From the first contact I had with Aaron, everyone has been great. I was really struggling with all of the information available re. solar panels and the different opinions. Every company was telling me different things, and every company was assuring me that their way was the best way (and that others were wrong).

Aaron was the only person that I found who was completely honest (explaining both the positives and the negatives). World of Solar was one of the cheaper options (but not quite the cheapest), but what made my decision was the fact that they were a national company with lots of good reviews (I made a point of actually verifying some of the reviews by contacting people directly on facebook).

We did have a few issues on installation day (mainly to do with the state of my roof) - but the install team (led by Hafiz) worked through it all and even came back on the following bank holiday to do some extra work (without charging me anything).

To be completely transparent - I did have some issues with the meter that was installed and my batteries - but someone came and fixed the issues immediately. I think you learn a lot about a company by how they deal with issues - and I have nothing but positive things to say about how things were resolved.

I have already recommended World of Solar to two other people - and will continue to do so if asked. Aaron clearly knows what he is talking about, and I felt that he was genuinely interested in making sure I got a solution that worked for my specific needs. Hafiz was also great, and Jade, Conor and the rest of the team got their communication spot on.

It is clear that given the rise in popularity of solar panels, there are lots of companies doing installs - but I have also heard lots of horror stories - so I am very glad that I chose a good company that did what they said they would do!

We had panels installed World of Solar. Preparation and information in advance were great. The price was competitive price considering the quality of the equipment (got 5 offers from other companies). The installation team was highly professional and did a good job on cabling etc. It all took 8 hours and they left the place clean and gave a thorough explanation of how to operate the system.

From start to finish, the service has been fantastic. When getting the initial quote, nothing pushy or stressful. There was a good discussion about what was ideal for us and impacts of us having certain layouts. Price was very competitive if not cheaper than the other companies. Installation date came around and everything was done in 1 day and they worked around my needs of wfh. However it doesn't end there. The service post installation, particularly from Connor, has been nothing short of exceptional. Documents provided very quickly, always on hand to answer any questions about getting the best from the system including setting it up. Absolutely brilliant from them.

Just had solar panels fitted and are delighted with the outcome. World Of Solar clearly explained each step of the process and delivered on what they promised. They even managed to get the installation booked in within 3 weeks of signing off the paperwork. Thanks.

World of Solar fitted our panels a year ago and in the last year we have been so impressed with the efficiency of the panels we have just had another 6.5kw battery fitted. The fitters on both occasions were competent and quick leaving the site clean and tidy and very helpful answering all the questions I asked

From start to finish the World of Solar team were fantastic.

Bobby made sure we had the best deal and configuration together with the survey, never tired of answering our questions and explaining everything; Calum the On-Site Team Leader and Electrician was brilliant, so knowledgeable with a great Can-Do attitude and made the installation a breeze and best of all No Cables To Be Seen; Tom the roofer assisted by Chris did a great job of applying the weatherproof fixing solution on the shingle tab roof; Commercial Director Shirley was very helpful in providing all requested assurances; tge World of Solar business system together with the admin team were great ensuring all paperwork arrived most promptly including the post commissioning paperwork.

All in a terrific team delivering a great product and a great customer experience - well done Team World of Solar! Thank You All.

Sorry to name names but I can't speak highly enough of Jade and Mel (not an 80's pop duo). They have both been so helpful and are a credit to the company they work for with nothing being too much trouble for them. The whole experience has been great from the start and I have not one regret

From start to finish the team were great - it's a minefield choosing a firm for a large price installation and you're never sure if you're going to get ripped off but this company are great.
Aaron, who took the time to chat with me, not pushy but very informative where other companies were really pushy for sales - In fact, Aaron's approach was so honest and straightforward; it was the reason I chose World of Solar.

Great service throughout from World of Solar. We made an enquiry almost a year ago and the initial sales call with Bobby was very relaxed, no pressured sales techniques, just an open, honest and knowledgable discussion. We agreed on a design, paid a deposit and then, weeks before installation, decided to move. WoS were great, provided a redesign of the system and then were very accommodating while we waited for planning permission.
The installation went smoothly and we are now left with a fully functioning PV system!

We've had great support along the way from Bobby, Jade and Laura in the office and some tech support from Connor post installation

The process and service was excellent from start to finish. Leah that gave us our quote and advice was amazing, the scaffolding company was also excellent. The guys that installed our system were incredible, very friendly and professional, Callum talked us through the system and ap in a very easy to understand way. Danny and Sonny were the other 2 installers, all 3 worked incredibly hard and I would recommend them to anyone looking for solar. World of Solar is a great company, the admin team, Mel and Jade, that have sorted all the docs that I need to arrange my SEG tariff- I cannot speak highly enough of this company.

They were slightly more expensive than the national companies, but they promised a good installation. (Believe me my friend placed an order 2 months before me with a national company. A little cheaper but the system is still not signed off. So worth paying a little extra!)
I had a system installed in December 2022 (about 3 weeks after placing the order which was super quick!) by John the electrician and another guy (sorry I've forgotten his name!).
My consumer unit is under a flat roof which presented a major challenge for John to install the electrics, but after several hours of jiggling cables he managed to achieve the impossible and get the cables through the roof space with nothing but a small hole to navigate.
The electrical installation was very neat and no corners were cut. (I'm sure any other installer would have just stuck up trunking across the ceiling!)
Inverter and battery installation was also very neat and tidy.
The systems been happily providing power and I have no complaints. The power output is upto specification and I now enjoy many hours of free electricity. (Still looking forward to some proper sunny days!)
**Only wish I'd gone for a bigger battery.**

We installed our Solar system on 21 March and it was great to work with World of Solar team. Special thanks to Aaron Fallon who guided us on the required Solar specs and provided us with all the information to make our final decision. Aaron provided us a 5 star service and was in contact with us through the entire process to ensure we were happy with the installation. Also, Mike and his installation team did a great job and guided us on the full set-up procedures. Thanks again for the great work and looking forward to see the Solar benefits over the coming years !

We selected this Company after much research. The initial consultation resulted in a detailed proposal which I customised. Arriving on site, the installer, Callum proposed an amendment to the roof arrays, which made good sense. Over the day and a half of installation, we met Callum’s Co-workers, Mason and Danny and were impressed by the Team’s application and effort. Inevitably, with a house of some antiquity, there were a few tiles cracked, but this was rectified immediately. The system has been running for a week now in the dullest of weather, yet the PV panels are powering the house, charging the battery and exporting to the grip. The Smart Meter has slowed to almost a stop. We were well briefed before they departed. I commend the Team on its skills and the Company on its product and service. I unreservedly recommend World of Solar.

Solar & Battery Storage System
We are extremely pleased with our new system which has now been up and running for 3 weeks. From our initial enquiry with Bobby at World of Solar we were guided effortlessly through every aspect by their team from quoting, to changing the layout on three different roofs and advice on how many batteries to go for. We had a hiccup on day one of the install with a van breaking down, so not all the installers turned up, but this was more than made up for the next day with extra bodies and the job was finished on time. Any queries I had were quickly dealt with and I would thoroughly recommend World of Solar to anyone.

Excellent service from initial enquiry to installation and after care. The installers are incredibly hard working, efficient and leave everything tidy and clean when they have finished. Highly recommend!

The whole experience from start to finish was pretty much flawless. Bobby provided good advice throughout - especially appreciated as I started to go off-piste with my requests.

The scaffolding arrived exactly as predicted and the guys putting it up were happy to work around the slightly odd configuration of our property.

The installation team - Chi Chi, George and Adrian - were absolutely first rate showing great diligence and attention to detail throughout. They stayed late into the evening to ensure the job was completed and still performed a thorough handover.

There was just one, small, snag which was fixed within 36 hours.

Jade deserves a special mention. She has been excellent in ensuring that everything in the process comes together at the right time and place.

I suspect they're not the cheapest company in the market - though the price we got was certainly competitive - but having heard first hand of many horror stories and problems with installers I am very glad that we went with World of Solar.
