World of Solar has given exceptional service from enquiry to after sales. Bobby contacted me immediately after I submitted the enquiry for a quote and additional information, and was available whenever I had more questions, always able to answer. The set up was desgined specifically to best suit my home and needs, not just a standard set up offered to everyone. The survey was booked in at a time to suit me, and I didn't have to wait long for the install. The guys who came to do the install did a fantastic job, their workmanship was clean and of a high quality, they were polite and tidied up before they left.

I would recommend World of Solar to anyone looking to get panels.

Our experience of World of Solar has been good throughout the process. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and quick to respond to queries that I had. The installation date was only about a month after the order was placed and the whole installation went very smoothly. The scaffolders were courteous and did an excellent job bridging over our conservatory without any problems. The solar panel installation team were excellent and ensured that the panels were nice and symmetric relative to the roof lines and the installation of the battery and inverter and associated cabling was very neat. So far the system has performed up to expectations and the software app has worked well. I have no problem recommending this company

Installation was very neatly done; only cabling I can see is in the attic and bit on the outside and that all looks very tidy.
World of Solar have also been very helpful in advising on the post installation part (signing up for export to grid, tariffs etc).

I have no reservations in giving WoS 5 stars and have recommended them to friends and family. In my experience, the entire team from the consultant, the admin/coordinators and the installers have been nothing short of excellent. There was no pressure to make the purchase, the installation supplied has proven to to be perfect for my needs with the solar panels/battery combination far exceeding my expectations, I was happy to see that the performance quoted was not on the ‘optimistic” side, but more conservative. I liked that I was assigned a consultant and administrator (Lizzy and Laura) who worked with me from start to finish, they were very quick to answer my questions and concerns (I had a lot) with both honesty and integrity, the knowledge displayed by the consultant was very impressive, this gave me confidence that I had chosen the right company. As for the installation team, they were fantastic, having had two inches of snow the night before I wasn’t sure that the work would go ahead. They turned on time and cracked on with it, it was a long day for them but at the end I was left with a very neat installation with no mess. They set up the app on my phone and gave me a detailed overview of the system, despite being a long day for them, they showed patience and never rushed me. Do your research but you can feel confident in using World of Solar of your installation.

Right from the start of the project, back in October last year, WoS were there to answer any questions etc.. The installation date was set and actually moved forward by 3 weeks in the end. Communications were superb and they couldn't be faulted throughout. Jamie (sales), Jade and Sally (installation), Alex, Mike and Chi Chi (installers), Megan (finance) and finally Connor (helpdesk) are all to be commended. A really smooth install and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend WoS to anyone. Although the weather hasn't been sunny since the install we are already seeing savings. A result!!

Whilst researching and costs / benefits for Solar Panels I spoke to around 10 different Companies, who were mostly quoting the same hardware solution. After speaking to Andy Southan from World of Solar he was the most knowledgeable and professional of all the Companys and this confirmed my decision to go with them. The installation team were fantastic making a very neat job of the installation.

I was kept informed throughout the order process from initial order, scaffolding erection, installation and final handover. I am now getting generation in excess of that calculated by Andy.

In short I have no hesitation in recommending World of Solar.

I am very happy with my 15 Solar panel/Hybrid invertor/6kW Battery and a high degree of customer service and coordination that cane with it - which is rare these days. From the outset then Malcolm was very easy to deal with during the sales process and pragmatic and flexible as I understood more and changed my order slightly. The scaffolding and installation dates were clearly communicated and kept to. The installation team (Mike and Rob) worked like Trojans to get the job completed resulting in a 2230 finish but a successful outcome. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Connor then provided me with technical tips and support in the fist couple of days to configure and optimise my system. Finally the payments team were friendly and not pushy - answering my questions on warranty clearly. Overall I would highly recommend World of Solar and have no hesitation in giving them a 5* review. In the spirit of open feedback the only niggle (and it is a minor one) was there a slight timing issue with the arrival of the kit and the installation team getting to us so i ended up helping the delivery guy unload the kit. Not a biggie.

The honesty integrity and tireless nature of salesperson Aaron gives him 6/5 star rating! He offers no BS and gives none. He always replied promptly to queries made in a friendly and knowledgeable way. I'm sure that World of Solar is successful as a company because of him, 🙂. He could have been a former pupil in another life had he originated from the same part of the world as me.
Apart from an episode with a scaffolder upsetting a neighbour,and there being an anxious day when the scaffolders didn't turn up. (not W o Solar's fault) my experience with the company and the performance of the equipment fitted is top rate.

Simply brilliant from start to finish. All the way from the initial discussion with Alex to installation, World of Solar cannot be faulted. From the moment Lee, Callum and (Jay?) arrived I knew our installation was in safe hands, and even though it was bitterly cold they just cracked on and although there were a couple of challenges they were finished after just 6 hours. Their professionalism and standard of work was a credit to World of Solar and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone who wants a Solar Panel installation.

After a lot of on-line research, their feedback on trustpilot was a deciding factor, as they scored very well on after-sales service, and I have already experienced that. The installers were excellent, and turned up at exactly the agreed time. Their experience enabled them to complete the full installation in one working day, and they made a very neat job of the battery and converter. The smart-phone interface is excellent, and I am experiencing immediate savings even in early March. I have no hesitation in recommending them as an excellent company to deal with.

I was very impressed with how my request was handled. The lady who I dealt with was very efficient and kept me informed with how my purchase was progressing. The installation team did a great job of fitting the panels and ensuring all was working before leaving. My thanks to all involved in this project.

I am very excited to see what savings I will actually be making. It was an imported investment to our family in this current climate . The installation team were extremely professional, clean , tidy. Thorough , polite and. Knowledgeable about the product . My house was challenging but they made it look so easy and all the cables running outside are neatly packed away . From start to finish World of Solar have been nothing short of professional. They have been in regular contact with necessary updates and checking that all was in place. Today, a very prompt, polite and professional team arrived to install our panels. After a short while on site they had agreed a plan (slightly different layout to that initially proposed) and having discussed it with me and explained their idea they proceeded with the work without any issue. Throughout the day they kept me informed of their progress. A detailed explanation of the set up and the app on my phone was carried out. They were very clean and tidy with nothing left on site (other than the panels, inverter and the battery) almost as if they hadn’t been there at all. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I was very impressed with the experience. Nothing was over promised and no high pressure sales. The install date was brought forward 2 weeks by agreement. The work was all completed within one day and the installers were meticulous and very polite. The system worked as expected and was explained to me as was the monitoring app. An excellent company to deal with - I wish all my buying experiences were as positive.

I'm giving WoS a 5 star review.
Not everything went perfectly, but the staff have a culture of wanting to help and they deliver a really good installation.
Special shout to Ash for turning up on the coldest day in December with many roads closed and the scaffolding covered in ice.
Mel also deserves a special mention for relentlessly chasing up our DNO for export sign off.. thank you Mel.
