality over that time.

Additionally, there is no way to manage your account online - you can only add on services like phone insurance, but are required to contact their customer service during business hours for anything else (e.g. cancelling). I wanted to cancel my service near the end of my billing cycle but had to pay another $25 to wait until the next one to cancel because I needed to wait. To twist the knife, they do not prorate refunds if you cancel within your billing cycle.

In short, go with another MVNO. This one's cooked.

WingTel is absolutely terrible

WingTel is absolutely terrible. Their customer service is a complete joke — if you can even call it that. You can’t get through to anyone, no matter how many times you call, email, or try their “live chat” (which might as well not exist). It’s like shouting into the void. There’s literally no one to talk to when you need help.

I’ve wasted hours just trying to reach a human being, and it’s impossible. For a company that claims to care about its customers, they sure make it impossible to contact them. Honestly, I regret ever signing up with WingTel — the frustration isn’t worth it. Stay far away.

Beware!! Wing Mobile Wingalpha

Beware!! I had to file a complaint with the FCC: On May 24, 2025, I requested porting information from Wing Mobile to transfer my mobile number to a new carrier. I engaged with their billing department through their online support chat and clearly stated my intent to port out. Despite verifying my identity and reiterating my need for the porting PIN and account number, Wing Mobile representatives refused to provide the port-out details unless I paid a new billing cycle charge of $41.33—even though my previous cycle is still active until June 23.
They further threatened that if they gave me the porting information, my line would be canceled immediately and my service would be disrupted. They also stated that if I attempted to port out without paying a newly generated bill (which they pre-emptively charged), my account would be forwarded to collections and the port would be blocked.
This conduct is in direct violation of the FCC’s Number Portability rules, which prohibit:
Blocking port requests due to outstanding balances (FCC 20-42)
Terminating service upon requesting port-out details
Refusing to provide account number and PIN

Additionally, my account was charged automatically despite my request to cancel, and there is no option on their website to remove my credit card from autopay, which is another concern regarding consumer rights and account control.

Wing Alpha, save yourself the headache.

Wing Alpha let me bring number and provided decent service, until I tried to leave. They continue charging for service and yet I do not have a working number. They provided # port information request that does not work. When I asked for a manual release of my telephone number to provide to my new provider, they went silent.

I have reported them to the FCC and the BBB.

Do not EVER use this company

Do not EVER use this company. Everything was fine while we were with them but as soon as we decided to go to a different company, as we found a cheaper price elsewhere, they became AWFUL! I tried to cancel several times and they never let me. Then they said "Oh well you owe us for the next month" on the first day of the service plan. Then without my knowledge and no auto pay on they charged my card without my concent for that month which was suppose to be canceled. And of course when you DO cancel they take away the rest of your pay period. They are absolutely crooked! I would NEVER suggest this company and seems like I'm not alone. Look at the reviews. Hopefully they go out of business so they can't hurt others.

They will charge your card on file without your knowledge

Through service was okay and the price was decent but they relentlessly spammed me on my other phone number even after numerous times of asking them to stop. Not only that after a couple months they turned on auto pay and I never use auto pay. They pulled money out of my account without my knowledge One week before the due date. This was completely unauthorized and illegal very fraudulent. I would not recommend the service to anyone who does not like fraudulent charges on their bank account

Run in the other direction

Run in the other direction! First- my data speed was horrific, much worse than my prior carrier; second - the changed my plan without my request then shut my service for non-pay for the upgrade I never requested; Third - I was on autopay but received emails that I was late so my service was being shut off; I cancelled my plan but they refused to refund the following billing period I had paid before it started; I disputed the charge - it was refunded - the rebilled me..... go to Spectrum if you can - only 45 bucks a month - better service - better customer service

Stay away from Wing Wireless

I had Wing Wireless for about a month, my reception wasn't that great even though they used ATT's network I did not have as many bars and since my cell phone is also my work phone I switched to another carrier I was dropping a lot of calls. My service was due to renew with them for another month on the 5th i notified them on June 2,2020 to to cancel my service got an email back sure no problem well friday gets here I try and port my number they are holding my number hostage until i prepay for anotyher month. They told me I was good to go gave me the code i needed to give to my new carrier. New carrier calls and they were told that the permission was withdrawn until my balance is paid. So let me tell you while you are customer they are fantastic but the minute you want to leave they make it impossible. I had to get a whole new number so I could work on Monday and this was after having the same cell number for 15 years.
