it is not very often I can say purchasing an item of this expense can be a pleasurable experience, but in the case of World of Solar it has truly been one.
Very proffesional. very courteous, very consciderate and a wonderful customer srevice ethos. Highly recommend, its not an easy deciasion, there are a lot of companies out there in this market place so I am glad, after extensive research I chose these guys. Good luck.

Investing in solar is a considerable commitment. I researched the market and took advice from current users.World of Solar was recommended to me. Rarely have I encountered a more efficient company, excellent communications, clear paperwork and a first class installation team. Only time will tell if the performance of the panels matches the company.

Brilliant from start to finish, Alan is a superb guy who talked us through the whole process clearly, helping us understand the in and outs of solar panels with every question answered quickly, the installation team were wonderful, helpful and worked extremely hard well mannered too. This has been an excellent installation from beginning to end.

I got 3 quotes from different solar companies. World of Solar (WoS) had a slightly different approach to the other 2, in that their quote was based on accurate images they have of my house, a questionnaire I completed, photos I was asked to take and an in-depth conversation with their designer. They then give me a contract and price. After signing the contract, they visited to do a detailed survey. I was impressed with their contract in that it was accurate and concise. It did not have lots of marketing information that one of the other companies included in their contract. So overall a good start.

The price they quoted was fair. Installation information from WoS was timely and accurate.

Scaffolders came on the Wednesday; solar installation was done on Thursday and scaffolding was removed the following Tuesday. The scaffolders did a good job.

Solar installation by Alex, Danny and Taz was outstanding. They were friendly and cheerful, they cleared up any mess, they came up with a better route for the cabling (through the house) rather than round the outside (as proposed by the surveyor). The trunking was extremely neat. They had to remove a shelf in a cupboard that was in the way of the RCD box. They then cut the shelf down to fit around the RCD box and made up a new support underneath. The technical handover was very good. And they finished around 2pm the same day

The system is now working as planned.

They insalled a 5.1kw array with a 6.5kwh backup in Feburary. The system works very well, generating all our power on most days. Firthermore they provided a very slick serivice and very good aftercare.

The whole team were friendly helpful and professional throughout the process. From the opening sale right through to the installation and aftersales support. Would recommend.

From start to finish, World of Solar has been wonderful to deal with for our solar and car charge installations. James started us off with a great sales experience - answering our numerous questions and helping us every step of the way. Communication was perfect - Jade and Laura kept us fully informed leading up to the installation and contacted us right away afterwards to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. John and his installation team were friendly, professional, tidy, and surprisingly quick. Even when a panel came damaged, they were able to arrange for a replacement to be delivered same day; so, there was no delay at all in having our system up and running. They made sure our apps were set up and everything was running perfectly before they left. John also gave us some good tips on how to get the most out of our solar usage. I cannot recommend World of Solar highly enough. They've made this whole experience stress free.

From the point I contacted World of Solar, I was assigned a contact (Jimmy) who was very responsive with my many questions. Some needed additional research but still I got prompt responses.
From that point the whole process ran very smoothly. Including a visit from their surveyor to making arrangements with the office staff in HQ regarding installation and certifications.
Finally the installation team came and within the day they had the whole system fitted and up and running. Very pleased with the whole service and would happily recommend them to future potential clients.

At every step of the process, every single interaction with World of Solar was exceptional.
From agreeing the proposal with the Project Designer, to getting an install date agreed with the Operations Manager, the install itself with the install team and then with Compliance and receiving a proper handover package following completion.
Everything was smooth and there were no unexpected items/issues that needed to be dealt with.
I'd definitely use World of Solar for any further PV needs!

Faultless. From first contact right through to installation World of Solar have been 100% professional and reliable. Everything happened exactly when it should and their comms were great too. Their local scaffolding contractor was far from satisfactory but that is a different company and WoS are, to their credit, on the case to get the issues with that sorted out.

Excellent service from start to finish. Knowledgeable sales staff were great ambassadors for WoS and their ‘can-do’ attitude shone through at all times. Similarly well motivated fitting team were a pleasure to entertain on my property and had an extremely positive attitude to any necessary minor problem solving. Clean, tidy, polite and respectful throughout. Follow up customer service and communication first rate. And the product works really well!

Good liaison throughout. The solar panels was installed and working on the date agreed. The team fitting the solar panels were nice and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend WOS.

A superb experience from start to finish. The quotation process with Lizzy was excellent with full discussion on every aspect and very detailed figures.
Installation was much quicker than expected with Alex, Taz and Danny on the roof and Zak on electrics in the loft. Zak was especially helpful and understanding of my smart home and existing quirks (UPS, networking etc).
After a couple of week my energy costs have dropped by 90%!!!

From me first sending images for a quote back in couple of hours and going ahead with deposit we were given a date to fit due to away had to give other day and no problem. Everyone so polite. Day of fitting guys had a small electrical issue but the guys kept at it until finished Can't speak to highly of everyone and now I can call myself a Green next step get rid of gas go all out electric many thanks World of Solar. This was a great experience from start to finish. Stephen was really helpful and informative. The whole admin process was seamless. The installation went smoothly and not mess was left very professional. Best of all we are now using less than 11% from the grid.

The whole process with World of Solar was very professional. Our initial contact, Aaron, went the extra mile. He checked repeatedly with the engineers regarding the specs of the system they recommended, and he eventually specified a non-standard system to meet our requirements. He also checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly.

The surveyor was very thorough and carefully thought about the best location for the installation and path for the cables that minimised the disruption during installation.

The back office team, including Jade, Conor, Millie and Laura, communicated regularly to ensure we were informed at every step.

The installation team were careful and professional and minimised the disruption. They even installed the system on Good Friday and Easter Saturday!

And finally, the system has been working beautifully since it was installed three weeks ago. Our electricity consumption from the grid is now net zero!

Liz was very professional and knowledgeable when showing us plans for our new build bungalow.She explained how everything works clearly and answered our questions quickly and concisely. This gaves us the confidence to go ahead when possible knowing that the company provides all the skills and help that we will need to run the panels efficiently and resourcfuly. Liz is a definate asset to the company.

World of Solar is a great example of how a company should be run. It was recommended by our neighbour for our solar panel+battery installation, and right from the beginning to the end, customer service was exemplary. We were guided through the process by Aaron who was always willing to answer any questions we had. Installation was stress free, the installers were courteous and professional, and we're extremely happy with our solar panel installation, which covers 100% of our electrical usage (including charging our PHEV) even on cloudy days. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

What a fabulously knowledgeable lady Lizzy is. Although we were not in the position financially to go ahead with an order. She gave a full and detailed rundown on what was involved, with no question frowned upon however naive they may have seemed. We didn’t feel any pressure on us in anyway and if our financial position changes would be 100% confident in Lizzy to fulfil our needs.
