Wispbyte is great

Wispbyte is great, the premium servers are cheap and work super well. Free is also free forever and runs any basic thing you would need. David is also a chill guy

For a free hosting service

For a free hosting service, this is honestly one of the best I’ve used. I’ve been running my bot on it for almost 2 months, and I’ve only had to refresh it twice. it’s that stable. Once the server is set up, you barely have to touch anything. I don’t usually write reviews, but this one definitely deserves it. 9.5/10.

The service offers a free server

The service offers a free server. While it has minimal resources, I don't mind, you can't just get pure Linux in a container; it's just a stub. I don't recommend it.

We're not a VPS hosting provider, I think you don't understand what Wispbyte is.

We provide free discord & website bot hosting, additionally we support other things such as Lavalink, databases, etc.

We don't provide full Linux support, especially for FREE as people would abuse it heavily.

I mean, it's free...

It's a free discord bot hosting. Also a paid one. You can select any software you want, For example Nodejs, Python, Lua, Java, C#, and more. Panel is Pterodactyl. And for the free hosting, you'll be granted a shared hosting, with 512MB of RAM and 1024MB of Storage. Which is enough for a small discord bot.

My Bot uses Nodejs for Welcome and Goodbye Card, as well as moderations, and it just works. The only downsides are the server sometimes each two or more days going offline without reason, and there is no log to check which is the problem.

EDIT: IT IS really UNRELIABLE after sometime. While the RAM and Storage is enough for my bot, the bot down for 2 times in a day and the panel is constantly giving 504 error.

EDIT (again): Turns out, it was DDoS attack, in which most of the free nodes are down. I will raise my rating because of my concern. Sadly the day of the DDoS happens, is also the day that I had lots of Discord bot in my server spamming cryptoscams.

Overall Good Service but fix auto shutdown.

It is a very good service and they are providing free servers so that is what appreciable but the issue I am facing and I guess most of the peoples are facing that the servers automatically shutdown down after 1-2 days, it doesn't work for 24/7 and I need to restart every 1-2 days and that is somewhat irritating.

Hey, sometimes we have ongoing maintenance that may stop servers, however this is not very common, and doesn't happen often. You can check our status page & our Discord server (https://wispbyte.com/discord) to be notified when this happens.

If your server randomly gets stopped, I would recommend you check the notifications box (maybe you were using 100% CPU for a long period of time without realizing), or maybe you were hosting something against Wispbyte's Terms of Service.

That is not true, we have over 99% monthly uptime for our free users, especially old users that are on Cluster-1 and Cluster-2. I also want to add up, that we have over 50 nodes for our free & paid users, it is quite hard for me alone to manage all of them, but I usually fix most issues pretty fast.

Cluster-3 may have some issues as it's a newly deployed cluster and it needs to be adapted to the new user needs. Additionally, more recently, this cluster had over 50 mining software on it due to a minor misconfiguration on our end when it comes to the anti-abuse software we've developed.

Right now everything's mostly fixed, that's maybe why you had some issues with accessing your server. We'd lie if we said that all of our users have good intentions in using Wispbyte, and we do our best to prevent this kind of behavior on our systems!
