How good was the installation. Excellent
From start to finish the company was professional and efficient. The sales person responded to my quirky needs, even when he was on holiday. The surveyor arrived as date and timed and again understood my quirky needs for the installation. The scaffolder also where efficient. The only hiccup was the installers did not arrive with enough cable to cater for the long run demanded by my quirky installation. They managed to overcome this problem. The team of three, divided their tasks and worked with efficiency, completing and commissioning the system within a days work. Unfortunately, the hand over was a little sketchy but this was remedied by very effective telephone support in the following days.
I have one little grip, not with World of Solar, but with the company, Growatt, who administer the controlling software's customer interface. There are two modes of viewing the performance of this software, one on an app (Shine) and one through a browser. They both need polishing a little and can be clunky. The best is the browser one which gives better feedback and better ways of changing setting. Which should only be done with great caution and knowledge.

I had my solar panels and batteries…
I had my solar panels and batteries installed in August. From the initial quote, to installation, the company was very professional and responsive.
The quality of the work was excellent. The team turned up at 8am, and finished by teatime. Most importantly, I’m now seeing a big decrease in my energy costs. Ian

No hard sell. Jacob Lipscombe provided excellent factual advice with regard to the Solar installation process. The actual supply and fit went smoothly, well within time expectation and conducted by a very affable, easy to get on with crew of 3. The proof of expected performance should become obvious over the coming seasons which I confidently expect to be in line with that reasonably forecast at day one

I approached World of Solar on the recommendation of a friend … this company is extremely well organised and efficient. I have just had solar panels and battery system installed by them. A1 from the start, Sorry it's taken a while for me to do this, It been a journey of over 12 month finding the right company and listening to a lot of Bull. Jimmy was so patient with all our questions and alterations that he made it a pleasure, every step of the way seemed to just happen so smoothly ... I meet a lot of trades and I can only wish they were as polite, respectful and punctual as Zak, Danny and Luke, They were the best they explained every step of they way, and left the house as they found it .. Thank you boys a great team.
And not forgetting the office crew ... All the paperwork and invoices all promptly sent to us and explain ... Thank you all .. Highly recommended

Solar PV and Battery Installion
From the outset with Matt, World of Solar have been very supportive and knowledgeable, all my questions regarding the Solar PV and battery installation were answered clearly. On the day of the installation the team of Zak, Taz and Theo arrived on time and set about with their work professionally explaining what was going on at each stage. Solar install…
The whole process from start to finish was a stress free experience. The help from Matthew at the start, with his advice and planning of the system with an easy to understand explanation was great ,he took his time to answer all my questions and those he did not know were passed to the technical team. The interaction with Connie and Milly in the office was good replying to emails and phone calls with quick responses and keeping me updated with install dates . The scaffolders arrived when supposed to and made sure i still had access to my garage and could not be faulted. The Surveyor Barrie was more than helpfull answering any questions regarding location of install. Callum and Taz arrived promtly on the morning of install were happy to spend time going through everything before they started. Their work was neat and tidy with all cables trunked and made safe they cleared up and left no mess. The cable was hidden outside behinnd the downpipe with a lot of time taken to find the best route . The install went without any issues and Callum spent time going through everything showing me how everything worked and connecting to my wifi and answering any more questions i had. Later that day the data logger stopped working and after talking to Milly, she had Callum call me who arranged to have a new one sent to me and was happy for me to call him after work to go through the connection process when it arrived. The whole process from start to finish was made so easy, dealing with helpfull and polite individuals who do what they say they will do in todays climate of automation is something to be praised.

The whole process was ultra smooth and efficient from our first telephone call with Dave through to receiving the final documentation. The 16 panels, bird protection and battery were installed in one day. I’m afraid to say I can’t name the installers (my memory isn’t what it was) but they were polite, helpful and left the area tidy and clean. We have found the whole team at WOS very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We would highly recommend going “green” which not only gives us a good feeling, it is saving us money - we are currently importing very little from the grid.

Solar Panel instalation problem
Our installation was not easy for Jamie's team, the slates on our roof are nearly 100 years old and cracked very easily. The installation team did not seem worried about it but it slowed the process and they needed 4 days to complete the installation which was done very profesionaly. The only problem we had was that when the scaffolding went up they needed to put a support plank on the front porch and in order to reach the back near the wall they managed to break several slates, I immediately sent before and after photos to Jade at World of Solar who passed the problem on to Laura, who contacted me to say she would investigate. During the installation I was assured that once the scaffolding came down they would repair any broken slates so I relaxed. The scaffolding came down and unfortunately they managed to break even more slates, so I sent another photo to Laura asking for the rectification to be done, I then got an email from Greg the Operations Manager requesting photos which I sent on July 5th and unfortunately we have not heard from them again.
It is a shame that a company with such a glowing reputation, should spoil an otherwise faultless installation by not rectifying a minor problem at the end. My mistake was to pay the full amount promptly, I should have retained enough to cover the extra cost.
I ended up getting the porch repaired by a local roofer at extra cost to me.
Future customers beware if you have a slate roof.

Upon reviewing the situation, we found that the issue you faced was related to the work carried out by the third-party scaffolders. While we always strive to provide a seamless and faultless installation process, we rely on external contractors for certain aspects of our projects. In this instance, we had entrusted the scaffolding company, who assured us that they would take care of any necessary repairs.
We take full responsibility for the breakdown in communication, and we have taken immediate steps and will be more vigilant in our oversight of any external contractors we engage in the future.
Regarding the extra cost for the repair, we have discussed the matter with you, and we have agreed to cover the cost.
We very much appreciate your feedback and we will use it as an opportunity to improve our processes and communication to prevent similar situations from occurring again.

World of Solar was great all the way around. Helpful discussion before purchase including suggestion to add a storage battery; brilliant all black panels; reasonably rapid installation after agreeing contract, but superb installation by the 3 fitters; not cheap but reasonable given the quality of everything. And when we get some sun, they work a treat, helping during the day and at night via the battery. We'll done and thanks.

From start to finish this company has been really good. Sales are polite, technically really good and know exactly what they are selling product wise,
Install was booked because our house is next to a church and graveyard there were strict rules where the scaffolding could go but the scaffolders got around any problems, installation team were great again very technical and happy to answer any questions relating to the kit and install.
Aftercare has been really good with rapid email support when needed.
Would recommend WOS to anyone that is unsure about Solar as they will answer all questions openly and they also offer HIES protection

AS GOOD AS IT GETS
The service was start to finish first class. The scaffold team were excellent, highly profesional, safe and very pleasant. Likewise the initial contact, the survey were great, and the PV installation team tremendous ambassadors for the World of Solar team. I cannot fault the service, even the scaffold team dismantled the scaffold a day early when we requested this. The 2 man team were stars. Most highly and unreservedly recommended.

Excellent all round.
The World of solar experience was positive from the start. Lizzie helped us enormously to understand the system and its operation and we achieved the best arrangements and financial agreements with the minimum of fuss. Zac, Danny and Luke made an excellent job of the installation being efficient, hard working and most personable the whole time. The finished system looks great, is hardly noticeable in terms of cabling and adjustments to the electric meters and clever in locating the required inverter, battery and switches in exactly the right place. We are extremely pleased and would thoroughly recommend the company, the employees and the process. Needless to say we are also very pleased with the generation of our own electricity, its storage and potential for selling to the grid.

Solar panels and battery package
So I searched the net for a while and contacted many companies regarding Solar panels.
World of Solar stood out as they were competively priced and responded in a timely manner. Matthew was my point of contact and he explained the process in detail answering all my questions and what system would suit my household needs.
I decided to have my panels installed.
